There's a new girl in the town of Forks, she's smart, musical and down to earth. Sound like anyone we know? So what happens when she meets the Cullens? ES FINITO! Also some people haven't realized this, I changed the title of this from, 'A New Point of veiw' to it's current title 'Afterlife'. Sorry for the confusion! Also in this and all of my other stories the pictures do not belong to me I don't claim them in any way what so ever and I put who does own them in the chapter. Don't sue me please.colorful-12.gif image by Erka_03Someone left me a review with a banner! I was so happy but then my mouse got knocked and the review got deleted. So if you are that amazing person who made me a banner, can you please try and put it in another review? I would be eternally greatfull.

I own none of the characters in the fabulous Twilight Saga. The rest however are figments of my imagination. For anyone who knows me I picked the name for the main character because I couldn't think of a better one, and once I put it in there it just worked.

Chapter 23

I was tired, that was unusual. Last time I was tired I actually slept. It was weird. I yawned as I leant back on the bike. We were sitting in the front of the Cullen house waiting for Edward to get back from dropping Bella off. Alice and Jasper were sitting in her porch, and the rest were hunting. I wanted to go inside but Edward had the keys, and well, Alice didn’t think it’d be a good idea to break the door down.

Apparently Emmett put a hole in the wall while we were gone. I still wanted to crash on the couch though.

You can really blame me for being tired, it’s been a weird sort of week. I was adopted, joined a coven, which I promised myself I’d never do since my first experience with one, and I got my brother back. A weird sort of week. It seemed as though our lives were pointing to some sort of conclusion. My sense of time was all screwed up, which is probably why I’m tired as well. The last time I felt like this was right after I came back from my time traveling adventure. I slept for two days because my senses were off. That wasn’t fun considering I had to high tail it out of there when I did wake up.

I didn’t realize my mind was open until Edward drove up behind me. "You can sleep?" he asked jumping out of the truck. I slammed my mind shut and looked at him.

"Only ever done it once," I said. "Where’s the keys?"

"Since when do we need keys?"

"You’re kidding right?" I asked him. Alice heard our conversation and got out of the car.

"You don’t have the keys?" She asked dancing over to us.

"I saw you opening the door with the keys…" Alice said trailing off.

"That doesn’t necessarily mean he had them Alice," I said shaking my head. She was a lot lie Bridget, always confused. Yet somehow completely right all the time.

"Whoops," she shrugged and went to sit in her car again.

"How long until they get here?" Edward and I called after her.

Another hour or so, she thought from in the car.

"I give up," I said, walking to my Jag and laying in the back. Okay so I admit it I was nervous about the whole telling the family that I was Edward’s long lost twin. I have no idea how they’d handle it, and on top of that, I had to wait to tell them. It was the kind or thing where the more you wait the more nervous you get. I don’t like being nervous.

Jasper couldn’t help me either, I was blocking his power and if I took the shield down Edward would start reading my mind, I still didn’t want that even if he was my brother. My life is way too complicated and confusing.

I really wanted to just sleep. Sometimes being a vampire sucked. It was thirty minutes before Edward looked up, saying, "I hear them." Then ran off into the trees. Sure enough four pairs of feet were running towards us, and one was heading towards them. I didn’t bother getting up from the jag, as they came into view, and groaned as someone poked me in the head.

"The hell Emmett?" I asked sitting up and rubbing the sleep out of my eyes.

"You can’t possibly be tired you’re a vampire!" Emmett exclaimed poking me again.

"Yes I can," I said.

"Where’s your stuff dear?" Esme asked walking up behind Emmett.

"In the back of the truck, I don’t need all of them Alice just brought some of the old stuff." I said getting up as the boxes I needed lifted from the back. I looked at Edward with concern. He was grinning and looked like he was about to explode.

"What’s going on?" Jasper laughed looking at Edward too.

"We found out some really cool news while we were in Chicago," I laughed.

"What?" Carlisle asked leading the way into the house.

Apparently Alice couldn’t take anymore, because she started dancing around he room singing, "Kate’s Edward’s twin sister."
