Mistrust

Summary:
Starts off when Bella finds the meadow in New Moon, Laurent rapes her and bites her when the wolves show up. Now Bella must learn to live with who she is and what's happened to her. Inspired by the story "I am not the PERSON i used to be" by Akasha101, you should totally go check it out, it's super good!!! :) RATED TEEN FOR MATURE SITUATIONS (it's mainly just talked about)

Notes:
Haha, so I just realized that a LOT of my stories happen during New Moon except for like one... and that was the book that bored me the most, well that huge section where Jacob wasn't a werewolf and they were just hanging out (I have nothing against Jacob).

150 YEARS LATER

“Bella, would you drive faster, I’m think I’m getting car sick from driving to slow. I’m pretty sure that’s never happened- to anyone- especially to a vampire.” Analeigh (Anna-Lee) complained from the backseat.

“Fine.” I pushed my foot down on the petal a little harder. “Are you happy now?”

“Yep!” She exclaimed cheerily.

“Hey, are you okay?” Luella cast me a nervous glance from the passenger seat. “You haven’t been acting like yourself lately.”

“I told you,” I replied irritated, “Forks just holds to many memories for me.”

“And I told you that this will give you good closure.” She looked at me with a stern face, after a moment it became sympathetic. “But you know that if it’s too much we’re willing to move right away.”

“Yea, I know, but I’m going to have to do this sometime. Might as well be when I have my sisters with me.” I smiled at them and they returned it.

I remembered how I had originally met them. I was hiding away in the Canadian wilderness somewhere. I was curled up in a ball, trying to hold myself together, when I heard two vampires approaching. I was so scared it was Laurent and Victoria, coming to extract their revenge on me. I tried to hold as still as possible, hoping they would run right by me.

I was surprised when it turned out to be two girls, Analeigh and Luella. They pulled me up from the ground and asked me what was wrong. With out even thinking I told them my whole story, from when I moved to Forks to Laurent and the meadow. They held me while I shook with tearless sobs and when I was finished they told me what they could remember of their human life- it wasn’t much. They were sisters, and were around the same age as me when they were changed, that was about it, they had forgotten the rest.

Even though I had just met them, I felt like I belonged in their family. And from that moment on I did. They asked me to move in with them, and when I accepted Analeigh screamed with excitement so loudly that I was sure that people in Italy could hear her.

They were so nice about everything. At every new school we went to, they arranged with the staff for me to have all female teachers (I still had issues with men) and for one of them to always be in my classes.

I pulled out of my thoughts as I parked in our driveway. The house Luella found was perfect. It looked small on the outside; however on the inside it was gigantic.

I choose my bedroom and quickly unpacked then headed downstairs. Analeigh and Luella were still unpacking, they were just like Alice they loved clothes.

When they were finished they came into the living room where I was folding the last of the boxes.

“Who wants to go hunting?!” I could always count on Analeigh to be perky and upbeat.

“I guess, but let’s not go to far away,” They thought I just didn’t want to explore too much, when in actuality I didn’t want to find a place with too many memories. Luella nodded her head and we ran out into the forest.

I found a few deer that I drained quickly, and then I sat back to wait for Analeigh and Luella to finish.

As they wandered back to join me, I smelt something. It wasn’t a good something, whatever it was smelled terrible, like wet dog. I knew that my sisters smelled it to because their noses scrunched up to.

We heard them before we saw them. Paws padding across the forest floor quickly and then five gigantic wolves emerged into the little clearing where we had gathered. Their eyes landed on Analeigh and Luella, and the biggest, a russet brown one, growled.

Something inside of me screamed at me to run. I took a small step back, following my instinct. The russet wolf’s eyes moved to me and widened slightly. After staring at me for a moment he turned and went back into the forest. The other wolves didn’t move and Analeigh and Luella looked at me, fear in their eyes.

A second later and a figure stepped into the clearing where the wolf had disappeared. It took me a second by I recognized who it was.

“Jake!” I couldn’t believe he was still alive, I walked forward, getting as close as I felt comfortable to a man. One of the wolves growled.

“It’s fine guys. She’s okay.” He turned back to me. “Bella, how… how are you still… I mean… Bella!” The four wolves disappeared and then four teenage boys returned in their place.

“Jake, how are you still alive?” I smiled up at him; I had missed my best friend badly over the years.

“I’m a werewolf, I wanted to tell you, but Sam told me I couldn’t.” He frowned then. “Bella… how are you still alive?”

“Well, after, um… after Laurent… you know,” Analeigh growled behind me, I took a deep breath, “the transformation started, but I didn’t scream because I was scared Laurent or the wolves, which I guess was you, would come back and finish me off. So, after you and whoever was with you left me thinking I was dead, I crawled into the forest and waited the transformation out. It only lasted a few hours; Laurent took most of my blood. So then I ran to my car and put on my spare clothes because, you know, I was kind of naked,” A few of the teenage boys gawked at me.

Why?” One of them demanded, still staring.

“Because my clothes were ruined, Laurent…” another deep breath “raped me.” I unconsciously took a step back from them.

“Oh, I’m sorry.” He blushed and looked down at his feet.

“Its fine, you didn’t know. Well anyways, I was going back to the meadow when I heard you talking to someone, and they mentioned killing me, so I ran.”

“Oh Bella,” Jake stepped forward to hug me, I automatically stepped back again. Luella wrapped her arms around my waist and Analeigh stepped in front of me growling. “Bella?” Jake looked confused by my behavior.

“She, um, has some issues with men.” Luella stated calmly. I put my hand on Analeigh’s shoulder and she stopped growling.

“Sorry,” I apologized, “I’m working on it.”

“I understand,” he smiled sympathetically at me, “How about you introduce your family here.”

“Oh, yea, this is Luella and Analeigh,” I gestured to them, “and this is Jacob, he’s the guy I was telling you about.”

“The one who broke your heart?” Analeigh growled.

“No, this is my best friend.” I amended and she stopped growling.

Jacob introduced his pack to us, and then- at the prodding at one of the boys- told us to stick to the same treaty they had with them. He knew that I didn’t like hearing their name.

Unfortunately they had to continue their patrol, so we said goodbye and I promised Jacob to call him soon.

We returned to our house and I settled into my bed, which I didn’t really need but I like having it anyway, to read ‘Wuthering Heights.’

I didn’t read much because I was to busy worrying about the next day- The day that we would start high school.
