Crash

Edward's POV

She liked it. She really did like the car. I could tell she didn't like being spoiled though. That would be one thing she would have a problem with. Everyone in this family would get each other extravagant gifts. We were rich but we didn't flaunt it to the point where we were snobs. We did have expensive cars, expensive houses and clothes-no thanks to Alice. I guess that would be a thing that Bella would really need to get used to. Especially by Alice. She would force Bella to go shopping and by now I knew Bella wouldn't enjoy the shopping bit of this life.

I noticed Bella throw a hand to her throat. She was thirsty and now we would need to go hunting.

"I think it would be time for your first hunt, Bella." I told her. She looked at me and nodded. She would be easy to adapt to this life.

"Okay! Yes! I'm so taking her!" Alice yelled. I looked at her and shook my head. It would be my turn to show her how to hunt. I wanted the chance alone with her.

"But why not? I want to." Alice whined. I laughed at her. She raised her eye brow and gave me an evil grin. A grin that only meant she was planning something devilish but wouldn't let me hear it. She was playing Miley Cyrus' song ‘7 Things'. I hate her and she knew that so she did it purposely.

"I know. How about we both go? I think it's only fair. Plus, if something goes wrong, there are two instead of one to control her."

I nodded and Alice skipped ahead and grabbed Bella's hand. She pulled and Bella followed. I went behind just in case. We walked to the lake in the woods. We quickly went to it. Bella followed silently. She was confused by the looks of it.

"Okay, so we just leap over this and then..." Alice started but was cut off by Bella's twinkling laughter.

"I highly doubt I could even start to jump without falling." She said. She looked highly amused.

"Well, being a vampire takes away any clumsiness. Don't worry, you'll do fine." Alice told her with a huge grin planted on her small face. Bella nodded and motioned for us to go first. We did and then she followed. Because of her extra strength of a newborn, she got farther and Alice and I had to catch up.

"Now let your instincts take over. You will smell something delicious." I said to her. She nodded and closed her eyes. She opened them again and Alice quickly reassured her with a nod of her delicate looking head. Bella quickly took of. We followed and I noticed the smell. It was a mountain lion, my favorite. She was just about to attack the lion when a new, more delicious smell over came our noses. It was a human. It could quite possibly a lost hiker. This would be a problem for us. Bella was only a newborn. She would attack. We must stop her now.

Alice and I rushed toward Bella. Bella's eyes were coal black and she was looking at the direction of the scent. She shook her head and took of in the other direction. Confusion swept over me and I ran after Bella. She was leaning against a tree and wasn't breathing. I could tell she was struggling.

"How did you do that?" I asked her with Alice. We were both extremely confused. She had too much control for a new born.

"What do you mean? I didn't do anything." She said. She looked at me with curiosity in her eyes.

"Well, it takes years for an older vampire to grow that much control. You just ignored it and ran away. It shouldn't be possible." Alice told her.

"I just thought of Charlie and remembered that everyone deserves to have a chance at life and if I killed that person, he wouldn't be able to go back to his family. I couldn't do that." She told me. I looked at her in disbelief. I just nodded my head.

Edward, I'm going to leave now. Rosalie wants to go shopping and we need to buy Bella a new wardrobe. No sister of mine is going to have clothes like she's wearing now. Alice told me with her thoughts. Bella would hate this. Alice wouldn't just buy her a wardrobe. She would buy her a room filled with clothes.

I nodded and Alice took off. "Where is she going?" Bella asked.

"She just had to go on a shopping trip with Rosalie. I'm proud of you though." I told her. Her face lit up and I noticed she was staring at me with a look that reminded me of the way I was right now. I took that moment and crept towards her. She kept leaning against a tree and smiled at me with lust in her eyes. Then I rushed to her and gave her the most passionate kiss. Her hands tangled in my hair and she pressed her body against me. I could tell at that moment that we felt the same way for each other. We broke apart slowly for what seemed to be like forever. We didn't mind though.

"I love you." I told her and she smiled again and pulled me to her. She pulled my head to her neck and put her mouth against my ear.

"I love you, too." She whispered to me. I was glad. We could be together forever. We could be together for all eternity.
