There's a new girl in the town of Forks, she's smart, musical and down to earth. Sound like anyone we know? So what happens when she meets the Cullens? ES FINITO! Also some people haven't realized this, I changed the title of this from, 'A New Point of veiw' to it's current title 'Afterlife'. Sorry for the confusion! Also in this and all of my other stories the pictures do not belong to me I don't claim them in any way what so ever and I put who does own them in the chapter. Don't sue me please.colorful-12.gif image by Erka_03Someone left me a review with a banner! I was so happy but then my mouse got knocked and the review got deleted. So if you are that amazing person who made me a banner, can you please try and put it in another review? I would be eternally greatfull.

I own none of the characters in the fabulous Twilight Saga. The rest however are figments of my imagination. For anyone who knows me I picked the name for the main character because I couldn't think of a better one, and once I put it in there it just worked.

Chapter 8

Bella and I were holding hands in the park surrounded by the teenaged population of Forks. The band was finally playing down here. Alice had come up to me earlier in the week.

Flash Back

"Edward! Edward! They’re here. They got moved here." Alice screamed at me as she burst though the door. "I can’t believe it! Kate gave this to me herself!"

"Alice what are you talking about?" I asked wary.

"The Blood traitors! Actually the Freedom Fighters, they changed the name. They’re playing this Saturday," she said excited. "Look here’s a poster."

I read it quickly, and grasped what she was talking about. "Cool, we can all go." I said happily. Bella was refusing to go anywhere that costs a lot of money, and I was wondering when I could take her to a concert.

"Yep, and we can see if they’ll play at the wedding! I’ll go tell the others!" She had said skipping upstairs.

End Flash Back

The band was setting up on stage when I turned to Bella she smiled at me and looked back to the stage.

"Testing, testing," said a strange accent. It was the Kate girl. "Alright here it goes, we are happy to be here in the town of-"

"Silverware!" screamed the guitarist.

"Right, Maxi I doubt they want they’re town to be made fun of." She said keeping a strait face. Even as the other two were choking back laughs. Some of the crowd laughed too. Many of the people were just waiting to get out of this tiny little town.

"My apologizes, he’s a bit bitter. Anyways our band is known for how we take suggestions from the crowd. But we are determined to bring some fun to this town so we’re gonna give you a choice, so the people of forks can dance!!! Alright, either you can tell us which songs to play and we’ll write them down," she said as the guy Maxi brandished a piece of paper. "Or we’ll just play songs like a normal band would."

"Can you do that?" Someone from the crowd yelled.

"We are perfectly cable of playing random songs, thanks very much." She said teasing the guy a little.

Everyone in the crowd laughed including me. I looked at Jasper to see if he was causing it. He shook his head and pointed up to the Kate girl. It’s her, he thought, his eyes wide.

"Well it looks like you’ve answered our question; Maxi wants to prove you wrong now. One, two, three, four."

Pain, without love
Pain, I can't get enough
Pain, I like it rough
'Cause I'd rather feel pain than nothing at all

You're sick of feeling numb
You're not the only one
I'll take you by the hand
And I'll show you a world that you can understand
This life is filled with hurt
When happiness doesn't work
Trust me and take my hand
When the lights go out you will understand

Pain, without love
Pain, I can't get enough
Pain, I like it rough
'Cause I'd rather feel pain than nothing at all
Pain, without love
Pain, I can't get enough
Pain, I like it rough
'Cause I'd rather feel pain than nothing at all

Anger and agony
Are better than misery
Trust me I've got a plan
When the lights go off you will understand
