There's a new girl in the town of Forks, she's smart, musical and down to earth. Sound like anyone we know? So what happens when she meets the Cullens? ES FINITO! Also some people haven't realized this, I changed the title of this from, 'A New Point of veiw' to it's current title 'Afterlife'. Sorry for the confusion! Also in this and all of my other stories the pictures do not belong to me I don't claim them in any way what so ever and I put who does own them in the chapter. Don't sue me please.Someone left me a review with a banner! I was so happy but then my mouse got knocked and the review got deleted. So if you are that amazing person who made me a banner, can you please try and put it in another review? I would be eternally greatfull.
I own none of the characters in the fabulous Twilight Saga. The rest however are figments of my imagination. For anyone who knows me I picked the name for the main character because I couldn't think of a better one, and once I put it in there it just worked.

My family laughed too, we all separated into separate conversations, Emmett, Jasper and Maxi were having a heated discussion on who should be in the playoffs this year. Rose was talking to Aaron about cars. Alice and Bridget were gushing over the shopping in Chicago.
While Bella and I listened to Kate play. She was really very good. Bella kept looking from me to her and back again, thinking about something. She apparently figured out whatever she was trying to decipher because, she stopped looking at us and listened to Kate play.
I heard a distinct change in music when, the song that got me interested in the band, stated playing. Afterlife had come on, on her I-pod, and she was playing it just like the other songs she had played that night except, now she was singing quietly. The whole band looked up when she started to play the song, and my family looked up to
see what was distracting them.
It really was a good song, if not a little depressing. After she was done, Bridget murmured, "I really don’t know how you do that."
"Do what," Kate asked suddenly. Bridget obviously wasn’t expecting her to here and was a little flustered.
"That song is one of the best you can play and I’m wondering how that is. Either it’s because it’s one of your favorites, or because you can understand the mood behind it, I’ve no idea." She said. Kate never answered she just looked at the moon with, a sad look on her face.
"Hey," Emmett said trying to brighten the mood, "Who’s the Dragon Lady?"
"You heard that, did you?" Aaron asked. "Well she’s the director of the orphanage were being held at."
"Kid hating, fun sucking, over controlling, Crab." They all said at the same time.
"A mutual feeling, obviously." I said a bit amazed. Could an orphanage really be that bad? The rest of us were thinking that too.
Aaron, Bridget and Maxi then spilled, about the horrible life in an orphanage. Well not only that. They basically spilled their whole story. It was completely depressing.
If it wasn’t for Jasper altering our moods so we just felt sad and not completely depressed, or for Kate belting out the happiest songs on her I-pod I don’t know what we would have done.
Bridget’s parents died on the flight from England to America, bad landing equipment. She said it was a miracle that she survived. From what she could remember, she had come out unharmed because her mom was holding her, she had only been three. By chance they were by one of the emergency doors that popped open when they crashed. She could remember thinking "Ooo, a slide". Apparently she really wanted to get down that slide, because next thing she knew she was at the bottom laughing and clapping her hands, while people swarmed around her.
Aaron parents had died when he was ten. It was their thirteenth honeymoon and they decided to go on a cruise. The ship sunk. He joked a bit about his parents having a lapse in judgment. He said his parents were always superstious, and wondered why they had decided to go on a cruise considering that it had been Friday the thirtieth, and it was their thirteenth honeymoon.
"Your parents were superstious and they had there wedding on Friday the thirteenth?" Jasper asked incredulous.
"That’s so cool!" Emmett yelled obnoxious as always. Rosalie smacked him on the head again.
"Not exactly they went weeks late to their honeymoon, because my mom’s dad died the day they were supposed to go. Funnily enough they probably blamed it all on the
black cat that crossed my Mom earlier that day." He said with a laugh.
It was weird how he took the deaths of his loved ones so calmly. Kate looked up again at my thoughts; I was starting to think she was another mind reader, and scrutinized Aaron as well. But our doubts were interrupted when Bridget suddenly had an empathy.
"Hey weren’t you the girl we gave the poster to earlier this week?" She asked looking at Alice.
"Duh, honestly Bridge you are just as clueless as Maxi sometimes." Kate said.
"Wait, what?" asked Maxi and we all laughed.
"Hang on what time is it?" asked Kate suddenly worried.
"It’s about… twelve," Emmett said.
"Crap!" they all screamed at once. They all started packing up at once.
"Sorry," said Bridget determined not to be rude, "but we’ve got to run Curfew is eleven."
"Oh, yeah like we’ve been following it for the past week." Kate screamed over her shoulder at her as she tried to help Aaron with his drums.
"Yes but the problem is The Dragon Lady will be back soon and we need to be in our beds." Mai said catching hold of Bridget’s arm and dragging her down the path to a rental car that stood at the end.
"Sorry!" they all yelled one more time before climbing into the car.
"I liked them," Alice said getting into Rose’s convertible.
"We all did Alice." Jasper said. And we had, they were all really nice if not a bit eccentric. Bella and I waved goodbye to them, then went to my car so I could drive her home.
"I feel so sorry for Kate." Bella said suddenly.
"What why?" I asked. Surprised, other then the whole Dragon Lady thing there wasn’t really a reason to feel sorry for her. We hadn’t heard her story; there was no time for it.
"She lost my, you." She said as if this made perfect sense.
"Huh?" I had to ask I really had no idea what she was saying.
"How ever you would explain us," she said trying to explain it right. "She lost what we have." Suddenly I got what she was saying.
"How in the heck could you tell?" I asked amazed. Was this more of the weird intuition Bella seemed to have?
"You could see it in her eyes. It was the same look I had when… well yeah. It was like she’s numb." Just that slight mention of the time I left sent pain rocketing threw my chest. I’m never doing that again for as long as I live. I thought crossly. I still couldn’t believe I was that stupid.
"Hmm." Was all I could say. By that time we had come to her house. Luckily Charlie hadn’t waited up. I dropped her off, and then went to drop of my car at the house. I couldn’t have been more then fifteen minutes yet she was already in bed, having showered and everything. I lay down next to her and put my arms around her waist.
"Hi," we both said at the exact same time. We laughed, softly so we wouldn’t wake her father in the next room. I started humming her lullaby, and she fell asleep in my arms.
