This is my first story so please don't be mean. I already know it's corny. Please review. All of the characters belong to Stephenie Meyer.

“It also seems that she has a gift.” As Jane said that, she looked at me with a smile and I was now scared. “So Bree, you will be coming with us once this is over.”Why does this always happen to me?
“Wh-wh-why? My gift isn’t that cool.” Bree stuttered at Jane, I did feel bad for her. She didn’t get a choice, but, then again, how many of the guard got a choice?
“But I’m sure we could find some way that your gift is useful.” Jane said, it seemed that the Bree subject was distracting Jane from the fight and Sam being hurt.
“I don’t think that it really is that interesting, I just change my appearance.” Bree said trying to change Jane’s mind, it wasn’t working.
“Would you rather die, because that’s your only other option? I would rather you be part of the Volturi because your power is useful, but if you would rather die just say so,” Jane said like she didn’t really care. There was a silence, “well, what’s your answer?” Jane was getting inpatient.
“Why can’t she just stay,” Alice argued, every one looked over to her, then at Jane, then back at Alice. “Well, she should have a choice if she wants to stay with us.” Edward stiffened next to me; he obviously didn’t like the idea of a newborn at their house with me still human.
“I would rather see her dead,” was Jane’s answer. As Jane said that, Bree shrunk as small as she could. “And besides, it might, help you to let us over look this meeting and Bella still being human,” Jane said with a suggestive tone in her voice and a smile on her young face.
“And the wolves visiting?” Edward asked Jane.
There was another long silence, I was getting worried about the wolves, and if Jane would keep to her word. What did vampires have against werewolves? Why did they hate them so much?Bree POV
“Wh-wh-why? My gift isn’t that cool.” I stuttered, now I could see why everyone was so afraid of them. Also, at that point I didn’t think they were the only ones in the Volturi, because if they were, we outnumbered them and could attack.
“But I’m sure we could find some way that your gift is useful.” Jane said, I was getting more nervous each time she said something, her voice was just to innocent.
“I don’t think that it really is that interesting, I just change my appearance.” I was trying to change Jane’s mind, but that was a lie. I change how others are aware of me, that could mean see, smell, and even hear, for the hear thing, I can only make it so you can’t hear me.
“Would you rather die, because that’s your only other option? I would rather you be part of the Volturi because your power is useful, but if you would rather die just say so,” Jane said to me. I didn’t respond, “Well, what’s your answer?” Jane was getting inpatient.
“Why can’t she just stay,” Alice the pixie-like one argued, everyone but me, looked over to her, then at Jane, then back at Alice. My eyes stayed on Jane. “Well, she should have a choice if she wants to stay with us.” Edward went ridged; apparently he didn’t want me anywhere close to him and his mate.
“I would rather see her dead,” Jane said coldly, fear rushed through me and I got as small as I could. “And besides, it might, help you to let us over look this meeting and Bella still being human,” she continued, they were barging with my life for their freedom it was rude, but I couldn’t blame them.
“And the wolves visiting?” Edward asked Jane.
There was a silence as everyone waited for her to respond.
Fate is sealed; I’m off to wherever.Bella POV
“Well, the wolf problem, I don’t really know. Where is the leader of the pack?” Jane asked, to her this all seemed like a game or joke, I didn’t think she was taking it seriously.
“I am, so what do you want to ask?” Jacob asked after being quiet for so long.
“How could you let your pack get in a fight right after they just got in a fight with newborns? Did you ever think that you might have just killed, I believe Sam, isn’t it? Can you explain why you would not think of that?” Jane asked Jacob.
“Look, Sam was mocking the Cullen’s, so he got me mad enough to attack him. And it wasn’t the pack that attacked Sam; it was just me. You also shouldn’t kill us because we all ready lost a pack member in the fight against the newborns.” Jacob said, towards the end Jacob was sounding more and more guilty.
“So, you really are great friends with the Cullen’s, you must really feel bad that almost killed them, and it’s still possible that you killed yourself and your pack.” Jane said trying to get Jacob to admit the real story, like a parent who knows that the kid has really eaten the cookies, and the dog didn’t, though the kid blamed it.
“What do you mean about killing the rest of the pack?” Jacob asked with a worried, yet clueless tone in his voice.
