Cali's POV
Today is one of the happiest days of my life. I'm turning seventeen and I love it. My boyfriend bought me some roses and got me a necklace with a diamond treble clef on it. My aunt got me a guitar strap engraved with my name in old script and my uncle got me a new piano book.
********
My name is Cali Cullen and this is my story.
When I was five I was at home in my mansion. It was too big in my eyes and too extravagant. I was in no need of much money but my parents insisted on spoiling me. My parent's names were Joanne Cullen and Mark Cullen. They were both doctors in England. They traveled a lot and I was always left with a nanny. I didn't like being alone but I had to endure it...for my parents. They deserve it.
I was waiting at home on a crisp February morning in 1997 and I was playing with my dolls in my living room, or should I say ballroom. I heard a loud knocking sound and I saw my nanny at the time, Sarah, go to the door. She answered. I only heard parts of it like ‘dead', ‘where will she go', and ‘Oh, poor child'. I was utterly confused. What was happening? Then I saw the police come into the room.
"Cali, sweetie, we have some rather...disturbing...news for you." The police officer sighed and looked at me with sorrowful eyes. I was still confused. "You're parents will not be coming home again. They were in a rather gruesome plane accident and did not survive. I am terribly sorry for your loss, dear child. You will, however, be staying with your Auntie Beth and Uncle Morris Cullen." The officer said. He looked pained, probably for the loss of a wonderful doctor. He wouldn't miss them as I would. I had burst into tears as I heard the horrid news. Indeed, I did love my auntie and uncle but I wanted to stay here, in England and not go to the small town of Forks, Washington.

I left on a plane and met them. They greeted and hugged me and brought a teddy bear for me. It was a panda bear, my favorite animal. I had always loved my auntie and uncle for knowing exactly everything about me. I grew up with them. Living with them was great. They distracted me from my sorrow and worries. I had started at school there when I got there. I grew up there and learned to love the icy cold weather that was forecasted for everyday other than some periodic sun. I had started in high school when I turned fifteen and made many friends. I was always the popular one. I was a blonde with slight waves and high cheekbones. I had a curvy body and filled out lips. I have golden eyes that make me unique. I love everyone I know. They are all so sweet. I know a girl named Angela. She is very shy. When she moved here I took it as my need to get to know her. She didn't have many friends but I liked her anyhow. I also knew a snotty, brat named Jessica. She thought of herself as the prettiest girl in Forks. Though she knew I was the one in Forks that everyone thought of as a model. I don't date though, so it's not like I need it. I'm also a waitress in Port Angeles. The restaurant is La Bella Italia. It is my favorite restaurant and I was happy to work there.

Meanwhile... (End of Cali's life story intro.)
"Cali, we need you at table five!" My boss, Mary called out to me.
"Okay, I'm on my way!" I shouted back. I grabbed my apron and left with the notebook and pen in my hand. Table five was a group table and I was always set up to do those tables. They were normally for sixteen people. There sat a row of eight people. All were gorgeous and had golden eyes like mine. They were all deathly pale. They looked...unique. There was a blonde with a caramel colored hair woman. And then there was a pixie-like girl with a man that looked in pain. Then there was a girl that looked like a model with a bulky boy that was slightly intimidating but not scary at all. Then there sat, a gorgeous girl with chocolate colored hair with a bronze haired boy. He was gorgeous and looked like he was in love with the girl. She looked in love with him as well. They were what one could call, a perfect couple. They looked so happy and complete.
"Hello, my name is Cali and I will be your waitress tonight. What may I get you?" I said in my slightly British accent. I noticed all of them narrow their eyes at my name tag but thought nothing of it.
"Um, nothing at the moment. We are waiting for some people to come. We will order then, thank you, Cali." The man with blonde hair stated. He was looking into my eyes and looked shocked. I went back to my position to waiting other tables and noticed the eight people still staring at me. There lips were moving but it looked as if they were twitching.
Edward's POV
My family and I were going to La Bella Italia, Bella's favorite restaurant as a human, to meet some humans and discuss the secret they now knew about us. The secret of vampires, in which they knew about. I heard the boss, Mary, I assume, call out to someone ‘Cali, we need you at table five!'. I noticed that we were seated at table five so she would be waiting tables for us. I heard her thoughts as she came by.
‘She's a gorgeous girl with luscious chocolate colored hair with a bronze haired boy. He is so gorgeous and he looks like he is in love with the girl. She looks in love with him as well. They are what one could call, a perfect couple. They look so happy and complete. They make my heart warm so much!' Her thoughts pleased me. They were directed so kindly to Bella. The one thing that shocked me was that she looked so much like Carlisle. She has blonde hair, piercing, golden eyes and the last name...CULLEN! We were the only ones with that last name! She also had a bite mark on her neck. It looked like a vampire bite. When she came to a stop at our table she introduced herself.
"Hello, my name is Cali and I will be your waitress tonight. What may I get you?" She said in a British accent. Just like Carlisle's.
"Um, nothing at the moment. We are waiting for some people to come. We will order then, thank you, Cali." Esme said in a sweet voice. The girl nodded and smiled and turned around to walk away. I turned to all of them as she walked away. They were all staring at her, jaws dropped.
"Carlisle, she looks so much like you! Did you see the bite mark on her arm as well?" Emmett bellowed. Carlisle was still stunned.
"Carlisle?" Esme asked.
"Carlisle..." Jasper said.
"Carlisle." Rosalie and Emmett both said.
"Carlisle, are you okay?" I asked.
Carlisle shook his head and looked at us. "My apologies, I'm slightly stunned. She reminds me of one of my relatives. I've met many of them in my past years. She just reminds me of my sister. And yes, Emmett, I saw the bite mark. I have a theory that is more than eighty percent right." Carlisle stated.
