I was heading to my car when a figure blocked my path.

"What do you want?"

"I just read your stuff. It's good" he sounded surprised.

"Well, you finally did something. To bad I don't actually care," I said. I tried to side step him but he blocked me again. I put my hand on my hips and raised an eyebrow.

"Can I please get to my car?"

"I wanted to apologize to you without any interruptions"

"Apologize away! Tell me when you're finished," I said, looking away.

"Well, I had a family crisis last night and I didn't know your phone number so I couldn't call you. Now, will you let me make it up to you?"

"There's no point seeing as I've done the work already"

"I was actually thinking about inviting you round to watch a movie this weekend, as an apology"

"I hardly know you, you don't need to apologize" I didn't want to seem too eager.

"How am I supposed to get to know you if you won't talk to me?" he said.

"What were you planning on watching?" I asked, sounding as if the entire subject bored me.

"Umm...Dracula?"

"The original version or the remake? Or is it that spoof version, Dracula dead and loving it?"

"No. The original. You certainly know a lot about the Dracula movies"

"So I've been told"

"Who told you that?"

"You did"

"So will you come?"

"Where, you haven't actually invited me anywhere"

"Fine. Alice, will you please come round to my house this weekend to watch a Dracula movie and get sick on popcorn?"

"Yes! Why didn't you ask before?" I teased him. He groaned and rolled his eyes.

"I'll pick you up at seven"

"The Dracula movie is pretty long, so it'll be late when it finish's. Maybe I should drive myself, because you'll probably want to go to sleep after"

"What gave you that idea?"

"Last time I watched Dracula with a boy, he was asleep during the opening credits. And I ended up having to spend the night there because he drove me. It was not pleasant"

"I'll drive you" he laughed, "I promise I won't fall asleep, and if I do you can wake me up"

"Actually, I probably wouldn't. From what I've heard, your house is secluded and I wouldn't mind nosing around while you're asleep"

"Now I'm definitely staying awake!" he said. We laughed. I noticed Cara was standing by my car uncertainly.

"Um...I think I have to go," I pointed to Cara.

"Okay. Well, I'll see you on Saturday evening?"

"Certainly"

"Did you find out why he stood you up?" asked Cara when I was near her. Jasper was still in hearing distance and when I shot him a glance, he smirked.

"Yeah...family crisis" I mumbled.

"So...how are things going with the whole...?" I cut her off before she blew my cover

"Cara! It's none of your business so shut up!" she shut up. When we'd left the car park, I apologized.

"You really need to work on keeping your cover Cara, or you'll never pass"

"So, how is it going?"

"Fine. I think I have a plan forming but I need to find out more before I can put it into action"

"Okay"
