Crash

"Aro, what is it?" The children both said in synchronized speaking. The man, Aro, held out a hand to stop them from speaking further and the two other men looked amazed and shocked. The other black haired man had curiosity in his eyes and the man with the silvery white hair had a look of lusting power in his eyes. They soared over as well and looked me in the eyes. I felt rather intimidated. They were a little frightening but I ignored it and looked at Edward, who looked as worried as can be. He had fear obvious in his now black eyes. They had depths that could scare anything away and he was obviously reading the thoughts.

"I see you have found someone we would like on our guard. Why keep it a secret, Carlisle? You don't want other covens knowing you have power? I'm sure the Romanian coven would be visiting quite a lot if word got out about her. What is this young one's name?" The silvery white haired man said.

"Well, first of all, we aren't power hungry, Caius. And, second, we would rather not be bothered by others about Bella." Carlisle told the other man, Caius. He looked amazed. I couldn't understand why though.

"Well, Carlisle, looks like you weren't scared for a minute that something bad might happen. Well, this one, Bella, is highly important and we would really enjoy having her, along with Edward and Alice with us on out guard. They would be treated fairly of course. So, if you don't mind, Bella, would you like to come join our guard? You would be very highly ranked with us. You could have all the power and money in the world. Mind you, you could even have the whole world if you wished." Caius said to me. Why would he ask such a silly question? Did he honestly think I was as power hungry as they obviously were?

I shook my head, too speak. Then everyone walked into the room. Emmett and Rosalie had been out hunting and Jasper had been away in his and Alice's room.

They walked in with shocked faces and then were in front of me in an instant. They were growling in a very loud volume. It rattled my eardrums and stung for a second. They all were in a protective crouch.

"What do you want with Bella?" Emmett asked. He was bearing his and his eyes were solid black like Edward's.

The others broke into shouts like Emmett's.

"Leave her alone!" Jasper yelled. Fierceness deep in his eyes.

"If you lay a finger on her you are dead!" Rosalie thundered. Her threat was scary.

"GET AWAY FROM HER!" Alice screamed. She looked the most deadly of all of them. She looked like a lethal weapon or a nuclear bomb ready to explode. Neither of those could compare to how deadly they looked.

Then Emmett was around me and was shielding me from all sight of all of the others. Alice was behind me and Jasper and Rosalie were on either sides of me. They looked as fierce as ever and I probably looked as confused as ever. It was an understatement.

I was more then confused. I was scared as well. I didn't know if it was a life or death situation. If it was, then I was over feared. I calmed myself and tried to stay that way.

"Oh, we were not going to hurt her. We only wish for her to be on out guard." Aro said, overly polite.

"Is that the only thing?" Jasper asked smoothly. Edward spoke up this time with a disappointed and worried tone.

"No, it isn't. He wants more." He looked worried and I raised my eyebrow. Was I honestly the only one that didn't know what was going on?

Then, words came rushing into my ears. I covered them instantly and everyone looked worried. I could hear everyone talking at once but their lips weren't even moving.
