Notes:
I don't own these characters except for Roxanna, Rhiannon and Shannon. Roxanna's father is partly property of bram stoker and partly property of my imagination. The rest are Stephenie Meyers and i'm seriously annoyed about that. This is not based on the song Rebel without a clue

I woke up early the next morning and checked out my problem page. Three replies to that strange problem.Go out with the hottest one. Mike was so annoying. Only he would write that.

I think you should talk to them about how you feel. About both of them. I was pretty sure that was Angela. She was kind and understanding.Which one do you have the most in common with? Not sure about that one. I heard Karen in the kitchen and went downstairs. I ate breakfast and left. Mike wasn’t up yet and I wanted to get out of his way. I started the walk to school.

“Hey stranger” said Edward’s voice. I turned. Alone, early in the morning, with a vampire. I still didn’t trust him completely.

“Oh. Hi”

“What’s wrong with you?”

“Aside from the obvious?”

“Oh. You mean the whole…vampire thing”

“Yes. That whole vampire thing”

“Can’t you trust me?”

“Not really. Yesterday you told me that your kind abducted my sister. Does that seem to you like a reason to trust someone?”

“No” he admitted.

“Well then. Don’t ask stupid questions,” I told him.

“Hmm. I must warn you, don’t expect us to leave you alone” I noticed his eyes. His expression was closed, guarded, watchful.

“Why? What happened?” I asked suspiciously.

“Nothing. Yet. We didn’t mention something yesterday. Some vampires have extra abilities. I can read minds. Jasper, my brother, is an empathic. He can feel and manipulate people’s emotions. And Alice can see the future. That’s what’s worrying me. She saw something happening to you. So for the meantime, we’re not letting you out of our sight. One of us will be watching you at all times”

“Edward, that’s silly. You have to watch out for Bella. She’s a danger to herself”

“What? Who told you that?”

“People. But, I don’t see why you should care about me. Look after Bella; I can take care of myself”

“No. one of us will watch you at all times until Alice sees the danger has past” I groaned but I could tell I wouldn’t be able to change his mind. I sighed.

“Is that why you suddenly appeared when I started to walk to school?”

“Yes. Bella is driving herself to school”

“Hmm. Seems like you’re treating your girlfriend a bit poorly” I teased. His eyes tightened. I raised an eyebrow at him.

“And tonight you’re coming over for a sleepover at my house”

“WHAT?” I yelled stopping in the road.

“Yes. You’re coming over. So’s Bella. And at the weekends I want you to spend as much time as possible at the house”

“Hang on. You said one of you was going to keep an eye on me, you never said anything about ordering me to spend my weekends in your lair!”

“Interesting choice of words. Okay, what would you rather do?”

“Enjoy myself”

“How about this, Alice, Bella and you go shopping on the Saturday. And you sleep over at the house again and on Saturday you do what you like and one of us will watch you?”

“How about, you get lost?” I said. He looked angry and I felt afraid.

“I’m sorry. I just don’t like being controlled. I’ll come over tonight and at the weekend I’ll go shopping with them but on Sunday I’m going to the beach”

“You don’t like water”

“Don’t remind me. No, I like beaches though. Karen recommended it to me. Maybe Bella could come as well”

“Which beach?”

“La Push”
