Bella's story

I actually wrote this in June on another fan site, but they ended up shutting down, and I wanted to continue it. This is my idea of how Bella should be turned into a vampire. She and Edward are engaged, but then another problem shows up in teh form of a stalker.

We were walking into a small little chapel, just Edward, myself, and of course Alice. Originally, when she first got the vision of me standing in my sweats, she freaked out, thinking I was ditching her whole idea of the magical wedding. But once I explained it to her , she had completely understood. Then she squealed like a maniac when I asked her to be my maid of honor.

Edward had decided to wear jeans, and a button up, white, cotton shirt with light blue stripes. He looked utterly gorgeous, standing up next to the priest. Alice gave me away, she wore jeans and a violet, silk shirt. It was a halter top with that drapered around the neck. Her pixie hair was flipped up and she had a thin violet headband holding it all in place. I on the other hand, wore my favorite navy blue sweats with black slide ons and a lighter blue crew neck over a medium blue camisole. My chocolate layers curled down my back and framed my face.

Alice walked me down the short aisle and gave me away to her brother. Over all it was a short ceremony, but everything about it was perfect, especially our first kiss. Even though originally, I was hesitant about accepting the ring, it's really grown on me. It was a gorgeous ring; the band twists up to where the sphere of tiny facets of diamonds are held. The fact that it was his mother's ring made it infinitely more precious. I kept staring at it as we drove to a secluded park. Alice had decided to give us some privacy and had gone off on her own little shopping expediture.

"So, are we going to tell everyone when we get back?" he murmured, kissing my hair. I immediately shook my head. "Why?" he asked obviously confused.

"I don't want them to get mad. I wanted this to be for me and you. You know, getting married without all of the chaos." I leaned my chin onto his shoulder looking up at him. "Do you understand what I mean?" I asked.

"No, not really, but it doesn't matter. I never understand you." He teased, I threw him a hurt look, and began to pull away. "Oh no you don't" he said, attempting to pin me in his arms. But he seemed to have forgotten my new found strength. I tackled him and we began rolling down a hill. I ended up pinning him at the bottom.

"Who's stronger now?" I asked triumphantly. Instantly, he flipped me over onto my back and grinned.

"Not you" he replied. I smirked as I pushed him off, and sat up.

"I just let you win" I said daringly.

"Oh, did you now?" he asked mockingly. I nodded. "So, is there away to settle the score Mrs. Cullen?"

"Ah, what makes you think we'll be changing my name? Mr. Swan is sooo much better, don't you think?" I asked cheekily. "I mean, it's just has a much beter ring to it. Mr. Edward Swan..." my voice trailed off, as he narrowed his eyes at me, in such a way that I knew that my only chance was to run. I darted away, within a blink of an eye, and before I had a chance to get anywhere, his arms had encircled my waist. I was trapped with no where to go, not that I would want to anyways.

"I believe that I just won that argument." he murmured into my ear. I turned in his arms and mine slid to his neck.

"I don't believe that there ever was an argument." I answered, meeting his kiss. "But if there was, I'd win." I smirked, until he began tickling me. I squealed until he finally released me.

Eventually we met up with Alice again, and sure enough she was loaded down with shopping bags.

"Alice did you rob a mall?" Edward asked smirking. She immedieately threw all her bags at him.

"Why yes." she answered smiling sweetly. She linked arms with me as we meandered back to the porshe. Edward struggled with putting all of Alice's bags in the trunk, while we simply hopped into the car. Alice drove in the car and I decided to sit with Edward in the back. I eventually drifted off to sleep, quite content, nestled in his arms.

We eventually arrived back in Forks, to my dismay. After pulling up, Edward began pulling out various bags out of the trunk. We laughed as he grumbled at Alice for being so addicted to shopping.

"But this is what you're here for!" she whined. "Bella, tell him what a great bag carrier he is!" I began smirking as I nodded.

"Yes, Edward you are very talented---WHAT THE?" I yelled jumping. Edward was over to me in a blink of the eye.

"Bella, love what is it? What''s wrong?" he asked, panicking.

"It felt like a cricket just ran across my stomach." Edward's eyes clouded over with confusion, as Alice squealed with delight.

