As Alice Cullen and Angela Weber were escorted up the aisle by their fathers, Jacob Black and Jasper Hale grinned at their respective fiancees- soon to be wives. None of the couples paid attention as the justice of the peace told them their vows.

Jasper looked like he might cry from the joy of it all as he sealed his and Angela’s love with a kiss. Jacob beamed as he said his vows, concentrating only on Alice.

When the ceremony was over, the two brides were absoloutley glowing.

When Alice ate the cake, she couldn’t help but grimace. Angela was a better actress, despite her meager time as a vampire. The first dance, the father- daughter dance, went well. Angela, not having her biological father present, danced with Charlie Swan. Bella was lending him to her for the evening. The rest of the reception passed in a blur for both brides and both grooms, then Alice and Jacob were off to a secluded island in the Bahamas, while Angela and Jasper went to Isle Esme.

Jacob POV

I walked up to the door of the Cullen house, Embry and Quil at my sides. Embry leaned forward and opened the door, then both he and Quil got ready to run. I walked in like I owned the place- and then I saw her. It was like my whole world had been torn away- but that was okay with me. My new world was this girl. This beautiful, short, black- haired girl.

Jasper POV

I heard (and smelled) the werewolves’ approach, surveying the party. My wife was definitely going all out for her best friend’s first graduation. I continued looking around, and then I saw her. The most beautiful girl in the world, bar none. What was her name? I knew it started with an A, but other than that, I was at a loss. I normally could have recalled it, but I was too distracted by her beauty to even try. It was engrossing, so beautiful it was hard to comprehend. I descended the stairs and asked her to dance. She agreed. I led her up the stairs, and into Carlisle’s study. She smiled at me, and I had to kiss her. My lips, of their own accord, moved to her throat, and I realized I hadn’t hunted in nearly a month. I was so thirsty, I bit the beautiful woman and began to drink.

Angela POV

As I danced with Jessica and Ben, Jasper Hale walked up and asked me to dance. I agreed. We danced for a while, then he led me up to a study like room. Wait, wasn’t he dating Alice? Maybe they broke up. I smiled at him, and he got the weirdest look on his face. Suddenly, he leaned in and kissed me. I decided that Jasper was a nice guy who wouldn’t cheat on his girlfriend, so I kissed him back. Then, his lips trailed to my throat and he bit me. His teeth sliced into my skin, and suddenly, the place he’d bitten me was on fire. Not the pleasant kind of fire, like when I was blushing, but the kind of fire like when you burned your hand on the cookie sheet. Except ten times worse. It hurt awfully, but I would not scream. I was going to brave this out, because it wouldn’t be that bad, would it? It would go away- right?

Alice POV

The werewolves opened the door, and everything disappeared. But not before I saw something terrible. Jasper, my Jazz. Biting one of Bella’s human friends. Then I saw, in the present tense, Jacob Black, Bella’s werewolf buddy, staring at me, like I’d just made some kind of great revelation. I quickly turned and ran up the stairs, to Carlisle’s study- but I think I was too late. I couldn’t really tell, because Angela wasn’t screaming, but it seemed, from her face, like she was in a lot of pain. Plus, there was blood dripping from a bite in her neck. I gasped.

“Jasper, what have you done?”
