A Change in Heart

"Would it be possible to meet her? But don't let Aro know. He thinks I'm threatening you to give your daughter up and join them with your wife." I told Edward.

"I see. Well, I can bring her here right now. Just, please don't tell Aro we're doing this! I don't want any of my family in their guard." He said. Pure horror was in his eyes and I nodded. He ran off and was back with his daughter, Renesmee. She was so adorable. I couldn't see why Aro would want to destroy a precious child like this. Her hair cascaded down her back in bronze ringlets; her hair was like her fathers. She had deep chocolate brown eyes that melted in her eyes. She had a pale complexion and rosie cheeks. Her lips formed a wide smile that showed a row of pearly white teeth. She looked of the age
of six but was really only a few months old.

"She's so adorable. I love that name. Who named her?" I asked. I had never heard anything like it.

"My wife here, Bella, named her." He said to me. He pointed to the woman on his side. She was probably the prettiest one here. She had chocolate brown hair, high cheekbones and more defined features. Se also had red eyes but they would fade within a few months of drinking animal blood.

"Hi sweetie." I said to the little girl. Her face brightened as I talked to her. She came out of her fathers arms with a swift and graceful hop and took my hand and jumped into my arms. She touched my face and showed me her father playing a piano. It sounded like a lullaby and then she spoke.

"This is my mommy's lullaby. I love it! Don't you?" She asked me. I nodded.

"It's beautiful and peaceful." I told her. She smiled and lay down in my arms. I turned around when I heard the war break out and Aro's voice call out to me.

"Aro, I will not let you harm this girl. She is harmless and you know it. Why are you trying to harm these people?" I asked. I hardly noticed Edward, Bella and Renesmee leave and then the murmuring started. I noticed many of the vampires rush to Edward and ask him questions.

"Are you turning on us?" Aro asked. All the leaders were there now. Only Marcus seemed to understand as well as Alec, my love.

"Not at all. I don't believe you should harm them though. Are you just mad you can't have anyone of these vampires with amazing powers? You are unbelievably greedy!" I yelled at him finally and then all the vampires were looking at him.

"This means war!" All the Volturi yelled. Then, the war broke out. I was worried that someone would get hurt. What side do I choose? I wanted to protect the Cullens but Alec was on the Volturi's team.

"Don't worry; you and I are going to help the Cullens." Alec whispered into my ear so only we could here it. I nodded and I took his hand. I ran as fast as I could. We were in front of all the fighters in less then a second.

"Stop!" I yelled with Alec. They all stopped and backed away from me. In their eyes I could see what color my eyes were. They were silver and red. A new power was about to be discovered and I didn't know what it was. Neither did they and they know how lethal my powers are when first discovered.

"Klarissa, don't do this. Why are you taking the criminal's side?" Aro asked me.
He was such a fool.

"These are not criminals. Last I heard, it was immortal children that were illegal. Not have breeds. When are you guys going to make up your brain dead minds?" I yelled at them. They jumped back at the violence in my voice.

"What are you going to do Klarissa? Are you going to hurt us? I highly doubt you could kill any of us!" Felix said. He was always the strongest but he was never intimidating to me. He was probably just trying to sound superior in front of everyone so he didn't come off as weak. He did make me angry though and my eyes started to burn. Not with tears though. They burned with hatred and another sensation. When I blinked-trying to get the burn away it left my eyes but only start the ground on fire. All the Volturi's eyes widened and they ran. They left one vampire in the fire's path though and that was the one that had told about Renesmee. Irena was near the fire and I couldn't let her die. I had grown to like her as a friend. I dashed to the field and grabbed her. I commanded the rain to come and then it did. It let the fire out and then I was surrounded by vampires. Irena was unconscious and was mostly likely too weak to survive. I had no other choice but to use my power on her. I put my hands on her face and concentrated on her back to life. Then her eyes fluttered open and she came to life. I was only half aware of
Alec holding me in his arms.
