For the Love of Renesmee

Teenage Nessie Bella and Edward return to Isle Esme for their second honeymoon, leaving Renesmee back in Forks all alone with Jacob. Bella wants to tell Charlie and Renee what she, the Cullens, and Renesmee are, but Edward is dead set against it. Will Bella go against Edward's wishes about keeping quiet at the cost of changing her parents? And can Edward control himself around Jacob? Slightly OOC. Not much though. Slightly AU. Some Lemons. A little graphic in later chapters. I made the banner. So, I've been thinking about writing a series out of this story, so I need your opinion. Tell me in a review if you think that I should continue with it or not.

Edward's POV

I shut the phone with a sharp snap. Bella came over and sat on the bed. I still couldn't get used to her beauty. It was way to over-powering. But I loved it.

"Who was that?" she asked me, brushing some of the down out of my hair.

"Renesmee. She wanted to know when we were coming home. I told her we'd be there later today."

"Speaking of Renesmee," Bella said, getting back up off of the bed. "I've got some old clothes in the closet that I know that I'm never going to wear again, and I know that Renesmee needs some new clothes. She just keeps growing so fast. There's really no need to go and buy her a new wardrobe every three days."

Her voice became muffled as she searched through the bottom of the closet. It took her a few minutes, but when she returned, her arms were laden with various articles of clothing. I recognized most of what she had in her arms, but some of it had to be what Alice had bought for her.

"Do you think Renesmee will like this?" Bella asked. "I just want her to know why I'm giving her these things. I don't want them to go to waste. I'd like a little bit of my human life to still be there. Hopefully she'll appreciate it."

I got off the bed and walked over to her and took the clothes out of her hands. I set them on the bed and then took her face in my hands.

"She'll appreciate anything you do for her because you're her mother. She loves you for your imperfections. She love you for you." I kissed her on top of her head and walked into the closet. I grabbed our bags and a spare one and then set them on the bed. I put the bundle of Bella's "human clothes" in the spare bag and zipped it up. I took the bags out to the boat that was waiting on the dock.

"Wait for me," Bella called. "I've just got to find something else that I know I left here."

I got into the boat and started it up, letting it idle softly. Bella took a while, and just when I decided to go help her, she came out of the cottage, stowing something in her shoulder bag. She got out the keys and turned to swiftly lock the door. She practically skipped to the boat and hopped lightly inside.

"What were you getting?" I asked her, slightly amused.

"Oh, nothing," she said airly, waving her hand in front of her.

"Don't make me look for my self," I warned her. She opened her bag and drew out an old and battered copy of Wuthering Heights. "Why did you get that?"

"I want Renesmee to read it," she said simply. "You know it's one of my favorite books. I just thought she'd like to read it and enjoy it just as I did."

"Okay then," I said. I pulled the boat away from the dock with ease. It was about an hour's boat ride to the mainland. Bella opened the book and started to read from the begining. By the time we got to the airport she was already done. "You actually read that whole book?"

"Yeap. Didn't take me long, did it?"

"Not really."

I pulled into the dock on the mainland. There sat our private jet on the tiny airstrip along the beach.

Bella's POV

Once we landed in Seattle, I saw Renesmee and Jacob standing in the lobby of the airport. Edward must have called them when I was immersed in my book. I just shut everything out when I'm reading.

"Jake! Renesmee!" I yelled, ignoring the looks from the tired people around me. They both ran over and hugged me tightly, Renesmee a little harder than necessary.

"I missed you, mom," Renesmee said, hugging tighter still. But it did not bother me one bit.

"Me, too," Jake said, grinning my special grin. Edward just scowled at him. Edward still did not like Jake that much, but they were on better terms than before.

Honestly, I have no idea of what Edward would do to Jacob if Jake left Renesmee just as Edward had left me. The only real thing that I know is that Jake would have hell to pay if he left her. Edward would see to that. They'd probably do some unspeakable things to each other. You know, the kinds of things that vampires and werewolves do to each other when they decide to kill.

But everything Edward, Jacob, the rest of the Cullens, and I did were for the love of Renesmee. Edward wanted to protect her from any harm that should happen to befall her; I wanted to guide her through all of her mistakes that she might make in her life; the rest of the Cullens were her support system, encouraging Renesmee to do things to the best of her abilities; Jacob was there to provide a comforting shoulder and a love that would last an eternity. He was also there to catch her when she falls.

But now we were going back home. Back to the familiarity of things. Plus Renesmee gets to start high school. Fun...
