After Alice and Rosalie had collected some clothes for school the next day we headed out.
When we reached our house we gave Alice and Rosalie a tour before heading to our rooms to change into some different clothes to watch some movies in.
Just when I had pulled on a t-shirt and sweatpants there was a knock on my door.
“Yes?” I asked.
“Bella, can I come in?” Rosalie’s voice came from the other side of the door.
“Um, yea,” the door opened a little bit and Rosalie’s head appeared before the rest of her followed. “Do you need something?” I asked. It was odd seeing her being so friendly toward me.
“No, um, I just wanted to talk with you.” I flopped down onto my couch and patted the spot next to me. She hesitated before sitting.
“So what did you want to talk about?” I asked.
“First of all, I wanted to apologize about my behavior toward you all those years ago, I just didn’t want you to become one of us because, well, I wanted you to have the chances I didn’t.” She looked up at me for a second.
“What chances?” She knew what that all I had wanted was to become one of them.
“I wanted you to have the chance to have a family,” she told me, and my mouth formed an ‘o’ as I understood what she meant.
“It’s okay, I forgive you,” I couldn’t be mad at her for only wanting what she thought was best for me.
“That’s not all I wanted to talk to you about,” She took a deep breath before continuing. “How much about my human life did Edward tell you?”
Rosalie told me her entire story, everything about her human life and vampire life up to Emmett. I dry sobbed when she told me about Royce.
When we had both calmed down she took my hand.
“If you ever
need to talk to someone about what’s happened to you, please
don’t hesitate to come to me,” She said, squeezing my hand. “I know exactly what you’re going through.”
I nodded and gave her a weak smile.
“Now let’s go downstairs and watch that movie,” Rosalie smiled and then tugged me to my feet and hugged me for a second before we headed downstairs.
Alice smiled when we entered the living room.
“Yea! Now that you two are done with your bonding stuff we can watch the movie!” She exclaimed, dragging us over to the couches where Luella and Analeigh were sitting and then popped in the first movie.
We watched movies all night, laughing and joking with each other, but in the morning we had to get ready to go to school.
“Bella please?” Alice begged, she was seconds away from getting down on her knees, “Please let me dress you today?”
“No Alice, I can dress myself,” I told her. Her face fell and I felt a tad bit bad about turning her down. “Besides, I don’t want to draw attention to myself and knowing you, whatever you put me in would make every single living creature stare at me.”
Alice’s face brightened as she laughed. “Fine, but one day you will
submit willingly to my reign!”
“Okay Alice, you tell yourself that,” I said, rolling my eyes and then heading to my room to get dressed.
Alice and Rosalie rode with us to school, so when we arrived Emmett, Jasper, and Edward were all waiting for us.
Luella and Analeigh got out of the car quickly, greeted the boys, they were a little cold to Edward, and then skipped off to who knows where, while Alice, Rosalie, and I got out slowly and then walked to where the boys were waiting.
Alice and Rosalie kissed their husbands while Edward and I stood there awkwardly.
“Hey Bella!” Emmett exclaimed rather loudly, making the students near us all turn and look.
“Hey Emmett!” I yelled back. “Hey Jasper, Edward,” I said quietly.
“Hey Bells,” Jasper smiled and waved a little, Edward nodded.
“You’re in a good mood Bella,” Emmett observed.
“I got out of a make over from Alice this morning,” I laughed as Alice stuck her tongue out at me and everyone else stared at me.
“Wow, how’d you manage that?” Jasper asked.
“NO!” I heard Analeigh yell.
“I’ll be back in a minute,” I said rolling my eyes but smiling at the same time, “I gotta go break up their fight before they destroy half the school and we have to go into hiding again
I ran, at a human pace, over to where my sisters were fighting.
“Guys!” I yelled to get their attention. “What are you fighting about this time?” I asked as the Cullens came over.
“We’re fighting over who you love more,” Analeigh said looking at her feet.
“I love you both equally,” I said rolling my eyes and then pulling them into a hug.
“Oh! I have this great idea!” Luella exclaimed.
“Hey! It’s my idea! You read my mind!” Analeigh glared at her.
“You can read minds?” Emmett asked.
Analeigh turned and looked at him. “Yea, didn’t we tell you last night about our powers?”
Emmett shook his head.
“Oh, well I can read minds, Analeigh can put her thoughts into other people’s minds, and Bella can create mental and physical shields.” Luella explained, and the Cullens all turned and stared at me.
“Is that why I can’t read any of your minds?” Edward asked.
I nodded. “I’ve put a shield over their minds so many times; it just kind of became permanent. I can remove it, but it kind of just snaps back into place with out me thinking about it. Anyways, what’s your idea?”
“Well, I was thinking we could all go hunting tonight! You know, to get to know each other,” Analeigh exclaimed.
“Oh that would be so much fun!” Alice exclaimed.
“I’m down for that!” Emmett agreed.
“Of course you are,” Rosalie rolled her eyes. “Bella, what’s your schedule look like? I wasn’t here yesterday.” She said turning to me.
I gave her my schedule.
“I have English first hour to!” Rosalie exclaimed, then she grabbed my hand, the boys all looked stunned at her friendly gesture toward me. “The bells going to ring soon! Bye guys!”
And then she towed me off to class along with Analeigh and Luella.
