Rating 0/5   Word Count 456   Review this Chapter

As Maid of honor I am to give a speech to the lovely couple, Sam and Emily I hope that you live your days in Happiness and hope (Inside head moment: What a load of BS) And stay together until the world ends. As a Wanna be Writer I wrote a poem for the Couple

The Spiraling Trail

I did not know him,Until I came to find myself gazing upon a path,

The likes of which I had never seen.

I turned on to the spiraling trail,

And our Destinies entwined,

And we were forever bonded.

Fall, Peace and Hope.

As we’re striding on the trail for the first time,

We felt great warmth throughout our bodies.

Trees of amber and leaves of gold,

Twirled down to the ground around us.

Sometimes we would go our own way

Sometimes we would go together onto the spiraling trail.

And as the darkness grew around us.

We looked to the horizon

To watch the sunset

Wishing it was not the last.

Winter, Suspense and Joy.

The snow crunched beneath our feet as we treaded along and we looked up.

The trees were no longer covered in leaves of gold,

But the whitest of snow,

And we walked on.

Sometimes we would go our own way,
Sometimes we would go together,

Sometimes there would be three of us hand in hand on the spiraling trail.

We would come across a place that would burn like fire

The air filled with loathing, pain, hatred and anger.

But still, we walk on, together.

Spring, Life and Love.

The morning dew sparkled,

In the glimmering reflection of the sunrise.

The trees were no longer filled with the whitest of snow.

But of buds that opened before our eyes.

Sometimes we would go our own way

Sometimes we would go together.

Sometimes there would be three of us hand in hand

Sometimes there were four of us, laughing and talking of our dreams.

When we would look off into the distant,

To hear the hummingbirds sing,

We would stop from our stroll and fall silent.

Summer, Choice and Change.

We walk alone the two of us,The family’s gone and on their own.

But we stand here hand in hand

Still holding each other,

Like the day went onto the path as complete strangers

Sometimes we would go our own way

Sometimes we would go together.

Sometimes there would be three of us.

Sometimes there would be four of us.

But,Most of the time there was only two.

Our marriage is as strong as the day we got married.

As we ambled along the spiraling trail.

The trees turned to amber and the leaves turned to gold.

(BS it all what I really wanted to say is on the next page) Thank you for everything that you have done. To the girl who is (Was) my sister Emily and The man who has always been their for me (until he ripped my hart out) you are meant for each other. To the new husband and Wife
