I’m dying

A timer slowly approaching zero

They are lying

When they say they can cure you

Death

Coming toward you at the speed of sound

It whispers in your ear an ice-cold breath

That makes your feet leave the ground

It holds you

An eternal tug of war with your soul

Its told you

Its consistent unstoppable goal

I’m falling susceptible

To prolonged homicide

To reject the solution of which you are able

To say no to the venom is suicide
