I never really believed in myths or love before my arrival to Forks. That belief would soon be over once the I met the Cullens.

I walked into my new home, which was empty, and had no clue I why I was even in Forks. I saw myself in the mirror. I saw my dark brown curls more than half way down my back, my semi-pale skin, my muscular torso, my five foot four inches of body, but last, my birth mother's big brown eyes that matched my hair color. My name is Kristy Sanders, Sanders the last name of my adopted mother.

The woman I called my mother was not my birth mother. My adopted-mother, who I just called my mother always spoke of Forks. She told me of the constant rain and clouds and the large green forests. I guess, after her death I had no choice but to come here. It was the only place I thought I should go. I never new my mother's husband, aka my father. He died before my mother “had” me as we told the public. I didn't mind not having a father because until shortly after my 16th birthday, my mother had always been full of life. Shortly after my 16th birthday, she was diagnosed with Cancer. The rest isn't too hard to figure out. She passed away just a month before I turned 18. Once I turned 18, I packed up most of my things and moved to Forks, Washington. I carried my secret, my most important possession, with me.

I stepped into Forks High School, hoping to hear what I needed, not planning to attend. I saw a few girls maybe age 17 or 18 talking on a bench before school. They were gossiping about the Cullens.

“Yeah, so now her Dad is feeling better because the disease is gone.” the first girl said.

“I still don't think it was a disease....” the other girl replied. Just what I wanted, the Cullens. Now, I just needed to find them.

I always knew I was adopted. The woman that found me in the forest near a woman dead is my my mother though. I don't think of myself as half-vampire, I call my self half human instead.

My vampire father's name is Joham. He came to find me a few years after my birth. He showed me my sisters who treated human life like nothing. I respected human life. I politely declined joining him. He was not happy, but he left. I received news a couple of months ago, telling me that my father was longer. I didn't mind because I did not know him or care for him much. He raised his daughters or my sisters the wrong way, I usually lived off human food, never tasting human blood. They killed as often as they wanted. In my opinion, they were completely bitchy. I really didn't like them. One of them, Alicia, was different, but that was unimportant. She didn't matter.
