Bella has been upstairs crying for about a week now. Edward has been out hunting for the dog. I’m going to talk to Bella right now. I knock on the door. “Go away!” she screams.

I walk in, she doesn’t hear me. “Bella, please stop crying.” I begged her “No!” she yelled. “Alice, a dog, just stole my daughter; do you think I can stop crying for one second?” I knew she would only cry worse when I was done in here.

“Um- Bella? I didn’t tell you everything; he plans to do yet.” She looked shocked, but sat up to listen. “Go on tell me. It can’t get much worse.” Oh yes it can, I thought.

“He plans on…umm… do you really want to know?” I couldn’t possibly tell hurt her like this. Could I? “Tell me, please.” She straightened her face to be serious now.

“Alice, I need to know.” I hesitated. “Jacob,” I growled his name. “Plans on… raping…. Renesmee.” I whispered. “NO! NO! NO! NO!” she screamed. She jumped out of the window, and ran until we hit the state line. She sat in the middle of wherever we were, and cried. She was screaming

“No! No! No! No…” I tried to comfort her. “Bella, It will be okay…” even though it probably wouldn’t be. Esme would start to worry soon; not that she wasn’t already. I picked Bella up, who was still screaming, and crying, and ran her home.

“Edward will be home, when we get there.” I told her, trying to comfort her. She asked me several times, “Why didn’t you tell me?” all I responded with was, “I don’t know. I’m sorry.” And I was sorry. I should have told them. It was their right.

“Bella!” Edward reached for her, in my arms. He had been pacing the porch, waiting for us. I handed him Bella. “What happened?” He asked either Bella or I, I don’t know. I let Bella respond. There was no way I could tell that horrible thing to another person!

I grabbed Jasper by the arm, and pulled him upstairs. “What?” he asked. “I can’t handle this. We have to leave.” I didn’t really want to, but we had to.

“Will we ever come back?” Jasper of all people was worried! “Not right away, no.” he choked “Eventually?”

“Yes, of course.”

We left with my Porsche, two suitcases, and a huge duffel bag filled with cash. We snuck out quietly, no one noticed. Until the endpoint of our hearing, we heard Esme cry “Where did they go?”

Esme ran from upstairs, yelling, “Where did they go?” Carlisle ran to her immediately. “Who Esme?” he pleaded, but I knew who they were. “Alice and Jasper!”

Okay so I thought she meant Renesmee and Jacob. My Bella stopped crying long enough to say “What do you mean, ‘Where did they go’?” Bella was next to Esme.

“Esme-“ Bella pleaded. She finally answered. “They aren’t here- and there suitcases are gone- and- and- Alice’s Porsche is missing!” Esme and Bella were crying.

No one could stand the thought that they were gone. I heard Rosalie cry upstairs for Alice. Emmett was crying, more like moaning, for both of them; Alice, because he could not beat her if she was gone; Jasper because he was the only person that could not cheat in wrestling.

Bella still had not told me why they had run so far. I do not think she plans to either.

2 months later

Today we got contact with Renesmee. It was a letter, with no return address. It read:

Dear Mommy and Daddy,

This is Renesmee, your daughter. I miss you and the rest of my family terribly. Please don’t blame Aunty Alice or Uncle Jasper, for ANY of this. They tried. I cry myself to sleep every night, because I miss you all so much; but those are not the only reasons I cry myself to sleep. I don’t want to tell you all the horrible things I’ve been through. It’s not your fault. I don’t blame anyone but Jacob. Oops. Jacob is coming got to go.

I love you, Renesmee

I must have read that letter 100 times before I let it go. Bella and Esme started to cry, again. I couldn’t blame them.

I wonder what Alice and Jasper are doing? Nessie does not want us to blame them; so we won’t.
