Afterlife

Summary:
There's a new girl in the town of Forks, she's smart, musical and down to earth. Sound like anyone we know? So what happens when she meets the Cullens? ES FINITO! Also some people haven't realized this, I changed the title of this from, 'A New Point of veiw' to it's current title 'Afterlife'. Sorry for the confusion! Also in this and all of my other stories the pictures do not belong to me I don't claim them in any way what so ever and I put who does own them in the chapter. Don't sue me please.colorful-12.gif image by Erka_03Someone left me a review with a banner! I was so happy but then my mouse got knocked and the review got deleted. So if you are that amazing person who made me a banner, can you please try and put it in another review? I would be eternally greatfull.

Notes:
I own none of the characters in the fabulous Twilight Saga. The rest however are figments of my imagination. For anyone who knows me I picked the name for the main character because I couldn't think of a better one, and once I put it in there it just worked.

Chapter 38

(Note: If you want to, start listening to prelude 12/21 or Endlessly She Said both by AFI right when Edward goes to look for Aaron after talking to Kate)

"Please, please, just stay here." I begged with Bella. As we stood in her doorway.

"I will, I promise. Just be safe." She said, going on her tip toes to kiss me on the cheek.

"I always am." I said.

"No your not." she laughed.

I finally walked out the door and to the car. I drove back to the house, and started to run east, quickly. I was about twenty miles from La Push when I heard singing.

"Maybe someday we’ll figure all this out. We’ll put an end to all our doubt. Trying to find a way to just feel better now." I followed the voice closer to La Push. I saw Kate sitting in a really tall singing and looking out for Aaron. "And maybe someday we’ll live our lives out loud, we’ll be better off somehow, someday. Well sometimes we don’t really notice just how good it can be."

"Hey," I said climbing up the tree and standing on the branch closest to her, "What’re you singing?"

"A Rob Thomas song, me and Aaron were the only ones, not really ever sure about our lots in life you know? When it got to be to much we’d just sing it. It used to help him a lot, but maybe not so much anymore. Still helps me though." She explained.

"What do you think happened to him?" I asked, more worried about Kate then Aaron, really.

"I don’t know, I really hope nothing bad. Go south from here will you? I’ll go north."

"Sure," I said and we both streaked away looking or any sign of Aaron. It didn’t take long for me to hear the sounds of a fight, coming from behind me where Kate had gone. Sprinting back, I found the rest of my family, as well as Aaron all huddled around a clearing. Aaron had Bridget by the throat and looked like he was struggling to move his hand.

"What’s happened?" I asked out loud hoping someone would answer me, they all seemed so concentrated on the pair on the far side of the clearing.

"Aaron got a hold of Bridget, we heard her scream and we all came rushing here, Aaron is trying to snap her neck, but Kate’s restraining him, you know? With the telekinesis thing." Alice replied quickly. "But they’re across the treaty line, were just barely staying across it." That’s why no one had moved closer to help, I realized as I saw the obvious distance between Aaron, Bridget, and the rest of us.

"If we don’t get a hold of this soon, the wolves are going to show." Emmett muttered.

"Too Late." Kate said loudly as the hulking figures, of mutant dogs came walking out of the forest. The whole Pack was here they filled up nearly all of the clearing on their side of the line, and more some. Many wolves were staying behind in the trees to either side.

We all watched each other carefully, ready to spring, if one chose to attack the other was ready to defend. Paul took no time at all before, jumping into action, springing at Aaron and Bridget. Ready to rip both of their heads off.

Kate moved in a blur, sprinting across treaty lines and grabbing Bridget from Aaron with one hand and flinging the other out to stop Paul. She through Bridget back over the line to Maxi. And helped pick Paul up off the ground.

They’ve crossed the line. Sam thought at me.

"We know." Both Kate and I answered. Sam was startled and quickly turned his head to look at Kate.

So this is your sister Edward. What are you doing across the line? He thought at Kate.

We’re having… family issues," Kate said. "Please allow us to settle it back across the line. Without starting a war, I’m very sorry for having to hurt your brother." She said directly to Sam.

I’m not hurt! Paul though incredulously, but mentally winced, as a shooting pain went through is ribs. Oh, ow… okay maybe I am.

Kate smiled slightly and apologized, offering to ask Carlisle to look at his ribs.

Why is the fighter not moving? Seth asked looking at Aaron.

"Oh right, well that has something to do with Kate." I told them scratching the back of my head.

"Okay!" Alice said from behind me, "So very sick of this, could you guys please, transform so we can hear what your saying."

The wolves stalked back into the shadows, and came back a second later as humans.

"Like I said before, Can we just walk out of this without starting a war?" Kate repeated.

"The only War that’s needed is between you and the fighter, I believe, we’ll go." Sam said moving back with the pack.

"Sam." A few wolves protested, mainly Paul and Leah.

"No we’ll leave, they meant us no harm, and they have it under control." Sam argued with them as they walked out of sight.

"That went well." Emmett said. Kate turned to look at him, lost her concentration, and Aaron lunged.
