You're Still Here!

Summary:
Somebody comes to Forks that Edward thought should have died a long time ago. How will this new arrival affect the Cullens' and Bella's life? I know it says no spoilers, but there actually are a few. DISCLAIMER: I do not own any of the Twilight characters!

Notes:
I just thought of this one day and decided it would be cool to write.

Edward’s P.O.V.

“You’re kidding, right?” Rosalie asked.

“No.”

There was a long silence while everyone looked around at each other and between the two of us. Finally Emmett spoke up.

“Awesome!”

“Emmett!” Rosalie scolded him.

“What?”

There was another shorter silence. It seemed that no one knew exactly what to say.

“Well it’s very nice to meet you, Clara,” Esme said. “And your friends.”

“Thank you. It’s nice to meet you, too. All of you,” she said back

“Yeah. This is so cool!” Karen exclaimed.

“Karen!” Sandra said.

Karen gave Sandra a ‘What did I do expression’ and Sandra shot back a ‘Be quiet!’ expression.

‘Could she be any less subtle?’ Sandra thought.

“So how long have you all been living in Forks?” Carlisle asked.

“About four days,” Karen told him.

“How do you like it so far?” Esme asked them.

“Pretty well. It’s a very nice town.” Clara answered.

“Where do you live?” Carlisle asked.

“Right now we are staying in a hotel. Just until we can find a house. We’re still looking.” Clara informed him.

“You shouldn’t have to stay in a hotel. Why don’t you stay here? Just until you can find your own place?” I offered.

“Yes. There’s plenty of room. You should stay here,” Esme agreed.

“That’s so thoughtful of you, but we don‘t want to be a burden to anyone,” Clara told us.

“Nonsense. I insist,” Esme said.

“Yes. Stay,” I agreed.

They all glanced at each other with questioning looks on there faces. I hoped they would say yes. The odds were pretty good, from their thoughts at least. I wanted to spend as much time with my sister as possible. We had a lot of catching up to do. 100 years' worth.

“Great! You can stay in the empty bedroom on the third floor! It‘s just down the hall from Edwards!” Alice exclaimed, breaking the silence.

“Huh?” Karen asked.

“They’re staying?” asked Jasper.

“Yep,” Alice answered.

“How did you know we decided to stay?” Sandra asked.

“Oops. I guess you don’t know, do you. I can kind of see the future.”

“You can? That’s so cool!” Karen said.

“Yeah. And Edward can read minds. And Jasper here can control emotions.” She motioned over to Jasper.

“Sweet!” Karen exclaimed.

“You can read minds?” Clara asked me.

“Yeah.”

“Karen has a power, too.” Sandra said. Even if I couldn’t read minds, I would have known that Sandra was the kind of person that liked a lot of attention.

“You do? What?” Alice asked Karen.

“I can know everything that happened in anyone’s past.”

“Everything?” Emmett asked.

“Everything that physically happened. I don’t know what they were thinking, though.”

‘Wow! There’s really no privacy in here right now.’ Rosalie thought. She was right. With everyone’s different powers, most of everyone’s past and present, and some future, could be known.

“But are you sure we could stay?” Clara finally asked.

“Of course.” Carlisle said.

“We’d love to have you,“ Esme agreed.

“Well, okay. If you’re sure. And just until we find a house.”

“Great,” I said.
