I realized the moment I saw him I loved him. That I could never love anyone else, no matter what I may think. That at this very moment, I wanted his lips on mine, and I wanted him. Forever.

As I began to ready, I remembered all the boys that tried for my heart from high school. I remembered how I never dated one, no matter how I felt. I always knew I was exceptionally beautiful, but no comparison to my Aunt Rose, I thought at least. Speaking of Rose, she entered the room with a wicked grin.

“I hear you're going to date someone other than that dog.” she never liked Jacob.

“So, I guess we won't be smelling him anymore. I won't shed too many tears.” she grinned.

“Jake will still be around.” I answered as I applied my make-up.

“Ugh. Then what's the point in saying good-bye if you're still gonna let him drool all over you?” she asked, I ignored her. She got the message.

“Whatever.” she mumbled and left the room. After an hour of getting ready, I was ready to go. I had a random thought.

Where am I going? I should bring someone with me... No one in this house! Ugh, I wish I had kept in touch with the girls at school. Ugh. I groaned in my mind. I knew I would go to a random place in Seattle where everyone my age hangs out. A dance club for under-aged people. The Lava Room. What a strange name, but whatever. Everyone from my high school always went there, inviting me, but I always declined. I walked downstairs, luckily my Dad was nowhere to be seen, only Emmett and Jasper were downstairs.

“I'm going out. I'll be back later.” I announced as I grabbed a jacket that matched with my short blue dress.

“Whoa, Ness. Wait up a sec.” Emmett cautioned as Jasper followed him, they approached me.

“Where are you going? When will you be back? Who are going with? What are you gonna do? Do you have your phone?” he attacked me with questions.

“The Lava Room. By curfew. Alone. Party. Yes.” I answered all his questions with ease.

“Maybe you should tell Bella, cause Edward will kill me if I let you go.” he suggested.

“Aw, you're afraid of your little brother so you're gonna ask his wife for help?” I challenged.

“Ptsh, I'm not scared!” he insisted.

“Sure, sure.” I mumbled, a little saying I got from being with Jake...Stop it! I shouted at myself.

“Fine, go right ahead!” he decided, a little tricking never hurt anyone. I grabbed my purse and keys and hurried out the door to my car, the Audi that Dad had given me. I sped away before my Dad could realize I left.

Faster than Aunt Alice, I got to Seattle and arrived in the parking lot at The Lava Room. I smiled to myself as I got out of the car and walked to the front of the huge line, the guy working the entrance had to only be age 20. Easy.

“Hello, may I enter?” I flashed him a seductive smile.

“Er, I'm not supposed to, I could get in trouble,” he seemed nervous. I pulled my neck line a little but to reveal more cleavage.

“Couldn't you make one exception?” I leaned in to his ear, “I won't tell. It'll be our little secret.” I whispered slowly.

“Alright, go ahead in.” he opened the rope for me. The crowd was filled with Hey! and That's no fair! I smiled to myself again as I walked through the huge doors and slowly walked down the stairs, with every guys' eyes on me. The music was blaring, but I was unaffected. A guy approached me right away. A blond, cocky looking guy.

“Hey there. I'm Josh. What's your name?” he asked confidently.

“Vanessa, but I prefer Nessie.” I answered, telling a little lie.

“Wanna dance?” he offered. I shrugged.

“Sure, why not?” I agreed, he took my hand and led me to the floor. His hands went on my hips and we began to sway to the music. I decided to kick it up a notch when he turned me around. I pressed against him and I began grind our hips together. I could feel him getting 'excited', as I preferred to call it, which was a bit uncomfortable.

“What school do you go to?” he asked, trying to distract me.

“I graduated Forks High. You?” I returned the question.

“I graduated Forks High too, I don't remember seeing you, oh wait Nessie! Now I remember! You're dating Jacob Black, right?” I winced, he took a small step back.

“We broke up.” I lied, filling the space that he created.

“Oh.” was all he could say. As we danced some more, he began to kiss my neck. I didn't like it because we just met, but I didn't object immediately. After it began to go too far, I pulled away.

“Josh, not yet. I just met you.” I objected.

“Alright. You know, I've had a thing for you since you came to our school. I think about you sometimes.” he told me. I was a little curious as to what he thought.

“Really, what do you think about?” I asked seductively.

“Kissing you, touching you...” he trailed off and I didn't ask for further information.

After a few hours, I had hung out with Josh and checked my phone for the time 12:17pm. I sighed, my mom makes me come home at two when I have no school. Josh and I were sitting next to each other in a booth.

“I have to go.” I announced as I stood up.

“Can I see you again?” he asked.

“Sure. When?”

“Tomorrow night? Can I have your number?” he questioned.

“Gimme your phone.” I held out my hand out expectantly. He placed his phone in my palm and I entered my number.

“Promise you'll call me tomorrow?” I asked.

“I promise.” he agreed. He walked me to my car and tried to kiss me. I lightly pecked him on the lips and pulled away, climbing into my car. I saw him go toward his car, his eyes followed me as I pulled away. I sped home, knowing I would definitely make it on time. I sighed and thought about Josh. I got home at 1:30, to a overly anxious father.
