Dance, Dance, Dance
When you leave someone you love for the better, they should just stay away right? Well, what if it was what you needed, but just couldn't get him out of your mind?
Get out of my life
I beg you to go now
For I can no longer stand your face
You're cold as ice and so frustrated
Now I get on my feet again
There's nothing more to say
You're out of your mind
You're losing control now
I've never mistreated you before
You slammed the door, while I was waiting
Remember how it was before
"Les nuits, l'amour, Paris"
Dance, dance, dance dance
'Till the night has gone
Dance, dance, dance dance
'Till the night has gone

“And 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and shake, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and turn 2, 3, 4, and strike!” and they did as I said.
Just to fill you in, my name is Bella Swan, and I am 22. I am a dance teacher/choreographer, today is Tuesday and I am teaching my Hip-Hop dance crew. “Alright, take five.” I called to the panting men and women. They were good, just not good enough. “Okay, while you all are taking a break I need to just make a couple of announcements… we will be having auditions for a music video next month, so if you are interested I am leading extra classes over the weekend, so give me a call or sign the sheet that is hanging next to the front door. And second, I wanted to let you all know that we will be having a new couple joining us next Tuesday. Some of you know the woman; she is in our Wednesday and Thursday classes. And lastly, I would like to say that I will be performing at Central Park on Friday night, with my group and you are all welcome to come and watch. ”
“Hey Bells!” I turned to see Karmen, one of my best students, looking at me with curious eyes.
“Who is the music video for?” a couple more heads looked up to me with a questioning look.
“Do you really wanna know?”
“Yeah,” a couple of them said, while the others just nodded.
“Soulja Boy’s ‘Kiss Me Through The Phone.’”
“That’s so cool!”
“Yup, and if any of you plan on auditioning, we need to get back to class.”
The rest of the class, and the two classes after that went by in a blur.As I was closing up I heard the phone ring. I ran to the phone, with out tripping, and answered.
“Hello, this is Bella of Eastern Dance Center, how may I help you?”
“You can help me by putting on more clothes for class.”
“I’m just kidding Bells. Hey it’s Billy. Want to go out tonight?”
“Hello to you too and I don’t know, I’m pretty tired. I had three classes tonight and I just-”
“Great, I’ll pick you up and 7:30.” I looked up at the clock. 6:48 (pm)
“Billy that’s in less than an hour!” I whined.
“Well then you better hurry.”
“Ugh! What would you do if I said no?”
“Then…. I don’t know, but then I’ll be with all the guys, and you don’t want me to be with any other girls do you?”
“NO- er. I mean: no I would not appreciate that.”
“Good, so 7:30
Yup.”And we hung up. Billy is my boyfriend. He has blonde hair and brown eyes, and these really cute snake bite piercing.
I live in New York and I have lost most of my clumsiness from consecutive years of dancing my irritation and hurt out.
And yes, Edward is currently NOT with me. But he didn’t leave me, I left him. Yeah, I know CRAZY, huh? Well when he came back we always fought. And it was always about my transformation.
He said no, I said yes.
He said no, I wouldn’t marry him.
He said no, I said I can’t do this any more.
He said I love you, I said well apparently not enough to want to keep me around forever, and so I left.
He never called me like he said he would, I cried every night for my whole first year of Community College.
I left Forks to go to college, and graduate at UNY.
He sent me a letter saying he still loved me, I replied, saying that I wanted to see him face to face.
He remained invisible.
He e-mailed me, I read it.It said:
I miss you, We need to see one another. With all my love, Edward.
He sent that to me three days ago! I replied saying that he should call me on my cell phone, and I gave him my number. I have yet to receive that call. I walked slowly through the big room with a glass wall over looking the crazy streets of New York, and shut off every light switch, and was making my way out of the door, when my phone vibrated.
I looked down and noticed it was a text from Jacob:
Hey Bells, I miss you. Please come home. The blood suckers still haven’t tried coming back and you know if they do I’ll have HIS head on a stick. Please.
Jacob, I’m happy here. I have a boyfriend, a job and an apartment. I’m moving on. And if you want me so bad, come and get me.I knew that I didn’t really want Jake to come get me, but I knew he wouldn’t dare coming to New York and being so far away from his dad and all his gang.
I sighed and made my way down the busy street and to my apartment. I quickly showered and changed into a blue v neck and black skinnies. And before I knew it Billy was outside. I skipped down my steps and jumped into his arms.
“Hey.” He said catching me.
“Hey.” I answered, giving him a light kiss on the lips.
“For sure.” He chuckled settling me down, then he grabbing my hand as I closed the door. He was a model so he always had a fun car, whether it was his or a friends or bosses that needed to be shown off a bit. So tonight he led me over to a charcoal 2009 Nissan GT-R. His car reminded me of HIM, and THEM. I took a deep breath as he opened the door for me.
“Whose car is this?” I asked as I got into the warm leather seat.“Boss. But I like it a lot and might get one for myself.”
