On the surface

Niam has no one, except the memories of her dead parents. On the surface she seems fine. hardworking, friendly. but she's not. she's upset with herself. And lonely. She needs someone who will look into her soul and save what she has left. Teen rating for darkness...

This was exceptionally easy to write. So lots of updates i hope. This is before Bella comes on the scene (and no, Edward is not going to get off with Niam) and before the Cullen's go to Forks.

I finished my deer. The weekend had gone surprisingly quickly. I couldn't believe it was Sunday already. Normally the hours away from Alice dragged to feel like months.
"Jasper, do you mind going back on your own? Rosalie and I want to stay behind for a bit" Emmett called. I nodded.
"Do you want the jeep or shall I drive it back?"
"Do you mind if we take it?" I didn't mind. Especially not knowing what they were going to do in it. I ran back. The cool air whipping beside me was fantastic. I stopped by a lake and went in for a swim. I was fully clothed but who cared. I had another shirt, Alice always made sure of that. I swam across the lake before diving to the centre of the lake. I just lay there. Not having to breathe was great. Eventually I swum to the surface and carried on back home. I took off my shirt but it's not like anyone was going to see me. I ran back to the house and stopped. No one else was home that I could see. I unlocked the door and stepped in. Then I froze. I heard a loud banging noise, and a splintering noise like furniture being broken in half. I took a tentative step and listened again. There was a small groan. I crept forward again. I slunk up the stairs. There was a louder groan that made me freeze again, outside my bedroom door.
"Oh yeah" I heard a voice whisper.
"Oh come on. Just start already" replied another voice.
"Are you sure you really want me to? Maybe you'd just be happier to go off and find Jasper" I recognized the voice now. It was Edward.
"Oh come on Edward. You know I only love you. He's just there!" if I had a beating heart, it would have stopped. It was Alice.
"Are you going to break up with him?" Edward asked.
"If I did that...this...wouldn't...feel...so...damn...good!" I could only assume the pauses that it was punctuated with were kisses. Or worse.
"Mmmm...that is true. This is great, the risk makes it better," he said. I couldn't stand it any longer. I darted over and wrenched open the door. Alice was reclined on the bed in our room, completely naked. Edward was hovering over her in his boxers. Alice's underwear was ripped to shreds on the floor. Alice's eyes flicked over to me and bored into mine.
"What's wrong baby. You don't want me any more?" Alice didn't reply.
"Maybe I just need to relight your spark Alice, what do you think?" Edward said. I spotted the headboard, snapped into large chunks. I couldn't be silent any longer.
"What the hell is this?" I said. Edward jerked up.
"Ah...Jasper" he said. Alice seized her dressing gown and covered herself with it.
"Alice and I were just testing out her new bed," said Edward.
"Save your crap Edward, you son of a bitch. You knew Alice was the only girl for me! And Alice, you little whore! I thought you cared about me! But I see you're just a slut trying to get some wherever you can"
"Why are you shouting at me? It takes two to tango," she said.
"I'm shouting at you because you cheated on me! I'm mad at Edward too! I hate you both! Alice, you're a total bitch and Edward you are a bastard! I wish you'd both go and die!" I ran out of the room and into the forest. I hated them. I had trusted and loved Alice. I had trusted Edward too, and they had both betrayed me!
