Mistrust

Summary:
Starts off when Bella finds the meadow in New Moon, Laurent rapes her and bites her when the wolves show up. Now Bella must learn to live with who she is and what's happened to her. Inspired by the story "I am not the PERSON i used to be" by Akasha101, you should totally go check it out, it's super good!!! :) RATED TEEN FOR MATURE SITUATIONS (it's mainly just talked about)

Notes:
Haha, so I just realized that a LOT of my stories happen during New Moon except for like one... and that was the book that bored me the most, well that huge section where Jacob wasn't a werewolf and they were just hanging out (I have nothing against Jacob).

When I finally stopped dry sobbing Analeigh pulled up off the couch.

“Come on, time to get ready.” I nodded and dragged myself slowly up the stairs and into my room.

I picked out a simple outfit, a blue sweater and skinny jeans, I didn’t really care if we impressed this coven or not.

When I was finished getting ready I went back downstairs and sat down on the couch and waited for Analeigh and Luella to be ready. As soon as they came down we piled in the car, Luella driving, me in the passenger seat, and Analeigh in the back, and Luella pulled out and started to drive towards their house.

After a few minutes I turned my head and looked out the window. The houses were getting fewer and fewer the farther we went. I glanced at Luella.

“Um, where are we going?” I watched the trees rush by the car window, my surrounding were looking a little to familiar for my liking.

“To their house, why?” Luella asked.

“Oh, it’s nothing; everything just looks a little familiar to me. Maybe I’m just imagining things.” It stayed silent until we pulled onto the almost invisible drive hidden among the trees and then the big white house came into view. “Oh no.” I covered my eyes.

“What’s wrong?” Analeigh asked.

“This is their house.” I removed my hands from over my eyes and looked up at the white house.

“Oh, well I’m sure it’s not them.” Luella tried to comfort me.

“What did he look like?” I turned to her.

“Well, he was kind of big, as in super muscular even for a vampire, and he had curly brown hair.” That description fit someone a little too perfectly.

“We have to leave. Now.” I glanced back at the house.

“Why?”

“Because it is them.”

“Oh!” Luella was just about to turn the car back on when the front door flew open, and there stood Alice, staring at the car with a look of surprise on her face.

“Bella?” I heard her ask quietly. “Oh my god! Bella!”

The next thing I knew my door was flung open and she had pulled me into a tight hug.

“Hi Alice.” I pulled back a little and she let me go.

“Oh, Bella I am so sorry about everything. Please I didn’t want to leave, none of us did, he made us, please oh please forgive me!” She begged.

“Yes I forgive you.” I could never stay mad at Alice; or any of the Cullens for that matter, besides one.

“Oh!” She squealed, and then she pulled me up the stairs and into the house with Analeigh and Luella trailing behind. “Everyone is going to be so happy to see you! We all thought you were dead, we heard you were attacked by wolves and your body was never found.”

“Yea,” I cringed at that memory.

“Everyone! Look at who’s here!” Alice called. In seconds the entire Cullen family was gathered in front of us. They were all there, Rosalie, Jasper, Emmett, Esme, Carlisle, and… Edward. Gorgeous Edward who didn’t love me anymore, he stared at me surprised, and then his expression turned to a pained grimace.

“Bella!” Emmett exclaimed and rushed forward to give me a hug. I automatically stepped away from him; I knew that human boys could never really hurt me in that way (although I still had problems being around them, I was unusually weak for a vampire), but a vampire could. He stopped and cocked his head to the side confused as Analeigh stepped in front of me and growled a little in the back of her throat.

“Bella, I thought you forgave everyone.” Alice said confused.

“I-I do, it’s just…” I trailed off not knowing how to explain to them my problem.

“It’s just what Bella?” Emmett stared at me, a little hurt that I had refused his hug and my sister was growling at him. I looked at Luella to explain to them.

“Well, um, Bella here has issues trusting men. Um, she was hurt by one…” She tried to help them understand without actually saying it. Apparently they didn’t get it because they all glanced at Edward who cringed under their glares.

“Laurent raped me.” I stated quietly and looked at the ground, ashamed of myself for having to admit that to them. They all gasped, and I heard Edward growl a little to. It was silent for a moment before Alice spoke.

“Oh my god Bella I didn’t know. I should have seen it; I could have stopped that from happening. I’m so sorry!” If Alice was human she would have been crying.

“It’s fine Alice. What happened happened.”

“But Bella, it’s all our fault, if we had stayed then, oh I’m so sorry.” Esme came forward to hug me, but Analeigh was still hovering protectively in front of me, I put my hand on her back and she stepped away so Esme could come through.

“Oh, um,” I said as she pulled away, “These are my sisters Analeigh and Luella.” I gestured towards them.

“It’s so nice to meet you.” Esme smiled at them both, then turned and pointed to the Cullens, “I’m Esme and this is Carlisle, Alice and Jasper, Rosalie and Emmett, and Edward.” I flinched a little at the last one and Analeigh growled. Luella shot a concerned look at her; apparently something going on in her head right now wasn’t too good.

“Um… well why don’t we all sit down and catch up?” Esme asked gesturing toward the living room, obviously trying to start a conversation to break the awkward silence that had settled on the room.

I told them about how I met Analeigh and Luella, leaving out a few details like how they found me curled up in a ball, and what we had been up to for the past 150 years. They avoided talking about themselves quite a bit. All I got out of them is that they had gone after Victoria, who had mysteriously disappeared after a few years; they had spread out for awhile and met back up about twenty years ago.

Alice asked if I wanted to ‘sleepover’ and I accepted, however I suggested that we have it at my house. Rosalie, after she and Edward came out of the kitchen, both with a scowl on their face, oddly asked if she could come to. This was going to be an interesting sleepover.
