A Change in Heart

There they were. The Volturi. The beautiful rulers of the vampire world. Coming to take my baby girl, Renesmee, from me. Why? She did not do anything. She was not any trouble. She controlled herself better. If they took my baby girl from me then I might just lose it right on the spot. I was taken out of my thoughts when all of them were not far from us.

"Aro, my old friend, it's been centuries." Carlisle said to Aro.

Aro held up his hand, "Peace." He said to his followers.

"Fair words, Carlisle. They seem out of place, considering you have assembled and army to destroy me and my loved ones."

"These are witnesses Aro, I do not wish for you to be harmed." I heard a few people growl under their breath.

Then I heard something disturbing, Edward gasped, then I smelt a human. A sweet, honey and vanilla scent swept over to me. Who brought a human?

"Aro, are you so weak you need a human?" I heard Stefan-one of the vampires from the Romanian coven- say, slightly laughing.

Aro shook his head.

"Well, we are not weak. This human is extraordinary and will help us with this situation." Stefan looked at him with a raised eyebrow.

"A strong human? Sure, whatever you say. We all know you are extremely unpleasant and do not need a human to do your dirty work." Stefan was mocking him now. He knew Aro would not appreciate the tone so he just kept on bringing more.

"Well, we found her in Italy, during the night when we were on a job." Aro explained.

Then I saw a glimpse of the new girl. I did not recognize her. She looked merely eleven. Black hair, unknown eyes. They looked... multicoloured? I was amazed. I noticed all the others were looking as well. This was weird. Did she have a power?

"This girl is stronger than all of you put together. She's stronger than all of us," Aro said pointing to all of the guard, wives and himself, including as well Ciaus and Marcus. "Put together. We were lucky to find her. And we are lucky she has agreed to join us, although she said that she wanted to be changed in a few days. So she is to be turned tomorrow. Klarissa, will you please come here?" Then I heard a swoosh. A girl, the same girl I was just looking at was right beside Aro in a flash. She was faster than any vampire surely. Aro smiled at her and ruffled her hair as if she was a five year old being as funny as possible. Then Aro turned to us.

"See what I mean? She is faster than vampires." I heard Edward tense. I looked up at him. He just shook his head. What had he heard? Then he leaned down.

"I know what her powers are." He looked like he was shaking from fear. Why was he afraid? I thought a human couldn't scare a vampire. I looked at her and saw Aro give her a nod. What was she doing? I saw her turn to me, and then her eyes went black.

Just then I felt terrible pain seeping through my veins. The pain was worse than transformation. I wanted to beg for death. I knew it wouldn't come though, Edward would never allow it.

Then everyone was around me. Well, mostly everybody. I could see the faces of Carlisle, Esme, Renesmee, Rosalie, Emmett and most of all, my angel Edward. I could also see Tanya, Eleazer and Kate looking at me. Questions in their eyes. Then everything went black. The pain was getting worse and I screamed. I couldn't move.
