When Edward left me I was not a zombie but heartbroken. I was not shattered into pieces but cracked around the edges. I was not an ordinary girl who was a klutz but a girl with a voice to share. My heart was mending and Edward was soon fading. He was no longer apart of me and I excepted that. I was no longer hurting and I knew it was time to move on.

“Bella are you coming out?” Angela asked me. I was singing a song by Demi lovato called Forget for the school talent show.

“Yeah I’m just getting ready!” I yelled from the girls bathroom. Ever since I was little I was put into singing classes and I just never stopped. I was later put into contests and won every time.

“Hurry, the break dancers are almost done!” she yelled back.

“Ok.” I said and went to stand next to her. I was right after the breakers and my nerves were making me a little tense. Charlie and Jacob and the whole school were going to be there.

“Next we have our lovely Bella Swan!” Mike Newton said as he announced who was next in line. “She will be singing Forget by Demi Lovato!” The whole gymnasium screamed.

I walked onto the stage and Angela gave me a good luck hug. As I reached Mike he hugged me and gave me the microphone. The gymnasium shook with the screams of my classmates.

“Hey are you guys ready!” I screamed into the mic. They all screamed back. Then Mike turned the music on and I began singing.

As I finished everyone cheered louder. Mike came back and said I was fantastic and I got off the stage towards Angela and Ben.

“Bella that was awesome!” She screamed and hugged me tight.

“You were amazing!” Jacob said, still looking like my 15 year old best friend. Even though he wanted to be more I said no and that I couldn’t handle it. He walked over to me and gave me a squeeze.

“Thanks.” I said and hugged him back

My life was going back in order. Music, family, friends, and school. What else could I’ve want? My heart was fully healed and I was a new person. My life was perfect.
