.She's Not In-between, Just Other.
There's a visitor in Forks, but she's definitely no tourist. That appears to be all that’s definite, though. Well…that and her stunning beauty. Can the Cullens figure out just exactly who or what she is? Could her mysterious male companions provide the answers? Set a decade or so after Breaking Dawn ends…Renesmee is full grown (and married to Jacob) and the wolf pack at La Push has grown significantly. Apart from that, everything is pretty much the same…
I don't own Twilight, unfortunately. I do, however, own Freyvarr. Her soul is mine! Muhahaha!

"Someone is coming," stated Alice blankly, her eyes fixated in an area of space. Bella turned. Deep in conversation with Renesmee, she hadn't noticed Alice's less buoyant presence or the glazed look that had come over Edward. Evidently he too had watched the vision.
"Who is it?" she asked "Volturi?"
"No," replied Edward firmly, "Someone else. Something else."
Freyvarr took a moment to extend her senses into the environment, following the relevant paths of a bountiful stream of information in her mind.
To the east.
Approaching at speed.
This complicated things. She halted and waited for the two males to catch up.
"What is it?" muttered Infidus as his muscled frame appeared beside her, "We don't have time for this."
"Calm, my little biteling, it will only be a small holdup. It’s the wolves. I thought this might happen." She waited until Maracus emerged from the trees behind before continuing. "Just try to restrain yourselves and let me do the talking. We wouldn't want to be upsetting the wolves -"
"The wolves?" interrupted Maracus, his bright scarlet eyes alive with a concoction of fear and exhilaration.
"Yes, the wolves. I did say that, baby." She glanced disappointedly at their anxious expressions. "Look, just don’t you two get involved. I can handle the wolves. They're not as bad as everyone makes out in the city, my little fanglets."
"Not as bad as they make out?" said Infidus incredulously, "They took out half of Maestria's Clan and Maestria. If they can take out Maestria and her spawn then we don't have a chance."
"Quiet, Infidus. I am sick of this nonsense. They are almost here."
Jesus thought Jacob, they smell worse than the Cullens. Definitely blood suckers.
How many are there? thought Reon nervously.
Only three, I reckon, replied Jacob, and don't worry about it. I know this is your first time with the pack, but we can definitely take on three.
There was a moment of silence between the pack as they moved swiftly towards their goal.
You're right you know, said Embry in an attempt to break the awkward thought tension, these ones do stink worse than the Cullens. I didn't even think that was possible…
What? You said it first! I wasn't referring to Renesmee…
They soon entered a dark clearing. Tall trees imposed on the area of ferny foliage, stretching their warped black tendrils over it and hiding it from the gleam of an inviting moon above. The scene was surprisingly tranquil, but was ruined by the sting of vampire scent that Reon could feel in his nostrils.
Then they appeared, three vampires; one female and two males. The two black-haired males, one muscular and one lean, hung back in the gloom of the trees, but the female came forward into a patch of scattered starlight. Reon had never seen anything so beautiful. Her skin was not only pale, but a pure glimmering white that moved like soft silk across her muscles, caressing every sinew and curve with each movement that she made. Her hair, blonde and loosely curled, had been looped into an intricate yet haphazard style, held together by half a dozen wild flowers. The blooms of these flowers framed her face and adorned her hair as if she had been crowned by Mother Nature herself. Her elegant, feminine figure had been half disguised by a long white dress. Not quite opaque and desperately light, however, any movement of her body under that dress made her slender form all too obvious. Her eyes were a deep, intense ruby colour and set in a face that was…beyond imagination.
Reon gazed longingly at the smooth skin, her deep eyes and those scarlet lips. It was strange. He knew that vampires should be dangerous, but he couldn't seem to feel any threat from her. Quite the opposite. Every part of her seemed to radiate innocence. She might be strong, yes, but she was also…fragile. Like she needed protection… almost…almost like she needed…his protection…
Tell me you're kidding me! shouted a voice from somewhere.
Ignorant voice. Silly, interrupting voice. Beautiful vampire…needs his protection…his love…his care…
Jacob, in the name of all that is sanity, please tell me that boy isn't imprinting!
Needing to be near her…his love…protect her…
Oh no you don't!
Reon, you could have chosen better timing!
Let's just kill her anyway…
We can't! The imprinting!
Reon started. His love was in danger. Before his body consulted his mind, he was already in the centre of the clearing between his friends and his vampire. He savoured that phrase momentarily. His vampire. The tension of the other werewolves brought him back to the situation. No one had moved, but he could feel their silent threat. Let them try. Five werewolves versus three vampires and a werewolf didn’t sound like such uneven odds. Not when that one werewolf was prepared to fight to the death. He growled deeply, barely noticing that he was doing it until he realised that the alarming sound was emanating from within his own throat. Now calm down, Reon, thought Jacob, keen to avoid conflict in the pack, No one has to get hurt here -
Er Jakes?!? Excuse me! Vampires! interrupted Quil,
- we can just consult the Cullens on this one…there's no need to get distressed…
Mine. No touch. No hurt. Mine. My vampire. My beautiful. Mine. thought Reon, unable to muster anything other than simple words.
It's fine, I promise I won't hurt her unless I have to, replied Jacob, his bulky wolf form taking a demonstrative step backwards. Reon growled again. I promise you, Reon. I know what it's like, remember... Renesmee…
Hmmm…I don’t seem to remember any of us threatening to kill Renesmee.
I know, I know. Please trust me though. Let's just wait for the Cullens. They're probably on their way already…
