Roxanna, rebelling against her mum since her dad vanished, now sent to spend time in Forks. A problem for Edward and a famous Vampire Hunter. [banner removed per site regulations]

I don't own these characters except for Roxanna, Rhiannon and Shannon. Roxanna's father is partly property of bram stoker and partly property of my imagination. The rest are Stephenie Meyers and i'm seriously annoyed about that. This is not based on the song Rebel without a clue

5. Do you remember?

I woke up screaming. Edward was the person who had saved my life on that dark night! He knew what had happened to my sister! I picked up my cell phone, not bothering to look at the time. I rang the number that had last called me. He answered after two rings.

“Hello Roxie” he said.

“Hello Edward. I need to talk to you”

“Fine. Where do you want to meet me?”

“I don’t know. Where would you suggest?”

“How about, you wait till morning; I pick you up and bring you to my house?”

“Sure. About seven, right?”

“Perfect. See you then” then I noticed the time. Three in the morning. He hadn’t sounded sleepy, or disturbed. Just as though he had been, awake already. Everybody had to sleep at some point. Unless…No! I wasn’t going to end up like Rhiannon, or dad. I managed to fall asleep again. I woke up. I had five minutes to get ready! I had a two-minute shower, shoved some clothes on and grabbed a piece of toast. I opened the door and there was Edward’s silver Volvo, waiting.

“In a hurry?” he asked, sticking his head out the window.

“Slept in” he nodded and opened the door. I got in. he sped off. We reached a large white house in the middle of the woods.

“Okay. What did you want to talk about?” he asked. I sighed.

“You knew me”

“Yes I did”

“Three years ago?”

“Yes. And before then”

“You saved me when I was drowning”

“Yes I did. Do you remember anything else?”

“You didn’t want to leave”

“No I didn’t. What else?” he quizzed. I knew what he was worrying about.

“You know what happened to my sister” he sighed.

“Did you do it?”

“No. she was taken. But I didn’t do it” he said it in such a way that I knew he was telling the truth.

“Who did?” he got out the car.

“I have to show you” he smiled and gestured for me to get out. When I didn’t move, he came round to my door and opened it.

“Are you coming?”

“No. I think I’ll wait here”

“Come on you little coward. You want to know what took her. Follow me” I sighed again. He seized my wrist and pulled me from the car. Then he let go of my arm. I contemplated running for it.

“I would drag you back. So, don’t try it”

“I called you. Let me handle things at my own speed” I said. He groaned and took my arm again.

“Don’t worry. I’ll protect you from the house!” he teased. I raised an eyebrow.

“Just…trust me,” he said. Then he led me into the house.

“Hey, everyone? We have a visitor!” he called.

“Does said visitor have a name?” asked a voice. I recognized it. The other person in my dream.

“Yes. Roxanna. Roxanna Van Helsing” there was silence from the other room. Then I heard a sigh and the creak as someone got off an old wooden chair. A blond man came in. He looked like a movie star.

“Hello Roxie. It’s been a while, how are you?”
