Gotta hold on easy as I let you go.
Gonna tell you how much I love you, though you think you already know.
I remember I thought you looked like an angel wrapped in pink so soft and warm.
You've had me wrapped around your finger since the day you were born.

Edward hated having to let her go. But she needed her independence.

He was always telling her how much he loved her, even though she already knew.

He remembers when she was born. The minute he had even glimpsed at her she had him wrapped around her finger. She was that way with everyone.

You're beautiful baby from the outside in.
Chase your dreams but always know the road that'll lead you home again.
Go on, take on this whole world.
But to me you know you'll always be, my little girl.

Renesmee was gorgeous. Even as a baby she was. Both outside and in.

She was always doing what she wanted too no matter what it was. If she had to leave. She left. She wanted her dreams to come true.

Edward and Bella always supported her decisions.

Edward told her the same thing every time she left, “You’re still my little girl.”

When you were in trouble that crooked little smile could melt my heart of stone.
Now look at you, I've turned around and you've almost grown.
Sometimes you're asleep I whisper "I Love You!" in the moonlight at your door.
As I walk away, I hear you say, "Daddy Love You More!".

Oh there were so many times that Renesmee had gotten in trouble. Like that one time she didn’t get a math problem so she completely destroyed her room.

“Well young lady?” Bella had asked. Renesmee had said nothing only turned to her father and smiled.

“Damn it.” Edward had mumbled knowing that she was no longer in trouble.

One moment she was a lovely little girl and the next she was a beautiful teenager. She grew up so fast.

Sometimes when she was asleep, he would stand in the door and whisper “I love you.”

He would turn and walk out only to hear, “Daddy love you more.”

You're beautiful baby from the outside in.
Chase your dreams but always know the road that'll lead you home again.
Go on, take on this whole world.
But to me you know you'll always be, my little girl.

Someday, some boy will come and ask me for your hand.
But I won't say "yes" to him unless I know, he's the half
that makes you whole, he has a poet's soul, and the heart of a man's man.
I know he'll say that he's in love.
But between you and me. He won't be good enough!

Then came the day the Renesmee announced that she had a boyfriend. Jacob Black no less.

Edward never agreed even though he knew Jacob had imprinted on her. But Renesmee insisted that he was her other half.

“He says he loves me.” She had quoted.

“Fine.” Edward finally agreed. But on the inside he knew that Jacob wasn’t good enough for his little girl. It wasn’t that Jacob wasn’t a good man, he was. It was just that Renesmee was his daughter, and he wanted absolute best for her.

You're beautiful baby from the outside in.
Chase your dreams but always know the road that'll lead you home again.
Go on, take on this whole world.
But to me you know you'll always be, my little girl.

Now Edward stood beside his daughter, the most beautiful she had ever been.

“Who gives her up?” The preacher asked.

“I do.” Edward stated bravely.

He slowly handed her over to Jacob.

“I love you.” He whispered.

“Daddy. Love you more.” She whispered back.
