I slowly walked through the Cullen household door and bounded up the stairs to Edward's room. I could hear some classical music coming from his room. I didn't bother knocking, just walked in.

"Alice," Edward said, slightly aggrivated. I could tell he'd been thinking about something, namely Bella.

"Edward, we need to talk," I said sternly, my hands on my hips. He was silent. "Edward, I went to see Bella today."

He sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. "Alice, I'm not in the mood to talk about this."

"Well I don't care. You know she didn't mean it. How could she? You know Bella too well, and she thought she knew you. Until you left her when she needed you the most."

"She said she was going to kill my child, Alice!" he yelled. "How can I be with a person that said that to my face?!"

I knew what I had to do. I didn't want to, but it was necissary. I went to sit next to him on the black leather couch and began my story.

"Edward, she needs you. I've never told anybody this before, nobody, but last year I got pregnant. It was a complete mistake and I-"

I was cut off. "What? You were pregnant?" Edward looked at me like I had gone mental.

"Yes. It was a first date, I was so stupid, and he pressured me into it.That was my first mistake. The second was telling the father that I was pregnant and he left me. Bastard," I muttered. "Carlisle was the only other person I told, mainly so that he could help me get rid of it. And that was my third mistake."

There was silence, neither of us speaking.

Finally, lastly, I said, "Edward, don't give up on Bella. She needs you, more than you could possibly know."

With that, I got up and left the room.

I have no idea what I am doing. There's no doubt in my mind that I love Bella. And she is pregnant and scared, of course she'll say things she didn't mean. But am I willing to forgive her so soon, even if she didn't mean it?

Yes, the answer is yes. I love her too much to let her go.

I knocked on the door loudly, hoping I wasn't waking her, but then I remembered it was 7 o'clock in the night. Surely she would be awake.

She answered the door as I was still knocking.

"Bella," I breathed.

She didn't say anything, just stood there with her hand on the door.

"Bella, honey, I'm so sorry. I know you didn't mean it, and I was a jerk for leaving yesterday-"

She shut the door in my face.

Fine, if that's how she wants it to be...

I quickly climbed the old maple tree that lead to Bella's room and hoped to God the window was open.

It was. I crawled through the window just as the bedroom door flew open to a tear-streaked Bella. She gasped when she saw me.

"Did you forget that I climb in here every night to stay with you?" I asked her.

She ddn't say anything, but tried to run back out of the room. I caught her around the waist and spun her so that she was facing me. She struggled against my arms, but when she realized she wasn't getting away, she fell into my arms and sobbed.

"Shh, shh, don't cry," I soothed her, rubbing her back while holding her close.

"It's okay, we can talk in the morning," I told her while laying her down next to me under the covers of her bed.

"Edward, don't leave me," she wimpered softly.

"Never again. I love you, Bella," I whispered into her ear, then kissed her forehead. I started humming to her and soon she fell into a deep sleep.
