I can’t forget

You’re always gone

It’s never right

It’s always wrong

Your voice

Sounds in my head

I shout your name

I regret

But can’t forget

Close my eyes

Let tears fall

And fade

To nothing at all

But can’t forget

I fade

To a shadow

To an outline

Since I have lost

What was mine

I wish you had let

Me in

But I’ll never forget

Your touch

Your stare

I miss you

I wish you cared
