Continuing: Complications, Goneandnevercomingback., Marionette, mynewLife, and SpilledMascara. If what you read wasn’t listed and you want it continued, tell me through the “contactauthors” button on the “elainamorrigan” account why I should continue. -elle/Twizzler

Notes:
I really enjoyed writing this story and I hope you enjoy reading it! (It may seem familiar to some, the story had a problem and wouldn't cooperate, so I took it off the site to change it.)

“Edward?” I called. I was in the forest by my house and I saw Edward come in here. I kept walking until I found him.

“I love you Sara.” He said into his cell phone, I couldn’t breathe. He hung up and turned to me. He glared and started to growl, “Why can’t you understand? I don’t love you! I never did!”

Jacob came running up, “Why did you push me away, Bella?” He cried.

I had enough, I started to run away. I suddenly was on a cliff facing the ocean. Leo and Peter were fighting and a member from his coven ran over and grabbed Summer. Just as Peter was done killing my best friend he turned and started to drink Summer’s blood. Her screams of pain echoed in my head, April started to cry.

Then I was falling, thrown of the cliff. A single face danced before my eyes: Edward.

I jerked up gasping for air. I turned a fraction and saw April and Summer sleeping peacefully in the other hotel bed next to mine. Something wet fell on my hand and I realized I was crying. Angry at myself, I wiped the tears away. I had to keep myself together.

We were getting into the car, ready to head for Illinois. Summer reached out and grabbed my hand. I turned to her and she smiled, “It will be okay, Bella, don’t worry.” She said. It seemed like she was the older sister, comforting me.

She let go and hopped in the back seat as I got in and started to drive.

“Bella, what’s wrong?” Leo asked.

“Nothing, sorry.” I said wiping my eyes. Why did I let myself cry? Of all the times? We were on the run from an evil vampire and his four member coven who wanted my sister and I was crying?

He stared into my eyes, trying to get me to talk. I easily got him to drink from animals, but his eyes still had a bit of pink in the gold.

“Really kid,” I said, “I’m okay.”

“Bella, you’re a twenty-three year old woman, you wouldn’t cry without a reason.”

“And you’re a fifteen year old boy who needs to understand that I am okay.” I remarked.

He sighed and sat down next to me on the hotel patio ledge, “I cry sometimes.” He admitted, “Before I was changed I met the most amazing girl ever. Her name was Eve.” His voice broke and he had to get control for a minute, “We started to go out and everything was great,” he clenched his hands into fists, “Until the dance.

“Vampires came and killed almost everyone in the room. Jude, Ashley, Eve, and I were just bitten. We quickly formed a coven and learned the ‘laws’ from nomads. After a while things started to get some normality. But not for long.

“The Volturi came and took her for her ability.”

“What is her ability?” I asked.

He smiled, “She could read minds. Brilliant, eh?” I winced, he didn’t notice.

“They told me if I could bring them this Carlisle Cullen I could get her back, Don’t worry, they just need to speak with him over his son and some girl who knew about us.” My heart sped up, “Are you okay? If it’s a problem I can stop telling you.”

“No I’m alright.” I said.

“Okay, so I was looking for him when I found Peter and…” he trailed off. Ending it quickly anyway.

It was shocking, he went through so much and I didn’t even know. His life story almost had as many ups and downs as mine.

I looked over and his hand was clenched, tears falling silently behind his fairly long curly black hair. I leaned over and gave him a hug, “It’s okay.”

“I will save her. I swear I will.” He said, his voice breaking twice.

I would joke around about him being a kid all the time when he was mature, but now he was vulnerable, childlike, and I just had the urge to hug him and never let go. It was like he was my little brother.

I came back from my flashback when my phone rang; it was Leo again, calling to give me the names I’m to use for the flight.
