You and Me

Summary:
Bella, Edward, and the rest of the crew are fifteen. When the Cullens move to Forks, everyone falls in the normal teenage routine. Except Edward. He can't seem to fit in any where. Until he meets a group of people who except him. Including Bella Swan, a quite, beautiful girl that he seems to be falling in love with. AU ITS FINISHED! I changed the title name, from Same Faces Different Circumstances to You and Me. If you listen to the song You and Me by Lifehouse you'll understand why. 102k212.jpg Converse love image by holli1018The picture in this story and the rest of my stories, are NOT mine! The people who they belong to are in the chapter notes!

Notes:
This idea just kind of poped into my head. The whole story will be in Ed's POV I think I might make one in Bella's or Cat's. I hope you like it!

3. Music Class

I went strait to the classroom, what else was I going to do sit like a loner on the grass? Like that was going to happen I was already an outcast lets not shoot for loner too.

The teacher was really nice I told him I was new and I couldn’t find a table. He said I could stay and wait for class to start. The classroom was huge Band equipment in the back. Then a large space was put aside where students put there own equipment, you could tell because there was already a few instruments there with student’s names on them. There was one with Cat’s name on it too, it was covered with stickers.

Ten minutes later the bell rang and kids started piling in, including Bella, Cat, and the two boys that were waiting for them. One of the guys waved to a group by the drums and walked over to them. As soon as she saw me, Cat walked over to where I was sitting.

“Hey kid!” she said over the noise, “You’re the kid who laughed right? Congrats on not conforming.”

“Um, thanks?” I said, weird people don’t usually walk strait up to the new guy, and even weirder they sat down next to me to wait until class started Bella, turned to me and asked about where I moved from. We spent the class talking about Chicago.

Then the teacher walked in and announced that it was group or circle day something of that sort. It must have been a good thing though because the whole class cheered. Bella and Cat got up and went to sit in a circle like the rest of the class was doing.

“Come on,” Shane the guy who was with them said, “we have to get in a circle.” We went to go sit bye the other two.

“Alright,” the teacher said, “who shall we start with today?” He pulled a name out of a hat, and said the name of the student he picked. She was only a few seats away from Bella who gulped nervously.

“You’ll do fine,” Cat whispered to her. I raised my eyebrows at Shane. He just shook his head at me and mouthed you’ll see at me. The girl, who got her name pulled out of the hat, caught the cord the teacher threw at her. It was attached to a complicated looking stereo next to Mr. Stefan’s desk. She plugged her Ipod into it.

Once the song started playing the girl started singing along to it. She wasn’t that bad when she was done everyone clapped, then she past the cord to the person next to her. I finally got it everyone was going around in a circle and singing a song off they’re Ipods. I got mine out and tried to find a song that I could sing.

I stopped when I heard the most beautiful voice in the world. My head spun around so fast I got a crick in my neck. It was Bella. It was her turn to sing.

This town is colder now, I think it's sick of us
It's time to make our move, I'm shaking off the rust
I've got my heart set on anywhere but here
I'm staring down myself, counting up the years
Steady hands, just take the wheel...
And every glance is killing me
Time to make one last appeal... for the life I lead

Stop and stare
I think I'm moving but I go nowhere
Yeah I know that everyone gets scared
But I've become what I can't be, oh
Stop and stare
You start to wonder why you're here not there
And you'd give anything to get what's fair
But fair ain't what you really need
Oh, can you see what I see

They're trying to come back, all my senses push
Untie the weight bags, I never thought I could...
Steady feet, don't fail me now
Gonna run till you can't walk
Something pulls my focus out
And I'm standing down...

Stop and stare
I think I'm moving but I go nowhere
Yeah I know that everyone gets scared
But I've become what I can't be, oh
Stop and stare
You start to wonder why you're here not there
And you'd give anything to get what's fair
But fair ain't what you really need
Oh, you don't need

What you need, what you need...

Stop and stare
I think I'm moving but I go nowhere
Yeah I know that everyone gets scared
But I've become what I can't be
Oh, do you see what I see...

Her voice was… wow. I looked at Shane wide-eyed. He smiled and nodded at me getting the message.

After everyone clapped he whispered “Yeah I know, Bella’s great, Cat and her are the best in the class. They don’t think so though.”

Cat was next; she looked through her Ipod trying to find a song that she could sing. Her eyes lit up when she found one she hit play and started to sing.

Forfeit the game
Before somebody else
Takes you out of the frame
Puts your name to shame
Cover up your face
You can't run the race
The pace is too fast
You just won't last

You love the way I look at you
While taking pleasure in the awful things you put me through
You take away if I give in
My life
My pride is broken

[Chorus:]
You like to think you're never wrong
(You live what you've learned)
You have to act like you're someone
(You live what you've learned)
You want someone to hurt like you
(You live what you've learned)
You want to share what you have been through
(You live what you've learned)

You love the things I say I'll do
The way I hurt myself again just to get back at you
You take away when I give in
My life
My pride is broken

[Chorus]

Forfeit the game
Before somebody else
Takes you out of the frame
Puts your name to shame
Cover up your face
You can't run the race
The pace is too fast
You just won't last

[Chorus]

[Chorus:]
You like to think you're never wrong – Forfeit the game
(You live what you've learned)
You have to act like you're someone – Forfeit the game
(You live what you've learned)
You want someone to hurt like you – Forfeit the game
(You live what you've learned)
You want to share what you have been through
(You live what you've learned)

She was really good too, not as good as Bella was though. I couldn’t stop looking at her, for some reason. Shane noticed, “Hey your turn to sing Edward,” he told me. I looked at my Ipod again, looking for a song I could sing
