I went to answer it and almost cried in releif and anger when I saw who it was. He stood there, looking more beautiful then a Greek god, with his hair dripping wet from the rain. I wanted to kiss him and strangle him at the same time.

"Hello, love." He murmured, softly.

"Hi." I tried to smile, but my nerves were getting the best of me.

"Can we walk?" He asked, taking an umbrella out of his back pocket. He opened it up and I stepped outside. We walked around aimlessly for a few minutes, drifting into the woods, until he spoke.

"I'm sorry." He said, softly. I looked up into his eyes and saw remorse.

I said nothing.

"Bella, say something." He pleaded. "I said I was sorry."

"Sorry doesnt cut it." I snapped. I was still royally pissed that he would judge my best friends like that.

"Bella, what do you want me to say?" He asked, confused.

"I want you to say you were wrong. I want you to tell me that you were wrong about my friends." I told him, simply.

"Bella, I can't do that. You want me to ignore the fact that those guys are pigs?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Edward, think about it. If I said something about your sisters or your brothers, you would be offended, right? Even if they did or said something completely...stupid, you would still stick up for them. Am I wrong?" I challenged. He thought for a moment.

"I supose, I would be a little angry with you. But this is different, Bella, those guys are-"

"My family." I finished for him. "Edward, you've only seen the bad. It wasnt even bad, it was stupid. So, you've only seen the stupid side. You havent even let them show you the good side." I reasoned. He was silent.

"Bella, tell me one good thing those guy have ever done for you." He ordered, softly.

"One? I could tell you a million right off the bat. Those guys do everything for me!" I exclaimed.

"Prove it. Enlighten me, Bella." He murmured.

"Fine. Fourth grade, I fell on the playground and broke my leg. Ted carried me to the nurses office. Sixth grade, I was failing math. Lucas stayed up with me six nights in a row and helped me. My thirteenth birday, the guys made me a cake that said 'Happy Birthday Bella' on it.

"When people made fun of me because I couldnt dance, John Miller and Dexter taught me how. Eighth grade, when we graduated middle school, the guys chipped in and bought me an ipod." I named them off, one by one. He just stared at me, perfectly composed. This next one was gonna sting, but hey.

"And then, the biggest one of all. They stayed with me for months when you left. All night they stayed up and comforted me while I cried my eyes out. Weeks, no sleep, unexpected sobbing, emotional roller coaster. They stuck it out. When I was depressed, they cheered me up. Whenever I felt like one more second you werent there, they made me see the good." Tears gathered in my eyes as I thought of this.

"I love them. They mean so much to me. And I know you'll never see that, but I'm trying to make you understand. There the closest family I have, closer to me then my mom. And if you cant accept them, then you cant have me." I finished., staring him down.

He glared at the sky for a few moments and finally sighed, exasperated. He turned to me, looking defeated.

"Alright. I'll be nice." Those four words meant everything. I nearly jumped him, hugging his waist so tightly, I thought I would snap my arms. I proceeded to shove my tongue down his throat until he thought we'd gone too far."I love you. Never forget that." I whispered to him.

"I promise I wont. And I love you too." He murmured, lovingly. We walked back to the house holding hands.

Once we were on the porch, I sighed. I couldnt have my fiance hate my best friends. It was time to acquaint them, properly. We walked into the house and Lucas didnt see Edward, so he barreled down the stairs, knocking me down.

"Bella, you'll never guess what Ted just brought home!" He exclaimed, helping me up, still not seeing the god standing next to me.

"Tangerines?" I asked, going to sit down on the couch with him, with Edward following. Was this boy blind?

"No, no, no. Girls!" He chuckled. "I havent had a girlfriend since I broke up with Gia."

"You brought strange girls in my house?" I asked, raising my eyebrows. He nodded and finally noticed Edward. He turned sheepish.

"Hey, man." He greeted him. "I dont think we were really introduced. I'm Lucas."

"Edward." Edward smiled, forced. I nodded in approval.

Dexter and John Miller walked in then. John Miller looked thrilled, but Dexter was rolling his eyes. I then saw why. Ted walked out of th kitchen with Jessica and Lauren on his arms.

"Hey, Bell." He chirped, plopping down on the couch next to me. Lauren looked shocked, Jessica looked nervous

"Why is Bella Swan here?" She whispered to Jessica loudly.

"She lives here." Jessica mumbled. "I forgot until just now."I smiled at them, condescendingly.

Only Ted would go out and find whores like Lauren and Jessica. When did he even go out? We were outside for ten minutes!

"Well, as much fun as it is just sitting here, awkwardly, I want to play a game." Dex suggested.

"What do you propose?" Edward asked, trying to be friendly. He looked around for a minute and smiled.

"Truth or Dare." He laughed.