“Well, we are most likely going to kill your pack.” Jane shrugged. I thought of Quil, Seth, Embry, the younger and the rest of the wolves, they didn’t do anything wrong. If Jane didn’t change her mind, then they would all die, they were so you young.
“How else could we bargain for their lives?” my jaw dropped, because it was a vampire that I would never expect to say anything, it was the vampire next to me, Edward. All eyes went to him. His family was just as shocked as me, and Bree didn’t really seem to know what the big deal was.
“They all won’t live, we came to kill something; and we will.” Felix said, then looked around to all of our side of the clearing with a smile that showed the real vampire in his eyes.
“Can you give us some time to discus this? We really need to talk about this issue,” Carlisle asked.
“You can talk about all of this in front of use, can’t you, we promise not to interrupt,” Jane said.
“Well, I think we would rather talk about this in private, this is a very hard topic to talk about already, this would just make it more difficult,” Carlisle responded, he was getting quiet agitated.
“Fine, but remember that Demetri can always track you,” Jane agreed.
Edward picked me up and we accept Bree, all ran to a spot in the middle of the forest that I didn’t recognize. That’s when I saw it, a giant black wolf whimpering in the forest. That was also when I realized the severity of Jacob and Sam’s fight. One of his front paws was twisted, there was a huge chunk of his chest missing, but worst of all was a horrible slash on his neck, I had to look away.
After the sounds of a few movements over the time of a few minuets, Carlisle’s voice said some sad words “he won’t live much longer.”
That’s when I looked at Jacob’s face; it was one of the guiltiest faces I’ve seen.
Meanwhile:Bree POV You could tell that Jane was horrible at being patient; she just kept fidgeting. I wanted to laugh, but I thought that it wasn’t worth the pain. Some of the vampires went to talk to one another, but I noticed that the one, who was called Demetri, was talking to someone else, while Felix was just talking to the fidgeting Jane, and someone else. These were all quiet conversations, so I was stuck sitting bye a tree, seeing shapes in the clouds. “Were leaving, Demetri, Jamie, you stay and watch Bree,” said Jane about ten minutes after the Cullen’s left. So, now it was just three of us. “Bree, come over here,” Demetri called over, why couldn’t Felix have been the one who stayed here. I sighed and walked over. “I’m thinking someone is impatient,” I said. “She just likes to give people pain, so, that’s why she’s impatient,” said the nameless hot vampire. “Oh, bye the way, I’m Jamie Bell.” Jamie was cuter than Felix. I was starting to get a crush on him. He had blond hair, very red eyes, and a face that would melt even an angel’s hart. “I would have never guessed she liked others pain, not with all of the pain she can give,” I responded sarcastically. “That’s why she is kept around,” Demetri said sadly. “Is that why you’re here,” I asked? The funny mood was gone, and we all just sat there quietly for a moment. “Yah, I can track people to the point that I know almost where you exactly are. While Jamie can erase your memories,” Demetri said. “All but my own,” Jamie sighed “but I can also give the memories back. So that can sometimes come in handy.” “How would either of you be useful to the Volturi?” I asked confused. “Well, you see, the Volturi have many enemies, many who they want to kill, and some that they want to know where they are. That’s where I can come in handy. Then, for Jamie, when some vampires don’t want to convert because of someone they knew or something in their life, Jamie can erase that memory, and all of the memories that they have,” Demetri explained to me. “So, Jamie is going to erase my memory if I don’t want to join because of them, or if they make me more depressed about joining?” I asked sadly. “The worst part is, that Aro will know if you once loved someone. Once he knows that, I’ll have to erase all of your memories with him, and possibly all of your memories,” Jamie said with true concern. “So that’s how my life will be, join or die. Always not knowing what happened in my past; just knowing something happened.” If I could I would have been crying. Jamie came over and hugged me while chanting I’m so sorry. “Jamie, we could try, although it could be very dangerous for both of you,” Demetri said to Jamie, what on earth were they talking about. “Bree would have to be able to stand being around me,” Jamie joked, but looked seriously into my eyes. “I think I would survive, but what is the plan?” I responded. “This could get a little dangerous, and you could even die,” Jamie said. “I think I can live through a little more danger. But would you get guys get hurt?” I said. This day just got longer.
