THIS STORY IS COMPLETE!!!!!!! THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO READ & REVIEWED!!!! HOPE TO SEE YOU AT ROUND 2!!!!*~Nymphadora_Cullen~*

Notes:
In case anyone's wondering, in this story, Ana is 17, which means everything is happening now. Bella's been a vampire for two years, and Nessie is, I guess, about the physical representation of a ten or twelve-year-old. Also, I'm planning to do a playlist for this fic. Check the chapter notes to see what music works for each chapter If anyone has any questions, please leave a review.

Chapter 5: Continuation

Shortly after my imprinting with Seth, I met the rest of the Cullens. It was actually more like meeting extended members of my family.

Carlisle Cullen was the father figure of the family; he had, with the exception of Alice, her mate Jasper, and Bella, created the family of vampire I knew today. He had been born in England, and had made his way to America over the centuries since his transformation. He had learned about medicine during his travels, and was one of the greatest doctors the world had ever seen. Not to mention that he put even the most handsome of television doctors to shame with his looks.

Jasper, Alice’s mate, was a quiet figure, “the man in the corner,” as Mom would’ve put it. He was on the edge of things, never a member of the action, or the center of attention. He had the look of a movie star, the one you see in pictures on the Internet, who stares intently at the camera as if he know you’re there, and he’s looking into your soul, the kind of picture that makes girls swoon.

Esme, Carlisle’s mate, was exactly the way a mother should be. She was always there if you needed her, as a friend, or a parent, or even as a shoulder to cry on. She could be counted on to be there for you for just about anything.

Emmett and Rosalie, two members of the Cullen family I had heard of, but didn’t meet for a while after I’d first arrived, were like the stereotypical high school sweethearts; she looked like a cheerleader from a 50’s sitcom show, while he was the football jock who let her wear his jersey and letter jacket on occasion, also know as, every single day. Except she wasn’t a cheerleader, and he didn’t play football. Also, where the cheerleader and jock were arrogant, Rosalie and Emmett were friendly, and were very easy to talk to. Being with Emmett was like being with the fun-loving older brother I should’ve had from the start.

But I wasn’t just friendly with vampires; there were also the wolves.

Jake, Seth, and the rest of the wolf pack lived in La Push, the local Indian Reservation, about 20 minutes from Forks. It didn’t take long for me to realize that being with the La Push werewolves was a different world compared to being with other humans.

First off, they were all red-hot, like a light bulb when its just been turned off. Second, they healed very fast. Leah, Seth’s sister, had tripped and fallen off a rock by the river, skinning her knee. By the time Seth and I had rushed over, her knee was as good as new; there wasn’t even a scratch as a reminder.

Seth and I would always find a way to hang out together. One day, we went to First Beach at La Push, and watched the dolphins while drinking sodas from a paper bag. Afterward, we went to Sam and Emily Uley’s for supper, where it looked a bit like ‘feeding time at the zoo,’ except everyone used silverware, unlike lions, tigers and bears.

One night, I sat with Seth in front of a roaring bonfire while Billy Black, Jacob’s dad, told us the stories of the wolves. Despite having heard them from her parents and Jake, Nessie sat with rapt attention on her pale face, watching Billy tell the story, and occasionally asking Jake questions in her special way of touching him on the cheek.

Seth was a kindred spirit. He took me everywhere, and we did so many things together. I soon took to carrying a camera with me every time we went someplace, and had created a scrapbook of my life with him and the Cullens in it.

My life was perfect, basically. And it couldn’t get any better.
