All the way to the cottage (Jake’s sister let him use it for the honeymoon) I felt incredibly guilty. How could I have snapped at Jake, he was only doing right and he had thought of Renee’s welfare too. He looked disappointed with himself when I shouted on the aeroplane, how could I treat him like that.

The cab pulled up outside the small cottage I pulled $20 out of my pocket before Jake could even blink, and handed it to the driver, then got out. Jake had already got the bags out of the boot and was halfway down the path when I grabbed his arm. He turned around and looked at me with big, black eyes, how could I resist, I threw my arms around him and hugged him tightly.

“Jake please forgive me I’m so sorry,” I began. “I didn’t mean to throw a fit in the plane it just came a bit of a shock to me. I love you so much and don’t know how I could treat you so badly. I’m so incredibly sorry.”

He dropped the bags on the floor and gave me one of his famous bear hugs, but this time I didn’t complain that I might stop breathing at minute.

“Bells, I will always forgive you,” and he lightly kissed the top of my head. He then put the bags on his back and lifted me into his arms and took me through the front door, the traditional honeymoon way. “I love you,” he whispered in my ear. I dropped out of his arms and we kissed passionately . I’m so glad I married him.

The next day I woke with a gleaming light shining in my eyes. What had Jake broke now? And did I dare to open my eyes? Oh I have to open my eyes at some point so why put it off. Jake stood over me with a big grin on his face, he was holding a flash torch above his head.

“Wakie, Wakie, were going hiking.” And he pulled my up. “I got up extra early to get the kit from a sports shop round the corner, what was it called…Newton’s?”

“Ok,” I said, still feeling guilty about yesterday.

After I had been in the shower, put my clothes on that Jake had just brought, and fell over a couple of time I was ready to go.

“Bells you know when I said you were safe, yesterday,” his voice was thick.

“Yeah,” I said, looking out the window of the rented car.

“Well…um….this morning I found out there is vampires here too,” there was worry in his voice.

“Wh-,” I began.

“But we’re safe. These vampires are the only vampires are ‘vegetarians’. They don’t feed on humans only animals. Centuries ago my ancestors made a treaty with their family, don’t worry they won’t hurt you. Because I wont let you out of my sight,” I had to trust Jake this time. And I did.

“Ok,” I said with a sigh. We sat there not talking for five minutes, only listening to the trashy radio music.

“We’re here,” Jake boomed as we pulled up in a small parking lot next to a vast forest. The tree’s toward far into the sky like it was something out of fairytale.

“Its so beautiful,” I muttered to myself.

“I know,” Jake must of heard me.

He went round to the back of the hired car and got out all the supplies that he brought earlier that day. But as I turned my head I couldn’t help but notice the beautiful boy who was leaning against a sparkling, silver car in the corner of the parking lot. He was so beautiful. He had pale white skin, even paler than mine, and his copper hair was messy, but still incredibly beautiful at the same time. He had jet black eyes and big purple circles underneath them, like he hadn’t slept for days. And he was looking straight at me! His face had a composed look on, but his eyes had a confused-anger look in them (if that even was a look). I couldn’t tare my eyes away from his and by the looks of it neither could he. I felt a rush of red come to my cheeks as I couldn’t believe how incredibly hot he was!!! No how could I think like that, I had just got married. I love my husband. But when I was thinking that a short, pixie like girl came skipping over and pecked him on the cheek before giving him a hug. What was I thinking, of course he’s got a girlfriend, he’s so unbelievably gorgeous. Jake came around and opened my door.

“You ready?” he asked.

“Yep,” I said trying to sound enthusiastic.

All the way there I couldn’t stop thinking about that boy back at the parking lot. Why would he stare at me for so long if he had a girlfriend? I suspect he was just staring at my stupidness. Yeah that sounded pretty true, I would just keep telling myself that. Anyway I loved Jake and I always will do, he truly did like me for who I was.

“Jake,” I said, when he had stopped to look at the map. He wasn’t giving me his full attention. “I love you.” He turned to me and pulled me in for one of his famous bear hugs.

“I love you too,” and he kissed the top of my head. “I just wish I could read this damn map. I mean, how do you tell one tree from the next?”

“I don’t know,” I said while returning the hug. “Maybe we should just go back to the house.”

“Yeah, we’re just going to get more lost if we carry on hiking.”

As we made our way through the forest and towards the parking lot and I wondered if that angel- I mean boy, was still there. Probably not, why would he be still there.

I could see the light peeking through the trees, we must be coming nearer to the parking lot. But as we entered, I felt a pang of disappointment as I realised he wasn’t there. Why was I feeling guilt, I have told myself thousands of times I love Jacob and always will do. I have no idea what’s wrong with me today.

We both got in the car and drove back to the house.

“So Bells, what do you want to do when we get back to the house?” Jake said out of the silent ness. “Its only 3.”

“Well we could….,” then I realized, with Jake moving the honeymoon to Forks we had nothing to do. In Jacksonville we had loads planned, Scuba Diving, Horse-Back Riding, Rock climbing, etc. This honeymoon was going to be so boring. “What do you want to do?” I said still searching for idea’s.

“Well I saw this great film in Wal-Mart the this morning, so I got it. You wanna watch it?” he said, hopefully.

“Yeah, sure,” I said, not wanting to disappoint him. “What’s it called?”

“Camilla. Anyway its about this chick vampire who goes around and sucks the blood out of all these guys.” Jake sounded truly interested in it.

“Yeah sure I’ll watch that,” I lied. I really didn’t want to watch a film with dead people, and especially vampires. It will just remind me of Renee’s diary and what them LEECHES wanted to do to me.

When we got to the house it was freezing cold, I must of forgot to leave the heating on. Jake bounded up to the kitchen cupboard and got the film out. He than ran over to the DVD player and popped the disc inside. Of course Jake wasn’t effected by the coldness of the house, he was permanently red hot. This was one of the up-sides of having a werewolf as a husband.

The film started and 5 minutes into it I fell asleep, how could I not Jake was so warm and cosy. I felt like I had been asleep for 5 seconds, when Jake woke me up.

“The movies finished,” he said. Obviously I had been asleep for over 2 hours. “It was great Bells! You should have watched it. Anyway its 11:30 we should go to bed.”

“Yeah,” I agreed.
