Afterlife

Summary:
There's a new girl in the town of Forks, she's smart, musical and down to earth. Sound like anyone we know? So what happens when she meets the Cullens? ES FINITO! Also some people haven't realized this, I changed the title of this from, 'A New Point of veiw' to it's current title 'Afterlife'. Sorry for the confusion! Also in this and all of my other stories the pictures do not belong to me I don't claim them in any way what so ever and I put who does own them in the chapter. Don't sue me please.colorful-12.gif image by Erka_03Someone left me a review with a banner! I was so happy but then my mouse got knocked and the review got deleted. So if you are that amazing person who made me a banner, can you please try and put it in another review? I would be eternally greatfull.

Notes:
I own none of the characters in the fabulous Twilight Saga. The rest however are figments of my imagination. For anyone who knows me I picked the name for the main character because I couldn't think of a better one, and once I put it in there it just worked.

Aaron

Chapter 32

I can’t believe we did that. I can't BELIEVE we did that! I thought looking at Bridge, Maxi, and Aaron, all lying chained down t three different beds, as we tried to decide who was going to bite whom. So far we've got Carlisle, biting Aaron, and me biting Bridget, but they were arguing on whom should bite Maxi. The obvious choice was Edward he was the oldest, with the most control, but he argued that he'd tasted human blood and therefore could not be trusted. He wanted Esme or Rose to do it. They were arguing about this earlier too, while we were trying to get them out of the hospital.

Emmett was apparently still geeking out about it. "That was so awesome! Just like in the movies! Stealing a truck with bed in the back! Getting them out without anyone noticing! Kate having to wipe those people's memories! We have the best family ever!" He was yelling. What does that remind me of? I thought looking at the big lovable buffoon. Must have been a movie.

But he was right it was pretty awesome. After Alice had finished explaining in great detail, the family had left. Carlisle clocking out as there was nothing else a 'human' doctor can do for them. I stayed as they got everything set up. Three bed squished into a quest room, restraint take from the psychiatric part of the hospital, and has Emmett had said, a truck that was basically an ambulance fit for three people, that looked like a police truck, that Rose would get rid of later. I don't know how, I don't want to ask.

I stayed and pretended to fall asleep, and when the hospital called Carlisle to pick me up, because visiting hours were over, Edward came and got me. As soon as the owl shift started, Carlisle, Alice, Emmett, and I came back to the hospital. Unfortunately that’s when it turned sour. We climbed through their window, and rolled there cots down the hall to the elevator, with all the equipment needed to keep them alive. Only there were people on the elevator that Alice hadn't seen.

Emmett and I blocked them in taking their radios before they could blink, and I wiped their memories. Controlling memories really does come in handy sometimes. So while they were standing in the back of the elevator, drooling slightly, I'm still worried I took too much of their short term memories, Carlisle and Alice rolled Bridge, Maxi, and Aaron into the cramped elevator. When the elevators opened is when things got tricky, we had to sneak to the back of the hospital where the truck was parked without getting seen by the cameras.

We were doing... okay. We hadn't gotten seen by the cameras, but we were moving at a snail’s pace. Sometime we had to wait for a camera to turn away, sometime we had to re-a gust in a line to sneak behind a camera, it was all extremely annoying. Then Aaron’s heart monitor went off, I think I had a heart attack. Everything was so quite just a minute before, then there was loud beeping going off five times every second. I thought for sure we were caught.

I wasn't exactly off. No longer paying attention to the cameras, we ran out the door and into the van. Alice went back to erase the tapes, and we were off. Zooming down the street Carlisle was in the back keeping them stable, and Emmett was sitting next to me in the front seat laughing his ass off. "Have you done anything like this before?" I asked him. With his personality who the hell knew?

"You know there was that one time I blackmailed Jasper to rob a bank with me, just to see if we could get away with it." He said still laughing. I laughed with him. I could perfectly picture, Emmett sneaking through a bank with a ski mask on, an annoyed looking Jasper trailing behind him.

Which pretty much brings us full circle. We rushed into the house to find Edward and Rosalie arguing in the living room. They kept arguing as Emmett and I dragged them both upstairs, after we'd helped Carlisle get my friends settled in the guest room.

Now after more than five minutes waiting for them to hurry up and decided who was going to bite Maxi, I was fed up. "Edward, you’re doing it, you need the practice, and if you can stop drinking from Bella you can stop drinking from anyone," I roared over their shouting. I had been told the James-Victoria story during the week in between the incident and trying to leave. This was now impossible. I couldn't just leave them with three new newborns, bad bad idea.

"No!" Edward yelled a little indignant. I rolled my eyes, pushing off the wall I was leaning on, and grabbed him by the collar, moving him so he was next to maxi's bed.

"You’re so damn stubborn," I muttered taking my place next to Bridget and looking up at Carlisle for approval. He nodded and we all bit down. Including Edward who'd given up after he realized he had no choice in the matter.

The taste exploded in my mouth, it was easily the best thing I've ever tasted, better than any animal I'd tried put together. The constant ache in my throat went away, and I knew it wouldn't come back until I stopped drinking the honey like liquid. I was seriously considering not stopping, but then I remembered who I was drinking from. I pulled back horrified at myself. Bridget was one of my best friends, the only other girl in our group, the one who put her foot down with me when the guys wanted to do something with me. I could and would not kill her.

I looked at Carlisle and Edward, who'd pulled away a second after I had. Edward and I looked at each other, watching as our eyes turned a very bright red. A sense of relief filled me. It was over, I'd stopped. The feeling didn't last long. They started screaming, they'd be screaming and thrashing for three days, I reminded myself, and there wasn't anything I could do about it.

I sat on the far side of the room, not wanting to leave like Edward, Carlisle and the rest had after a minute they were probably going to get out of the house for a few days, the screaming tended to be unbearable.

God help me, I thought as I settled down to wait.
