You're Still Here!

Somebody comes to Forks that Edward thought should have died a long time ago. How will this new arrival affect the Cullens' and Bella's life? I know it says no spoilers, but there actually are a few. DISCLAIMER: I do not own any of the Twilight characters!

I just thought of this one day and decided it would be cool to write.

Edward’s P.O.V.

Bella, Alice, and I were sitting at our lunch table. Bella was the only one eating, of course. I was just staring at her while she and Alice carried on a conversation. From the little I tuned in to, it seemed like Alice was trying to get Bella to go shopping with her this weekend. Bella was resisting, not very well though. She was on the verge of giving in. I could tell.

Throughout the day, people had been thinking of some new kids, sisters, that had just started attending the high school. I didn’t pay much attention to their thoughts though. After all, why would I care about some new kids. They would probably be just some ordinary students by next week. No big deal. Besides, all I really paid any attention to at school these days were Bella, Alice, and the lessons.

“Come on Bella. Please. Just for a few hours Saturday? Please. Please. Please.”

“Ugh. Fine. Just a few hours. But you can’t buy me anything. Got that?”

“Where’s the fun in that?”

“And you’re not dressing me up when we get back.”

“Now you’ve ruined my entire Saturday! Can‘t I buy you maybe just one or two things?”

“Maybe. I’m not making any guarantees though.”

I laughed under my breath. I could not get why Bella was so stubborn about having us buy her stuff. What was the big deal? It’s not like we’d go broke or anything. My family was filthy rich. She surprises me so much.

“Edward?” I heard from behind me. Alice, Bella, and I all looked up to see who had called my name. Standing behind me was someone I thought should have died about fifty years ago. She had a little longer than shoulder length, bronze colored hair. She was a little shorter than me. She was wearing a white top and jeans.

“Clara!” I got up and hugged her. “What are you doing here? Shouldn’t you be dead?”

“I was just about to ask you the same thing. I thought you died when the influenza hit Chicago. But obviously, you’re not dead. You‘re a…, well, you know.”

“Yeah. I am. My doctor was a, you know. He changed me before I died. What about you? How are you still here?”

“My college dorm room was robbed just about six months after you supposedly died. I was shot. One of the police officers was a, what your doctor was, and saw I wasn’t going to survive long. So he changed me.”

“Oh my God. This is wonderful.” I exclaimed.

“I know. I can’t believe this is happening.”

Then I noticed that there were two vampires behind her. This must be the new family. I wish I had paid more attention to the peoples’ thoughts today. I heard one of them sort of cough to get Clara’s attention.

“Oh. How rude of me. I forgot to introduce you to my family. This is Sandra.” She pointed to a tall girl with waist length, dirty- blonde hair. She was wearing an off- the- shoulder, maroon, long sleeve top with jeans.

“And this is Karen.” Clara pointed to a girl about Alice’s height. She was a brunette with shoulder length hair. Karen was wearing a dark purple, button- down top and khaki pants.

“Nice to meet you,” I said while shaking both their hands.

“Nice to meet you,” the girl known as Karen said.

“Very nice,” Sandra added. She smiled at me, so I smiled back.

By this point both Alice and Bella had stood up.

“This is Alice,” I told them while motioning to Alice. “She is part of my family.”

“And this is Bella, my girlfriend.” I said as I put my arm around her waist.

“Alice, Bella, this is Clara, my sister.”