"Let me feel!!" She yelled shoving Edward out of the way. "Bella, that was the baby kicking." I smiled and added my own hands to my stomach.

"Wow, that is soo cool." I said. "Edward come here." He approached me slowly, and I placed his wrist on my stomach. After a second or two he shivered. He stared at me in awe. "I know." i whispered. We walked into the house to share the news with the rest of the family, only to run into Saria.

"Edward, darling where have you been?" she cooed. "I've missed you so much." Alice and I grimaced as Edward took a step behind me. I looked at Alice, shooting her a glance saying, I'm not going to protect you.' she began giggling at his uncomforable posture.

"Why don't you and Saria go into the study?" I suggested. She apparently adored this idea as she dragged him down the hall. I smirked, and turned back to Alice, about to ask what she wanted to do, when the doorbell rang. She hurried to open it, growling.

"What do you want?" she hissed. I craned my neck to see whom it was that she was talking to.

"I need to speak to Bella." Jacob. What was he doing here? "Please...Alice." he managed to muster. Surprisingly, she let him inside, and then motioned to the sofa.

"Jacob, what's going on?" I asked, shocked that he would come to the Cullen's property.

"Bells, you're going to need to sit down." he said, in a low voice, one full of remorse. I did as he advised, fearing what he was about to say.

"Jacob what's going on?" I asked hesitantly.

"It's Charlie." he said, as my heart plummetted. "He was in a car accident on the way back from the super bowl." I couldn't breathe, let alone ask whether he was going to be fine or if he would need surgery. "Bells, he didnt' make it." I sank to the floor, howling. Why did this have to happen? Jake put his arms around me, and I clung to him, unable to move, unable to do anything comprehensive.

But sadly after that things only got worse.

"WHAT THE? WHY IS THAT DOG HERE?" Saria screamed. But once again, before anyone could answer her question, she hurtled herself in the air towards us. Jake tried to push me away, but I held my ground and threw her back the other way, almost throwing her into Edward in the process. She picked herself up seething. "You would protect that thing?" she spit. "We're sworn enemies and yet you stand there defending him?"

"He's my best friend!" I yelled. "Like I would allow you to hurt him?" she screeched as she launched herself at me once more. Jake tried to shove himself between the two of us again, but Alice dragged him back.

"No!" she hissed. "This is Bella's fight." Jacob looked rather confused, and upset. I knew that this wasn't making any snese to him. Saria eventually did gain the upper hand though. I felt myself as I was thrown back by her body weight into a wall. I clutched my stomach, praying that the baby was okay. By this time I was seething. As she went back into yet another crouch, I waited for her to dive through the air. Immediatly, I froze her, and then sent her flying backwards, she flew through a few walls, landing outside in the field behind the house.

"You are banished from this house!" I screamed. Her eyes filled with a mixture of fear and shock, she slowly stood up, and faced me.

"You don't have the authority!" she hollered back. "You're just a distant cousin!" she paused, apparently for dramatic effect. "I'm his fiance!" I simply held up my hand, knowing that she would be able to see it.

"Yet I have the ring." I whispered. She howled in pain, as if she were being stabbed by a thousand swords, and then being ripped apart by the jaws of a thousand hounds. I hated that it had to come to this, but it was inevitable. I drifted back into the house, and began to noticing all the gaping holes that were in the walls. Emmett and Jasper began clapping immediately, while Jacob looked extremely confused and hurt.

"Bells, how did you do that?" he whispered. I looked at my stomach, and placed my hands there.

"Jacob, it is extremely complicated, care to go for a drive?" he nodded and then I looked at Edward. He also nodded, however quite reluctantly. I caught the keys to Alice's porshe as she tossed them to me from across the room. Jacob followed me to the car and I hit the gas immediately.

"Bells what on earth is going on and who was that?" he asked incredulously. I took a deep breath.

"Jake, this is going to be incredibly hard to believe and you need to keep your emotions in check. You are not to interupt either! Understand?"

"I am a vampire. No, the treaty was not broken, no one bit me. I do not have thirst, I eat normal, human food, therefore, my eyes are neither gold, red, or black. None of us know how this occured, not even Carlisle. I have the looks, the talents, and strenght of a regular vampire. Basically, all the pros without the cons."

