Decisions

Summary:
What she said next I would never forget. "If he dies Edward, I die too... and it will be your fault." Then she left and I knew what I had to do, even if it was going to kill me.

Present

Edward’s P.O.V.

“If he dies, Edward, I die too… and it will be your fault.”

“If he dies, Edward, I die too… and it will be your fault.” BANG, my plasma screen T.V. hits the wall.

“If he dies, Edward, I die too… and it will be your fault.” CRASH, my wall-sized window overlooking the lake shatters to the floor.

“If he dies, Edward, I die too… and it will be your fault.” BOOM, I flip my bed frame over.

“If he dies, Edward, I die too… and it will be your fault.” RIP, I tear my mattress in half.

“If he dies, Edward, I die too… and it will be your fault.” BAM, my fist goes through a wall.

“If he dies, Edward, I die too… and it will be your fault.”

“AHHHHHHHHHH!!!” My hands fly to my hair and I’m just about to rip it out when two hands grab my right arm and another set of hands grab my left. I can’t see who it is though because all I’m seeing is her face, so I snarl and try to pull my arms out of their grip but they won’t budge. I growl and twist my whole body around trying to throw whoever has me in a death grip off, but it doesn’t work.

I hear voices, but I can’t decipher what they’re saying because all I hear is her agonizing words. “If he dies, Edward, I die too… and it will be your fault.”

“SHUT UP! STOP IT! STOP IT, BELLA, PLEASE!” I scream, but her voice still persists.

“If he dies, Edward, I die too… and it will be your fault.”

“I die too.”

“Your fault.”

I fall to my knees and sob, but no tears fall. Now that I’m no longer destroying my room I can finally comprehend what the voices are saying. “Edward, Edward, stop, what happened?” Alice asks. I look to where her voice is but all I see is white from the rage I was coming down from. Coming down from this much rage is like coming down from heroin. My whole body is shaking and if I was human I would be covered in sweat.

I squeeze my eyes shut until the white goes black and open them. Now I can see. Emmett has a hold on my left arm and Jasper has my right arm. Everyone else is standing around my room, shock written on all of their faces. I grimace as I look around; it looks like a tornado just ran through. I no longer have a glass wall overlooking the lake, it has completely shattered.

I look back to Alice, who is sitting on her knees in front of me but her eyes are glazed over as if she’s having a vision. “Alice?” She is definitely having a vision because she still doesn’t look at me. Then as if she just woke up from a coma she gasps and her whole body shifts forward. “Alice?” I ask again. Everyone else is still frozen from shock, either from my tantrum or Alice having a vision or what Bella said, I don’t know. “

Bella,” she says, looking at me and images of Bella flash through my mind as I see what Alice is seeing.

“What is she doing, packing?” I ask Alice, my voice is an octave higher from panic.

“Yes,” Alice says, her eyes wide and I see Bella throw a bag in the passenger seat of her truck right before jumping in after it. “She’s on her way here.”

“What for?” I ask, more panicked now as Bella backs out of her driveway wearing a very angry and determined look on her face.

“We’re about to find out,” Alice says.
