I Had to Choose

Summary:
So, this is from Bella's POV, and if you can't tell, it's for her telling Jacob goodbye at the end of Eclipse. (I love the emotion of that scene) I guess I'll call it a poem, but really, they are lyrics to a song that I wrote, which is why one part repeats, it's the chorus. Enjoy, and please review!!!

When he left me, it's so hard to explain,

So hard to show you the pain,

Of that empty space he left in my chest.

What could I do but keep going with my life,

Never knowing if I would ever be alright

Again.

But now I'm ripped in two,

I don't know what to do.

Fire and ice,

Both are nice.

But I have to choose,

And someone has to lose.

My heart is breaking to see your face fall,

When I give you the news,

That I had to choose.

You came and suddenly my world had sun, it had light

My dark, cold world was finally bright.

And though I never healed, it got better every day.

That pain in my chest had finally started to fade.

But now I'm ripped in two,

I don't know what to do.

Both are nice.

But I have to choose,

And someone has to lose.

My heart is breaking to see your face fall,

When I give you the news,

That I had to choose.

So please don't cry my love, at least,

Not where I can see.

You've already been hurt, and I wish I didn't need to choose.

But I had to.
