I see what really lies

The pain and hate of time

behind those golden eyes

I see what you want to hide

the strength the speed the sight

behind those golden eyes

I see the love that lies

only to be awoken by

my inevitable demise

behind those golden eyes

I see our life before my

eyes the love the joy

of eternal life together forever

without the lies that were once

Behind those golden eyes

and now all that lies

is love and hope of a new life