"This doesn't make any sense, Bella." I grimaced.

"You're not going to like the next part any more." He looked at me, daring me to spill. "I'm pregnant." I heard his sharp intake of breath. "Calm down Jake."

"When?" he breathed. I sighed, and shook my head.

"No idea. This situation isn't exactly normal you know." he let out a hollow laugh, and nodded.

"Yeah I'll bet. So, as for the other one, who was that?"

"That was Saria." I spit out the name. "She fell for Edward in the early nineteen hundreds apparently. Kind of like an immortal stalker." jacob began chuckling at my last sentence. "She was here planning their wedding."

"Oh, so is he going to marry her?" he asked innocently.

"That would be rather difficult seeing as we're already married." I answered softly. He made a strangled noise. "I'm sorry Jake, but you knew this was inevitable." I glanced over him, as he stared at his lap.

"I just....I had hoped....you know."

"Yeah. But Jake, I love him, and now there's a baby." I swiftly pulled over, "I guess, I"m not alowed on La Plush anymore?" I asked, hesitantly.

"Bells, you will always be able to come visit with me. I mean, you're not really one of them. You don't have the thirst, or the scent for that matter." I smiled, leaning over to give him a hug.

"I'm going to get out here Bells," I nodded and unlocked the doors. "Congrats Bella, and I"m truly sorry about Charlie.

Charlie. A sharp sob entered my throat. I hit the accelorator and in seconds I was in front of my house. I ran upstairs and threw open his door. I froze staring blankly at the room in its normal state. I slid down to my knees, as tears poured into my eyes. I was there for maybe three seconds, even though it felt like an eternity, before two arms enclosed me.

"Bella it'll be alright." Edward's velvet voice murmured in my ear as he gently rocked me in his arms. I buried my face into his chest, sobbing loudly. Eventually, we moved into my room, but I hardly noticed the change. How could Charlie be gone? How?

We got married in August, just six weeks after the news of Charlie's death had reached us. Alice had worn a lavender dress; it was identical to the silk top she had worn to our original wedding, except it flaired out into a coctail dress, ending at her calves. Her hair was was piled up ontop of her head with a lavander ribbon intertiwined into her curls. Angela matched her as well, as they stood up next to us.

I had worn the vintage wedding dress that Alice had designed for me. It was a lacy halter top that clung to an ivory bodice. This then flowed overtop of a creamy white skirt, opening in front, and overlaying in the back. My hair was swept up in a French twist with one ringlet dangling down my left shoulder, with my bangs framing my face. I wore satin flats underneath the floor length dress. Alice of course wanted heels, but seeing as no one would see my feet, I felt that it would be best, for balance and comfort to wear ballet flats; that had ivory sequins. Overall they reminded me ver much of cinderella's glass slippers.

Edward wore a tuxedo with a lavender dress shirt. It was Alice's idea, she enforced the outfit, with the reasoning that they had to match the bride's maid dresses. Jasper and Emmett stood up with him, as we recieted our vows. Because Charlie couldn't give me away, Carlilse asked for the honor. I had immediately began crying with happiness when he asked, immediately accepting. The morning of the wedding, was gorgeous, full of sunshine and for once not raining. The large patio had been transformed into a dance floor and several round tables had surruounded it, with a long rectangular one bordering the north side. These tables all had lavender table cloths with silver place settings. There were also six pillars outlining the dance floor, draped with satin, silver, canopy. It was gorgeous, despite my intial reaction of thinking that it was too much. Alice had began getting me ready at about eight am that morning, even though the wedding was not until five. The service itself would take place before the stone fireplace in the family room of the Cullen's home.

"Bella!! We're not finished!" Alice hollered as I walked downstairs, in my sweat pants and hoody. "You have to get ready!" I grimaced as I rummaged through the fridge searching for something to eat. "Bella what are you doing?"

"I'm going to eat something now, that way I don't ruin my dress." I answered, closing the fridge. "Where's the phone?" I asked. She looked at me blankly as she tossed her cell phone in the air. "I need some Arby's" after I had called Edward to bring me some, I allowed Alice to resume my make up. Immediately after she had finished, Edward arrived, kissing me on the lips.

