Pain and excitment ran across his face before he could compose it.

"Are you sure?" He asked, his face was now contemplating.

"Uh huh." I answered glumy nodding my head. "What are we going to do?" I wailed.

He smiled my favorite crooked smile and replied "Nothing. Nothing for now."

I tried to put on my best smile, but it was lost with a tear that rolled slowly down my cheek. "But we have to do something! What about Charlie and school and Re-" He put his cool finger to my lips to silence me and then gently wiped away my tear with his granite hand.

"Shhhh." He soothed. "We'll work it out." Then he smiled with a far away look in his eyes. " I've always wanted to be a father." He mused.

Seeing that this hadn't completely cheered me up he crushed me to him and held me in his ice cold arms. I breathed in his wonderful, sweet scent and sighed ,this time with pleasure. I knew that everything was going to be all right.

"Are you okay now?" He asked.

I nodded and buried my head deeper into his chest.

He stroked my hair tenderly and then scooped me up into his arms. He laid me down on my bed and covered me with a quilt. Then he laid beside me making sure that the quilt was completly between us. I looked into his serepahic eyes and threw myself into his arms again. He wrapped them around me and kissed my hair gently.

Even though I was as calm as I could ever get in an ordeal like this questions still buzzed through my head. One of those questions quickly bubbled to my lips and I babbled it out without even pausing.

"Edward, what am I gonna do about Charlie? When he finds out about this he's going to ki-"

"Shhhhhh." Edward murmed silencing me once again. "Lets just get through the rest of highscool before worrying about anything like that."

Little did they know that that wasn't the only thing that they should be worried about.
