For the Love of Renesmee

Teenage Nessie Bella and Edward return to Isle Esme for their second honeymoon, leaving Renesmee back in Forks all alone with Jacob. Bella wants to tell Charlie and Renee what she, the Cullens, and Renesmee are, but Edward is dead set against it. Will Bella go against Edward's wishes about keeping quiet at the cost of changing her parents? And can Edward control himself around Jacob? Slightly OOC. Not much though. Slightly AU. Some Lemons. A little graphic in later chapters. I made the banner. So, I've been thinking about writing a series out of this story, so I need your opinion. Tell me in a review if you think that I should continue with it or not.

Bella’s POV

When we got home that night I made it a mental note to call Charlie and Renee when the hour was reasonable enough. It was about time they knew. We would have to wait until Renee was able to make it up so that we, Edward and I, could tell them together at the same time that way one of them could give the other a heads up about what was coming. That way both of them could freak out at the same time instead of one of them knowing and the other being in the dark for a little while longer. It was only fair.

I’ve tried to talk to Alice about it to see if she can see anything that might happen just so I know what to prepare for, but she won’t say one word about it. Maybe she’s just as dead – set against it as Edward is. Or maybe Edward bribed her with something in exchange for her silence. Either way, I was getting it out of her. Maybe a shopping spree would loosen her lips…

I was running through the woods towards Alice’s house. I had a purse under my arm and high stilettos on my feet. Running in them wasn’t as bad as it looked. But seeing as how I just made up my mind about taking Alice shopping she wouldn’t have time to change her mind about it. She probably wouldn’t even have enough time to “see” me coming. I laughed softly to myself.

I was just jumping over the creek that ran along their back yard when I saw that Alice was coming out of the house with her purse in hand. This wouldn’t be as hard as I thought it was going to be…

“Hey, Alice,” I said, walking up onto the porch at a human’s pace.

“Are you really taking me shopping?” she asked me timidly, batting her long eyelashes at me.

“Yes, Alice. Believe it or not, I’m actually taking you shopping. Is it really that big of a deal?”

“Yes, Bella, it really is. You never want to go shopping when I do. I was seriously coming over to your place to see if you wanted to go shopping with me.”

“Well, apparently you didn’t have time to “see” me coming. You obviously had shoes on the brain.”

“I’ll admit I did. But that doesn’t mean that I see everything, Bella. You just made your mind up faster than I’m used to. But now that you’re here, there’s no reason for me to see you coming. I saw you running through the woods and thought that you might be going hunting. But as soon as I stepped outside the vision stopped.”

“That’s a little unusual,” I said to her, my forehead creasing in deep thought. “Any way, I needed to get some clothes for Nessie for when she starts school tomorrow.” Nessie. Why, oh why did Jake have to nickname her after the Loch Ness Monster?

“Are we going to Seattle?” she asked me with a grin.

“Yes. The malls are just bigger there.”

We both laughed at my remark and intertwined arms when we skipped to Alice’s yellow Porsche. Just seeing her car reminded me of that day in Volterra. I ran away from the car and into the insurmountable crowd that snapped and bit at my attempts to get to the other side. Lord only knows what would have happened if I hadn’t gotten to Edward in the shadows in time. If only that little family weren’t standing there, drawing attention to us. We could have walked out of there without a second look. We could have avoided the interrogations and offers to join the Volturi. I definitely could have went the rest of my life without seeing Heidi practically herding the humans in to be killed when they thought that they were on some sort of tour. I shook my head to clear out the unwanted memories.

“What are you thinking, Bella?” Alice asked me with a soft voice.

“I was just thinking about the first time I rode in a car like this,” I mumbled. I didn’t really know if I wanted to discuss this with Alice. Even though she was there and experienced almost the same things that I did, I wasn’t sure that I wanted to share my views about it. To even think about that time in my human life threatened to rip open the old wound. I knew that Edward was here to stay, but to even think of the possibility that he might leave me left me lonely and wanting to see my Edward even more. “I just can’t believe that the last time I was in a car like this my whole future depended on saving Edward from himself,” I whispered almost mutely. But I knew that Alice would hear it.

“I know, Bella. I know.” She patted my arm soothingly. I loved Alice for this. She just had a tender nature that could make you feel better the instant she touched you. Sometimes I wondered what Alice would be like if she had Jasper’s powers and vice versa.

We wound our way out of Forks. When we passed the convenience store on the way out of town, I saw Renesmee leaving it with Jacob.

“Slow down,” I told Alice, rolling down my window and yelling to Nessie and Jake. “HEY!”

They both whipped around to look at the maniac that was yelling at them. They both burst out laughing when they saw that it was just me. Alice whipped the Porsche into the parking lot and stopped it on a dime right beside of them.

“Hey, Mom,” Renesmee said, leaning into the window of the car. “Hey, Alice. Where are you two going?”

“The mall in Seattle. Wanna come?” Alice asked her, glancing at Jake at the same time.

"Why are you going there?" Renesmee asked with a puzzled look on her face.

"To buy you stuff, silly!" Alice said as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.

"But what's Jake gonna do?" she asked me with saddness in her eyes.

"He can come too," I reassured her, looking at Jake for an anwer.

"Oh, no way!" Jake practically yelled, shaking his head so violently that I thought he was going to faze right then and there. "I don't want to spend the rest of my day being the mule and carrying your bags all day. Uh-nuh. No sir!"

"Calm, Jake, calm. We don't want to scare the humans now do we?"

He just turned on his heel and stormed away. I thought that I saw some shreds of fabric floating to the ground just beyond the tree line.

Seattle was great! We found a LOT of great stuff for Renesmee to wear. I was just glad that we found some things that she could wear for a little while seeing as she's still growing. But Carlisle says that will slow down in the next few months. She's almost "full grown." I couldn't wait.