“I like it too.”The next moments of the drive were silent, until he broke it.
“What’s the matter?”
“Huh? Oh nothing.”
“I can see right through you.” he said and I knew he could.“It’s not important.”
“I want to know. I can’t have a good time tonight knowing there is something or someone else on your mind.”I looked at him
“Billy. There is no someone else. I’m just a little stressed out from work.”
“Dancing in short shorts can be so dreadful.” He said sarcastically.
“Seriously what’s wrong?”
“I don’t want to talk about it, it’ll ruin the night. I just need a drink then I’ll forget all about it.” I said smiling. It must have been convincing cause he smiled back and pushed the pedal down until the speedometer went to 65We reached ‘The Pink Elephant’ (our favorite club) about 10 minutes later, and parked.
We went to the line, and got right in, being such regulars.
“Do you want to dance first or get a drink?” Billy asked me.
“Dance first; I need to shake a bit.” I was going to have fun tonight. I just needed to let loose.
“This is my favorite song!” yelled he over the music. I listened to the words a little more closely after that. It was Cyclone by Baby Bash.
As we reached the dance floor he grabbed my hips and moved them around. I started to relax as I got used to it. Before I knew it I was doing fine and just dancing and not thinking. By the time the song was over three guys asked me if I wanted to dance with them. I always said no though. Thinking to myself that Billy is way hotter than they are anyways.
Multiple songs went on before we even got drinks, but I felt amazing as the rush went into my system and my brain loosened a bit. I was having a lot of fun, and not even thinking about HIM until I bumped into a hard muscular chest.I turned, just wanting to say sorry but decided that I really didn’t want to talk to him. I started to walk away, but an iron vice grip held onto my arm.
“Bella.” It sounded sharp and strangled.I stood so I was facing him, biting my lip, and letting my fear show through my eyes, and I folded my arms over my exposed chest.
“What are you do-”
“Oh there you are. Goodness Edward, you’re hard to find in this mob.” Said a blonde haired bimbo.
I glanced at Edward, my eye brows raised, and I let a single humorless laugh escape my lips.
“Bel-” he started, but I just turned back around quickly and found Billy standing at the bar.
I took a few drinks and kissed him lightly, “Want to dance some more?” He just nodded setting down his drink. As we walked toward the floor I pushed my chest out a little more and danced as sexy as I was able to. I could tell Billy wasn’t minding it at all, but I felt more than one set of eyes on me as we danced.
I stood a little straighter and turned to face Billy. I quickly glanced making sure that he was watching I launched my mouth onto Billy’s. Our lips moved sensually and sweet first, but then became more erotic. Him biting my lip, me sucking his tongue, and vice versa. I pulled away, gasping for breath. He smiled at me and said huskily, “I didn’t know you had that in you babe.”
I giggled and said simply, “We all have our hidden talents. Just some of ours are a little more physical than other’s.” I gave him one last sweet kiss and then excused myself to go freshen up. When I opened the door to the powder room I saw the bimbo.
I immediately turned around, but it was too late and she had already approached me.
“What is going on between you and Edward?” she hissed.
“He’s one of my ex’s.”
“Are you sure you two aren’t some sort of secret lovers?” she said with a squinty-eyed glare.
“Ha ha. Don’t be ridiculous. We broke up 6 years ago.”
“Hmm. Okay well stay away from him. I can’t have him distracted tonight. It’s a special night for us.”
I knew that I would easily be able to take her out if needed, but why would I? He doesn’t love me, he left me. And if she is okay with him not growing older and her having gray hair, than that’s alright with me.
“Oh, um excuse me?” I called before she opened the door to leave.
She heaved a frustrated sigh, “Wendy. My name is Wendy.”
“Okay, Wendy. Will you do mean a favor and say hello his family for me, Bella. I miss them all so much.”
Her eyes got all wide, “You met his family?”
“Yeah, on our first date.”
“UGH! We have been together for 6 months and I still haven’t talked to them at all. Stupid Edward Mansen.” With that she walked out of the room.I laughed at first, but then started to cry.
Why did he have to be here? Why did he have to bring her? Why. Why. Why?
I quickly fixed my make up and straightened out my hair. He moved on, and I have seen him with his new girlfriend. I can move on too. Plus it’s their special night; what ever that means.
I sighed and opened the bathroom door, and made my way to the bar stool the Billy was at.
“Sorry, I got caught up talking about… to an old friend.”
“Do you want to go. You look tired.”
“Yeah, that would probably be best.”
We made our way to the car quickly, for it was a cold winter and late at night. “Are you going to finally sleep over tonight?” he asked me with a smile that suggest more than sleep. I thought about it for a while. I was still a virgin. And he knew that.
“I understand if you are still uncomfortable with having sex-”
“What?” he asked incrediously.
"Yes, I want to sleep over tonight, just can we stop at my apartment so I can pick up some clothes?”
