“Anywhere else you wanna go?” Alice asked, with hope clear in her eyes.

“Yeah, I wanna look at some stuff.” I said, knowing she understood.

“Victoria's Secret, here we come!” she towed me in the direction to my favorite store.

My phone buzzed again, I realized I never replied to Jake.

I guess that's a yes? D: -Jake

Idk yet. Let me think about it. Maybe that is a yes. }:) -Nessie

I really hope not. -Jake

I'm gonna pick up a few things just in case. -Nessie

He didn't reply, I smiled to myself. I tried on some really sexy outfits. When I tried on the most sexy one in the store, I loved it. I took a picture of me in it, and sent it to Jake.

This is what you'll be missing. -Nessie I clicked the send button.

He answered. My phone buzzed.

“Hello?” I whispered.

“What the hell?!” he asked, his voice sounded strained.

“I don't know what you're talking about.” I said innocently.

“You do too.” he protested.

“Did you like what you saw?” I asked.

“You have no idea.” he answered.

“I don't believe you.” I said, shutting my phone. Alice and I cashed out, and left the mall.

I got another text. Why are you so mad? -Jake I shut my phone hastily. I got two more texts on our way home. They said Don't be mad. -Jake and I love you. -Jake I wanted to text back, but I decided to stay strong. Finally, we reached home. Alice looked mad.

“He's not supposed to be here!” she yelled. I knew she meant Jake. I went inside. Sure enough, Jake was waiting for me. The second I walked through the door, he rushed to me and grabbed my waist. I moved away from his touch, not saying a word.

“Can we talk?” he asked.

“Whatever.” I replied, walking out the back door into the forest. I shuddered internally as the memory of me leaving him flashed my mind. Once we were deep enough in the forest that no one could hear us, he started to talk.

“I don't see why you're mad. Explain it to me?” he asked.

“What don't you see? That it's our 6th month anniversary, and I got no contact from you all day until I called you!” I used one of my many reasons for being mad.

“I'm sorry.” he used his puppy dog eyes.

“I mean you always call me, or come and see me. And on our anniversary, you choose the one day that you don't bother talking to me? It really hurt me, it felt like you didn't care enough to at least call me.” I felt close to crying.

“Ness. Now you know that I love you. Don't even say that I don't care about you.” he took a hesitant step toward me, probably debating whether or not hugging me would help his case. I held out my arms for a hug, which he took. I laid my head on his chest.

“Sorry.” I murmured.

“No, I'm sorry.” he kissed the top of my head.

“Happy Anniversary.” we said at the same time. The sun showed through the trees, something unusual for Forks. I sank to the ground and closed my eyes and motioned for him to join me, which he did. We lay there for a few minutes, soaking in the sun.

“Oh and by the way,” I whispered in his ear. “My offer's still available.” I got up and started leave, but he stopped me and he stood up.

“I'm still not telling you.” he denied me.

“I know. Can I change your mind in anyway?” I wondered.

“Doubt it.” he answered.

“Just doubt?” I asked.

“No, but I didn't wanna come out and say 'I'm not telling you' because I was hoping you would try.” he laughed.

“Fine. I'll give you what you want.” I grabbed his neck and pulled his head down to kiss my lips. One of my hands grabbed at his hair while the other held his waist, so he couldn't escape. I moved my hand down and snapped the elastic of his boxers through his pants. His hands curled around my waist. I pulled our lips apart to say, “That's my cue to leave.” I ripped myself out of his arms and backed away.

“That's not what I want.” he laughed.

“I never said when.” I stuck my tongue out at him. “See you later, baby!” I turned and ran away from him, I could here him behind me.

“No, I'm getting ready. Go to your secret place that you would'nt tell me about!” I called. I got home and grabbed Alice's hand, ripping her away from Jasper. She giggled and got to work.
