Two months had passed. Anthony and Graciella looked as if they were five years old. In a few years, maybe months they would be adults. Maybe, Anthony would phase when he got older. That would make Embry happy. Of coarse, Gracie and Anthony could already walk and talk. The first word out of Anthony's mouth was Dad, then Mom, them Emm, which meant Emmett. Gracie's first word was Mom and Dad, she said them together, then Rose, then Ez, which she used for Esme. Now, they could speak full sentences. “Where's Alice?” was one of Gracie's most used sentences. Alice spoiled her. She always held her and, Alice's favorite, played dress-up which Gracie loved. Anthony loved to play with Emmett, Edward, and Jasper. It was with Emmett when we discovered Anthony's amazing power.

It was just after Carrie and Andrew had left for a while, they needed some space. Emmett was lightly throwing a football with Anthony. Anthony's hands turned red, we thought maybe it was from catching. Suddenly, when he caught the ball, it burst to flames. I screamed, his hands turned a glowing blue, and he froze the charred ball. We were all astonished. Carlisle and Edward were very fascinated. It seemed that Anthony was in control of it. We would say “fire” and he would start a fire. If we said “ice” he would freeze something. It was amazing. Graciella had a power too.

She could crush or move things with her mind. It scared Embry when she looked at him strange, and he went flying at least one-hundred feet in the air. She set him down nicely. She giggled after he was down. We said “up” and she made things go up. Saying “down” made her put something down. She and her brother played a game. She would lift up a can and crush it, and put it in his hands. Once in his hands, he would burn or freeze it. They would clap their hands and giggle. We all laughed with them. Then, we all decided to go on vacation.

We were going to Spain. Jake was bringing Quil, who was bringing Claire, they were going to play the babysitters. Embry and I looked forward to some alone time. Since the twins were born, we hadn't had much time together. I could see Embry missed it since, my skinny body was back. Embry didn't miss my pregnant stomach, as I predicted. Me being back in shape made him want me more. We would leave in one week. Gracie was sleeping with Alice tonight, giving make-overs. Anthony was sleeping in Emmett's room. They promised to keep them completely occupied. Embry was downstairs, saying good bye to Jake. I put on one of the nightwear outfits from our honeymoon. I put on the one I wore on my wedding night. I sat on the bed, waiting. Finally, I heard Embry coming up the stairs. He walked in the room. He took one look at me and ran to wear I was sitting. It pleased me that he still wanted me.

“Well,” I started. “I was wondering what you were doing tonight. The kids are being watched and we are all alone. What could we do?” I talked slowly, seductively. I kissed his throat. Somewhere deep inside his chest, he moaned. I kissed him up from his throat until I found his lips. I ripped his shirt off. His hands were all over my back, going up my shirt. I was on top of him, on the bed.

I woke up to Anthony and Graciella jumping on our bed. “Wake up, wake up, wake up!” they shouted in unison. “Alright I'm up! What do you want?” I asked them, laughing and tickling them. Embry was holding Graciella on his lap now and Anthony sat on my lap. “Mommy, Alice said we can go on vacation tomorrow!” Graciella told me, so excited. I looked to Embry, he nodded.

“Okay. Go tell Alice. Tomorrow.” I told her. She screamed and went to find Alice. I looked to Anthony. “Mom, Emmett said he can beat you up.” he tattled on Emmett. “Hey!” Emmett walked in after eavesdropping. “Oh Emmett, did you say that?” I asked playfully. “Ooh I'm so scared of you.” he said. “Let's go. Outside. Now.” I said. Luckily, I had thrown on a robe. I went to my closet and put on a pair of jeans and a sweatshirt. I walked outside. Emmett was waiting. He crouched in an attack position, so did I. I hissed and pounced on him. We fought for about twenty seconds, my mouth was at his throat. “Gotcha!” I got off of him. “Rematch.” he growled.

“Nah, I don't feel like winning again. Maybe later. Anyone else?” I looked at my family, who had surrounded us. Jasper stepped forward. “May I?” he offered. I crouched in response. His stance has very tense. He sprung first. Our fight lasted a few minutes, I had the element of surprise by jumping at landing on him. I pinned him. Edward stepped forward. Emmett and Jasper made bets.

Our fight went on for at least ten minutes. Then, Graciella threw me into the air, landing me on Edward. I won the fight. Gracie giggled. “How did you know I wanted you to do that?” I asked her. I had been thinking of that. “You told me to.” she looked confused. “I didn't say anything.” I said.

“I heard you say it Mommy.” she said. “Tell me what I say.” I told her. I thought a few sentences.

I love Gracie and Anthony. “I love Gracie and Anthony.” she repeated to me. “You can read minds!” I shouted. I ran to her and picked her up and swung her around. “I can too Mom.” Anthony told me.

“Really? What am I saying?” I asked him. I thought, Can you read my mind, Anthony?

“Can you read my mind, Anthony?” he repeated. I swung them both around. “Embry! My kids can read mind!” I shouted. “That's great.” he replied. We all went in the house to pack for our trip.