"You look gorgeous." He whispered handing me the food, before Alice shoved him out the door, while shouting about something to do with bad luck.

She finally had me completely dressed around three-thirty. "Wow." was all she could manage. I smiled as I stared in the mirror at reflection. I was finally up to Edwards level. I actually felt beautiful. The wedding was about in an hour and a half, but I decided to go ahead and go outside. I felt like I was gliding, whenever I walked, the dress rustling with each step. When I had gotten outside, it was silent, I stepped out onto the patio, and began meandering through the various tables, leading to the dance floor. When I had reached it, I twirled around, and then all of a sudden, Edward had caught my hand. I smiled in pure happiness.

"Bella, you look utterly amazing." He murmured into my ear as he began twirling me around the pillars. I was soo absored into his eyes, that I didn't even realize there was music playing.

"You don't look so bad yourself." I whispered back, laying my head against his shoulder. We continued dancing, until we heard a loud crash, ensuing from the porch door.

"Edward! Bella! WHAT ARE YOU TWO DOING?" Alice screeched. We both came to a halt and stared at her.

"Um..dancing?" I replied, confused. "Why?"

"Because for one, it's bad luck for the groom to see the bride before the wedding--" she cut me off, as I held up my left hand. "Besides, you have ten minutes before people start to arrive." I looked up at him in surprise.

"You're not quite used to how quickly time seems to fly for us." He said, answering my silent look on my face. "I shall see you later though." He reminded me grinning. I allowed Alice to tow me back inside, and found that Angela was sitting in her room.

"Hey Ang, when did you get here?" I asked.

"About an hour ago. Where have you been?" she asked coyly.

"With Edward" I replied, a faint blush appearing at my cheeks.

"Isn't that supposed to be against tradition?" she asked grinning. I shrugged.

"My wedding." I replied. Both of them errupted into laughter, at my nonchalant answer.

"That's true." she agreed. "Bella you look gorgeous!" she said giving me a tight squeeze.

"Thank you. So do you." I replied smiling. She shook her long curls at me, with a grin.

"Bells, you are going to outshine everyone. Including Alice." At this, Alice shot us a look.

"Hey, this is true." she agreed, "And it is very hard to outshine me." she said, flashing a grin. We all chortled at this, and then Alice jumped. "Oh we're going to be late. Come on!" We filed out of the room behind, her. In the hallway, Carlilse was waiting.

"You look perfect." he said, happiness etched in his eyes. I murmured thanks while leaning in to give him a hug. At that moment, the music started. Alice and Angela began down the stairs, which was the start of the aisle, and after a moment of two, the music changed, cuing me and Carlisle. Within a few moments, which seemed, to take forever, because we were going "human" speed, I caught sight of Edward. My breath caught, as I stared into his eyes. A mixture of pure happiness, and love had enveloped them, and were drowning me.

At the alter, we joined hands, and turned to the priest, our eyes, never leaving the other's. We said our vows, for the second time and then he gave me the ring again. I readily allowed him to slip it onto my finger and then we kissed. At this, a great cheer went up. We walked back upstairs, and kissed once we had reached his room.

"Hello, Mrs. Cullen." I grinned, and met his kiss, and then after it ended,

"I thought we'd already discussed this, Mr. Swan." he tickled my chin, kissing me again.

"Whatever you want, Mrs. Cullen." I smiled into his chest as he hugged me tight.

"You always have to have the last word." I began laughing, as he nodded. Eventually Alice arrived to inform us they were ready to take pictures, after that we headed outside for the reception. Immediatly after we all ate, Edward and I were sent out for our first dance. Well, techniquely second dance. I immediately recongnized it as my favorite song; Edwin McCain's "I'll be". Eventually everyone joined in, the dancing after that song had ended. On the Father-Daughter Dance, Carlilse came to tow me out to the middle of the floor.

Everyone began to disperse towards midnight, with Edward and I still dancing in the middle of the floor. After everyone had gone home, he hugged me closer, and began whispering in my ear.

"So did you enjoy yourself?" he murmured.

"Yes, yes I did." I answered back. "We shall have to do this again in about one hundred and fifty years." He chuckled into my hair, as he twirled me around again. This was yet another moment that was added to my top ten, which contained more like fifty.
