There's a new girl in the town of Forks, she's smart, musical and down to earth. Sound like anyone we know? So what happens when she meets the Cullens? ES FINITO! Also some people haven't realized this, I changed the title of this from, 'A New Point of veiw' to it's current title 'Afterlife'. Sorry for the confusion! Also in this and all of my other stories the pictures do not belong to me I don't claim them in any way what so ever and I put who does own them in the chapter. Don't sue me please.colorful-12.gif image by Erka_03Someone left me a review with a banner! I was so happy but then my mouse got knocked and the review got deleted. So if you are that amazing person who made me a banner, can you please try and put it in another review? I would be eternally greatfull.

I own none of the characters in the fabulous Twilight Saga. The rest however are figments of my imagination. For anyone who knows me I picked the name for the main character because I couldn't think of a better one, and once I put it in there it just worked.

We ran through the city hopping we weren’t too late. Songs to fit this situation were dancing threw my head. At the pace we were going it seemed there was no one but us in this place.

Looking to my left was the boy I had tried to forget. The one who was now racing to save her, the one he loved. The last two months raced threw my head. Meeting the Cullens, they faces swam through my head as well. My enemy also went got their turn, the monsters had ruined my life once did they have to go messing with what peace I finally had.

There was a good chance I wasn’t going to survive this trip. But I had to get the other two out no matter the cost.

Chapter 1

I was sitting in my room listening to music, and thinking of Bella. Everything reminded me of her now a day. Every day, night, thought, and song. I was completely, and blissfully happy.

"Edward?" Alice asked opening the door," I think you… might want to see this." I looked at her worried, is something going to happen to Bella? Was it the Volturi? Dear god, why did she always have to worry me?

I pushed away the worry, and focused on her mind. She was recalling a vision she had had a few days ago. I was hunting with Emmett. It was of a girl who looked strangely like me, same color hair same shaped face. She was standing on stage singing, with a band behind her. I could faintly make out the words she was singing.

"It’s time to say goodbye, I just don’t want to waste another day, its time to say goodbye, ‘Cause things won’t ever be the same, its time to say good-"That was when the vision cut off.

"Edward have you seen that girl… anywhere?" Alice asked me.

"Um I don’t think so, but it seemed like I knew her, somehow." I said. How strange,

anyone I knew would have died years ago.

"Well," said Alice suddenly confident," I’m going to see if I can’t look her up. I want

her to play at the wedding!" With that she skipped off to the computer looking up something about up and coming bands. I just stood there contemplating the fact that I was going marry the love of my life in a few months. Every time someone mentioned the wedding, I became unconditionally, and irrevocably happy. No one made me happier then Bella, my Bella. Just the mention of her made me smile.

I shook my head, clearing the thoughts whirling around it, and walked out the door, running to Bella’s house.

It was later than usual, and she was asleep. But I lay down with her anyway and mulled over the girl in the vision. I tried to pinpoint her voice to one of the hundreds of CDs stored in my room. No such luck. But then Bella started sleep talking again and I listened to her.

A few states away in Chicago, Kate was finishing the gig her band got at a club

downtown. "Thank you all, we’ll be here again, remember look for the name, look fo-"Maxi started yelling but was cut off when I dragged him off stage.

"No need to shout," I said with a smirk on my face. He was about to say something when I walked away, putting my headphones in.

Out of our whole band I was the only vampire. It’s strange sometimes, keeping secrets form your best friends, but then again they shouldn’t have to carry this burden too.

"So, who’s our next target?" Bridget asked when I got into the passenger seat, target meaning gig. NOT victim, I’m "vegetarian" thanks very much. Golden eyes and that whole bit.

The gear was already packed into the back, and the boys were packed back there with it. I laughed a little looking back at them. "Well boys? Where is our next target?" I asked. Aaron knocked down his cymbals trying to get a better position to answer my question. Me and Bridge both laughed as his head fell back into his drums.

"Well, that’ll have to be fixed," Maxi said laughing.

"We’ll look in the paper for a gig tomorrow, alright?" I said. Anymore questions and we need all new equipment.

By then we were almost at our apartment house thing. It used to be an old abandoned apartment house on the outskirts of Chicago. Until we got in there, banished the ghosties, and renovated it for four teenaged kids. That took months. But eventually we got a kitchen, three rooms, and a living room that doubles as a practice room, and Maxi’s room.

Turns out we were all a lot more tired than we thought. Maxi crashed on the couch and started snoring; Aaron didn’t even bother with a couch and fell face first on the floor. After she was done laughing at him Bridge went strait to bed.

I went up to my room and started practicing. See when you’re the only vampire in a house full of humans you don’t have time to practice your "powers". I mean honestly, if you walked into a room and saw a water bottle levitating in mid air you’d be a bit freaked right? Well that was pretty much what I was doing. ,levitating things in mid air, creating force fields, reading people’s thoughts from the city less than five minutes away.

That night something weird happened. I never read neighbor’s thoughts, because, well I would never be able to look at them the same again. But that night thoughts from the apartment two doors down were basically screaming at me.

I decided to read them, what was the worst that could happen? Don't answer that. What I read there got me angry, freaked, and scared all at the same time. I ran as fast as I could to the apartment, and banged on the door. No one answered. I did the only thing I could, and tore the door off its hinges.
