Bella's POV

I stopped crying about a half hour into packing Charlie's things. I just felt that i had nothing left to cry. So i headed down stairs to get something to eat. I asked Chris what he wanted, but he declined the offer.

I searched through the fridge hoping to get rid of all thoughts of Charlie. Or anyone else that this place reminds me of.

I pulled out some left over turkey and mashed potatoes, most likely from thanksgiving. I waited as they warmed up in the microwave. Leaning against the counter i thought of what i should do.

Charlie had left me the house, and most of the money. I want to stay but i'm worried it might bring back memories that took me years to block. Which my powers helped me do. Telekinesis, and phycokinesis are my gifts.

Apparently Gran had been a witch. Renee some how skipped the genetic makeup and never discovered her powers. So when i went to San Francisco on tour, because i had won a summer there, is where i met the sisters. Piper, Phoebe, and Paige.

Now i live there with them in the manor. Well, i guess i used to seeing as though i now am moving back here. Which i'm not so sure is good, or bad. Demons could attack me, or the sisters. And since i'm not a Whitelighter i can't orb to them. So Chris is coming to stay with me.

"Everything's packed." Chris said rounding the corner and coming into the kitchen. I grabbed my plate of food and sat down at the table. I didn't reply as he sat down in the chair opposite from me.

"You okay?" he asked giving me a worried look. Damn him. Him and his whitelighter sensing powers.

"Yeah." i said and took a spoonfull of mash potatoes and shuved them in my mouth. He turned and looked out the window above the stove.

"It's getting late. We should get some sleep for school in the moring." i nodded and pushed away my plate. I wasn't very hungry.

"Okay." i said standing up and dumping my food in the garbage. Chris stood and followed me up the stairs. I led him down the hall and to the guest room. "You can sleep here." He gave me a quick peck on the cheek and ducked through the door way.

I turned a headed to my old room, passing Charlie's on the way. I had to close my eyes as i did, and when i entered my room i opened them. Tears hung from my lashes.

Alice's POV

It was Carlisle's idea to move back to forks. Something we've never done, and if we had i would of suspected we wouldn't of moved back here.

We were all sitting in the car. All of dreading what was to come. Edward drove, and Emmett rode next to him while Rosalie, Jasper and i sat in the back. They got the windows while i was squished in the middle.

We were all silent as Edward neared the school. None of us wanted to go, we all wanted to run away from that building. The building where we had first met her.

We had heard that she had moved about forty or some years ago, and had died in a car accident in San francisco. That news had made everybody sad, even Rosalie. Though she had never liked Bella, Rose had come to understand Edward's love.

Edward had tired to run to the Volturi, but lucky for him i had seen what he'd do and told Carlisle. He had put him in the right sense. As for the rest of us, we were just as upset-without the temtation to kill ourselves-and glumed for about three years.

as we entered the building a wave of familarity washed over me. i scanned the heads of teenagers making sure nobody we knew was there. Which of course is silly, because it had been Forty years. They were all either dead or grandparents.

We walked up to the woman at the front desk in the guidence office. She looked up at us in awe.

"Can i help you?" she asked in a high pitched voice. Edward stepped forward to answer.

"Yes, my family and i need are class schedules. We're new." He smiled down at her, making her cheeks blush. The smell of her blood filled the room, it smelt good. But not as good as...

"Here Alice." Edward said handing me my schedule. I took it wearily. I turned and headed out the door after my siblings, dreading this day and wishing it would all be over soon.
