Muddling Memory

Summary:
It's been 10 years since Bella changed and all she can remember is the pain, but someone is lurking in the shadows... Waiting for her memory to return.
I'd really love some reviews and ratings. I know it's my first one ever so I don't expect a lot, but feedback would really help me improve :) I can take it... Whatever you throw at me! ... I think ;)

Please note these characters do not belong to me. The were created by Stephenie Meyer (genius) and the story below is me going along with my (poor) imagination and making up a little something silly!

[From the Point of View of Jacob]

Careful Jacob, she may have a talent. Alice says something about telekinesis, but she isn’t sure… She doesn’t think it’s possible.

Shut up Seth. Let me do this my way. And with that I turned, I had to be quick for I didn’t want to expose myself, not in front of her. I’d mastered the art by now and quickly recovered from my embarrassment.

“Hello, Bella… My Bella.” I had never felt this nervous, this complete insecurity was making it hard to talk, to think… Maybe it was the smell, it wafted through the air and was so strong… So sweet.

“I’m yours? I seem to remember Edward, he thinks… Thought… That I was his.” Bella spoke clearly and articulately but slightly more musical than before: her voice was smooth and seemed to slide through the air, into my ears and straight to my heart. It warmed me instantly, my muscles relaxed and I felt at ease.

“Trust me, he still does. But you can’t have all your memory back, or you’d remember me… Jacob. You broke your hand on my face. Remember?”

For a moment her eyes became unfocused, a smile spread across her face and then withdrew. She frowned and whispered, “I love you…?” I nodded eagerly, this was my chance. She remembered me, she could be mine… My Bella.

“Yes, you do. But you love Edward too. You and him were going to get married, he was going to turn you… Into… This.” I shot a look at Charles, “Seems he didn’t need to.” A growl escaped from my chest as Charles straightened with a sense of pride, he quickly doubled up again and starred off into the trees.

“I love you both? … Ahh, but I chose Edward over you… Then why are you here? If you still love me why do you advertise Edward? … Ahh, his talent. He knows what you’re thinking… Is he near? … No, I don’t suppose he is, I would be able to smell him.”

“This is easier that I imagined,” It really was. I thought I’d need to give detailed accounts of our time together to persuade her. “Edward wants to see you, he’s waiting for you with the Denali coven… More dirty bloodsuckers. I’m meant to bring you there.”

“And if I don’t want to go? If I want to stay here with you?” Her words pierced through me like a bullet never could, shock spread across my face and I smiled involuntarily and charged towards her wanting to embrace her, to kiss her, to never let her go...

“STOP!” She screamed and I was suddenly unable to move. My muscles would not work even though my mind willed them to. I hovered inches off the ground while her outstretched hand was directed towards me. She gasped and I fell to the ground, suddenly able to move. I struggled for breath and stuttered.

“B-b-b-ella. What the?”

Charles smiled inwardly and muttered to himself, “Amelia, I will be home soon, dearest.” He glanced up at Bella and looked, suddenly stunned, at her face. I followed his gaze and looked once more into the eyes of the Bella I knew: the brown-eyed Bella from Forks, the girl I fell in love with. The girl I would love until the end of my days, my Bella.

But the moment passed and they were black pits once again.
