Jacob quickly left to get the rest of the werewolves. We all sat there waiting for him to come back. But after thirty minutes with out no sign of the werewolves, we started to loose hope.

“I don’t think he’s coming back,” Beck muttered. She looked at the clock in the room and sighed. “I knew that it was too easy. He’s probably meeting wit that demon right now,” she said quietly. Anger suddenly bombarded me. Beck was shaking violently. “Let’s just see how welcome he is in Heaven after this!” She yelled angrily. She marched into another room and we all heard a crash. We all didn’t want to know what suffered the wrath of Beck. I tried out Jasper’s power and tried to send calming waves to her. “It’s not going to work, Bella!” Beck called from the living room. I sighed and leaned on Edward’s shoulder.

“What can we do?” I asked quietly. I saw no solution. Jonathan could spend forever trying to kill me and I wouldn’t be able to kill him. Just my luck. Only I could get myself caught up in an two impossible wars. I just hoped that the werewolves would just go home. I didn’t think that I could deal with them at the moment.

“I’m sure we’ll think of something,” Edward whispered back. Or at least I hope so…I’m not going to watch Bella be killed by those monsters…If Black even touches her-

“You know I can hear your thoughts,” I said quickly. Edward opened his mouth and then closed it, deciding not to respond.

“Bella, do you know the intensity of this situation,” Edward said quickly.

“Yes, I do. You seem to forget that I had to suffer through days of running and fighting Jonathan before you showed up,” I said a little acidly. Edward looked away and I could feel the shame and hurt radiating off his body. I felt guilty for making him feel that way but…he did leave me.

A loud ringing cut off my train of thought. Beck mumbled something under her breath and opened her cell phone which appeared out of thin air.

“Hello?” she said irritated. “What?…No! You can’t be serious!…What do you mean I have to move on to someone else?…But Jonathan is still trying to kill her!…She can’t take care of herself! Do you forget that he is a demon?…He can’t die!…No she can‘t!…The werewolves-…” Beck looked at her phone. The dial tone filled the house and she slowly closed it. It disappeared and she looked at me with sad eyes. “Bella…I…I’m being reassigned,” she said quietly.

“What?” I asked confused. What did she mean. Was she…No!

“I-I’m not your guardian angel anymore,” she said angrily. “Because you are now a vampire, they want me to move on to someone else! They said that the demons won’t linger in you any longer, but I know Jonathan! He won’t give up! I don’t know what to do!” Beck said panicked. I ran over to her and put my hands on her shoulders.

“Beck, it’s going to be alright! I can take care of myself!” I said encouragingly. I was sure that Jasper could feel the hopelessness coming off me. But if he did, he didn’t say anything. Beck nodded and looked at the ground.

“Bye, Bella,” she said quietly. She gave me a short hug before she was gone. I sat on the ground and buried my face in my hands. I heard footsteps behind me and then felt Edward’s soothing arms around me.

“It’s going to be alright, Bella,” he said confidently.

“I know you’re lying,” I said. I could feel his doubt.

“You’re right. I have no idea of what’s going to happen. But Bella,” he turned me around so I faced him. “I will never let anything happen to you,” he said. I smiled. I knew he wasn’t lying. I hugged him tightly and he kissed the top of my head. I heard a thump, most likely Emmett jumping up and onto the floor.

“Now, let’s kick some demon ass!” Emmett yelled excitedly. I laughed at that even though it was incredibly hopeless. Anyone could count on Emmett to lighten the mood.

I sighed and let my head fall on Edward’s shoulder. I felt myself slipping away. Before I knew it, I was lost in a vision.

Five werewolves surrounded a red haired vampire. They all moved in for the kill. I couldn’t help to notice that the red werewolf looked angrier then the rest. But before anyone of them could leap onto Victoria, a cloud of black smoke filled the air. The werewolves looked around confused. None of them could understand how much danger they were in. As if to prove my point, two figures appeared in the darkness. Before I knew it, the werewolves were surrounded by three evil figures. All five wolves looked around confused. That’s when the massacre started.

I came back into reality screaming.

“They’re going to kill them!” I screamed. I started to run for the door but Edward held me back.

“What did you see Bella?” he asked worried. Jasper sent calming waves to me, but I didn’t feel them.

“Bella! I couldn’t see anything except for the demons and Victoria. Did you see more?” Alice asked. I nodded and tried to calm down.

“I saw the werewolves,” I said quietly. Alice looked confused. Then she cursed under her breath.

“I didn’t see them,” she said acidly. That fact seemed to bug her.

“Why did I see them then?” I asked very confused.

“Maybe because you were so close to them in your human life, and you still are. The connection you have with them probably effected your power,” Carlisle said wisely. I nodded in understanding.

“What do we do now?” I asked eagerly. Would we help them? I doubted that anyone except for me would like that idea.

“I say we wait,” Edward said slowly. He must have read Alice’s mind and put the pieces of the vision together.

“But they will all die!” I yelled. I looked around the room anxiously.

“You mean the werewolves?” Emmett asked confused. He was obviously wondering why I cared so much about them.

“Why should we help them?” Rosalie asked furiously. I looked at each face around the room. Everyone seemed to agree with Rosalie. They wouldn’t help the werewolves, so it was up to me. Before Alice could see a vision or before anyone could stop me, I was running out the door and into the forest.
